Rustling Wind (Wolf RP)

Shazda LV Delta
When Cana had said that she was thinking about mentors, Shazda looked to her paws. She glanced over and looked at the pups, her eyes landing on quiet Ahkan. A slight smile curved her mouth. She glanced back to Cana and instantly turned back to her paws. Cana was looking at her. "I hope you find the right mentors," she mumbled. Her attention turned to Ahkan when he began to speak. She grinned and turned to Mako when Ahkan announced his decision. "Congratulations, Mako! You'll do a great job!" She ordered her crazy tail to be more subdued, and it obeyed.

Kiyiya LV Pup
She winced when Daddy glared at her. She wanted to run out there and go up to him and tell him "sorry, Daddy" and cuddle up next to him. Like she had always wanted to do. She let out a tiny puppy sigh and looked to her paws. Why can't Daddy ever cuddle with us like Mommy does? Or at least act like he's our Daddy, and not just another wolf. She perked her ears when he named the new Beta. Her fluffy black tail wagged slightly. New betas were exciting!

Aqui
He thought a moment. "That sounds good. Then maybe we can hunt a little bit." He turned to give her a little smile, seeing her own. His heart picked up another pace, as if he was running a marathon. Then stepped forward. "Alright, let's go." He padded out of the camp clearing, heading for the edge of their territory.

Nyx RW Queen

The dark black she-wolf blinked her pale yellow eyes at Java then to Nyx with more happy thumps of her tail. Stopping it she smiled at both she-wolves that were in her presence. Looking at Vixen and motioning her back foreword to were the pups were and motioning to Saffron and Elanae on the Java's paws. Looking at Vixen and yawning at Java. "Will one of you watch them while I take a little nap to recharge?" she questioned one of the she-wolves tilting her head and taking another big yawn that she struggled to control.

Pyro LV Delta

Focusing on Ahkan he started thumping his tail wildly at the sound of his friends name. Looking at Mako he dipped his head "Congratulations Mako!" he said with excitement as he stopped wagging his tail and watched him. Looking at Shazda he thumped his tail "I can't believe it... Im so happy for him" the grey male blinked his amber eyes at her and then turned to Mako his tail thumping again.

Mako (Little Valley, Beta)

Mako wasn't sure what to say he was honored to be the Beta, but he hadn't expected to be chosen. He looked up at Ahkan, "thank you I'll do my best". He turned looking to the other wolves of the pack, they didn't seem to mind that he had been chosen. He looked back to the alpha giving him a nod and then walking away, he needed to be alone so he could think. He just couldn't believe that he had been chosen, being Beta was a big responsibility.

Vixen (Rustling wind)

Vixen wagged her tail and stepped up again, "I could unless Java would like some time with them". She looked to Java it didn't much matter to her if Java wanted to watch the pups, just as long as Nyx got was able to go and stretch her legs. She sat down looking towards the pups, they seemed interested in the alpha's paws.

Magnus (Rustling wind)

Magnus moved his back legs trying to climb up the rest of the way, he gave up and let out a yawn. With the little effort of climbing half way on he was already tired, he moved his head closer to Java's leg and got comfortable. He let out a content sigh, and soon fell asleep on her paw.

Shapria RW delta

She followed Aqui out of the camp, a flickering smile graced her face and she looked down at the ground as she walked, shaking off the feeling, she trotted on to catch up with Aqui. Her head was clear now and focused on her environment as they loped through the woods and began to reach the outskirts of the packs territory.

Elanae RW pup

She was a bit chilly now crawling around in the den away from her mother. She began mewling for her mothers warmth.

Cana LV queen

She saw Shazda's eyes land on Ahruth and thought to herself hmm Ahruth will need an understanding mentor, Shazda could be a possibility. Now Akhan was speaking, so Mako is beta she gave the male a bright smile in congratulations. Then looked up to Akhan wondering if the meeting was concluded because she really wanted to go for a run.

Zulik LV pup

Mako is beta he thought, turning to his siblings he said "so now we have to listen to Mako as leader too? There is going to be so many orders when were training!" His young brain was over excited and he was full of energy so he looked around for a form of entertainment and started flicking Kiyi with his tail.

Ahkan, LV Alpha

He stood up again, watching Mako walk off. Ahkan dismissed it and turned back to the pack. "I would like to see Pyro, Shazda, and Cana in my den, please." He said, before hopping off his ledge and walking into his den to wait for his mate and the two deltas. He sat back down in the center of his den, laying his tail acround his paws.

Ahruth, LV Pup

His silver fur raised slightly along his back, obviously upset. He waited until his father had ended the meeting to speak again. "I'm not going to be your adviser, Zulik. I'm going to lead my own pack. Away from you clumsy fools." His anger came from nowhere, or so it seemed. But it jad all been bottled up for a while. He was tired of Zulik always claiming such things, and treating him unfairly because he was the runt. Sure, it was all that Zulik knew and he probably didn't mean to, but Ahruth didn't care, his pride had been hurt.

Zulik LV pup

Taken aback by his brothers sudden and uncharacteristic anger he blinked at Ahruth slowly "ohh ok little brother...". Zulik was quiet for a moment before looking back at Ahruth with more conviction, "if your gonna lead your own pack how are you gonna show them who is boss? You can't stand up for yourself, even a newborn pup could dominate you! Kiyiya is always giving you meat and you never play! How are you going to be a big and strong alpha?". The young black pup was exasperated with his little brother, all he wanted was for him to play and be strong. Zulik was so much bigger than his litter mates that he had never met his match in a play fight yet and needed someone to truely test his strength.

Cana LV queen

Cana was slightly confused at Akhan's request for her and 2 deltas to meet with him but she got up, gave her shoulder a quick lick and her pelt a shake. Trotting across to Akhan's den she poked her head inside giving her mate a warm smile but knowing this is not the sort of occasion where Akhan would appreciate affection.

Nyx RW Queen

The dark black she-wolf streatched out her paws giving one last yawn as she closed her pale yellow eyes going to sleep. Soon the soft snoring could be heard coming from her as she slept. Curling her tail over the pups she moved her head a bit then floated into a dream that was about hunting with Summit again.

Saffron RW Pup

The dark black pup gave an angry squeal as she stopped sucking on Java's paw and fell of hitting the cold ground.Giving a series of angry and scared squeals as she wriggled on her back trying to get back to the warm nest. Giving one more squeal at the adult wolves she stopped just giving up and being quiet.

Pyro LV Delta

The gray male shook his pelt and blinked his amber eyes in the direction Mako was going. Giving a puzzled look he turned to the Alpha's pups wagging his tail at them. Hearing Ahkan call him, Cana, and Shazda he gave a head tilt and turned around to him. Looking at Ahkan and then nodding he walked to his den. Dipping his head as he walked by and entered sitting down quickly ears pricked up and curious for what he was about to say to them.

Vapor New LV Delta

Vapor the silver-white she wolf blinked her ice blue eyes upon hearing her friends name get called as Beta. Giving a friendly wag of her tail and hearing the Alpha call Pyro, Cana, and Shazda's name she tilted her head wondering what he wanted them for. Shrugging and looking at Mako she saw him go to the entrance of camp. Giving a friendly wag of he fluffy tail and walking quickly to him she stopped in front of him. "Congratulations Mako, Where are you going?" she asked softly her ice blue eyes blinking at him.

Kiyiya LV Pup
She blinked and listened to her brothers. "You know," she growled at Zulik, "just because you're big and strong doesn't mean Ahruth doesn't have the ability to be leader!" She whipped to face her little brother. "And maybe if you would talk to us and do stuff with us we would know how you feel and what you like." Her fur was bristled, and she snarled at both her brothers. "You both are 'portant wolves, so swallow your pride and get along!" Her ears flattened onto her head as she whipped around and walked away from her brothers, her fluffy black fur sticking straight up. She stopped and faced them. "We're the alpha's pups. You both wanna be alphas one day. So start actin' like one! Alphas leed by eexample, ya know." She whipped back around and strode briskly away from her brothers, not caring that she had been yelling for all the pack to hear. She felt a tear slide away from her eye, frustrated that her brothers never got along, sad that she seemed to get yelled at a lot recently, and scared for what Daddy might say about their fighting. About her yelling at her brothers.

Shazda LV Delta
Surprise jolted her, and she padded quickly toward Ahkan's den. A burst of quick worry hit her, wondering if she was in trouble. She glanced around at the pup's bickering momentarily, but her mind was a bit too preoccupied with Ahkan's summons. She took a deep breath and entered the den.

Aqui RW Beta
He finally reached the end of their territory, the Free River border. He took a deep breath, breathing in the smells. "I don't realize how good our pack smells," he said softly to Shapria. The Free River pack scents were, to Aqui, more hostile and foreign then Rustling Wind's. Then again, RW would be more familiar to him, more warm. He lived there and loved it here. He did love how the smells mingled here on the border, though. He turned to face Shapria, but stopped himself when she appeared in the corner of his eye. His heart pounded too hard, and he was scared of what this emotion he had been feeling lately was.

Mako (Little Valley)

Mako stopped as Vapor stood in front of him, "no where just to go think". He knew there really wasn't much to think about, he just didn't know what to think about being beta was all. "Why are you planning on going somewhere", he thought that she would be talking to one of the other wolves then him right now. He wasn't much of a talker, and sometimes wondered why she even bothered to be friends with him.

Vixen (Rustling wind)

Vixen smiled at Nyx as she fell asleep, she looked to Java. "they're cute aren't they, I'm sure Summit would be proud if he was here". She looked back to the pups, wondering if the alpha was going to watch them. Only one of them needed to watch them not both, but knowing that Java was the alpha she would probably have to do something for the pack.

Magnus (Rustling wind)

Magnus felt that he was sliding off the alpha's paw, he didn't try to stay on he merely slid to the ground. He sniffed around searching for his mother, he followed her scent and made his way over to her side. He nuzzled her side and yawned, before going back to sleep.

Ahkan, LV Alpha

He started talking as doon as he saw the three heads pop in, not wasting time by waiting for them to sit. "Shazda, Pyro, I have chosen you two to be the mentors to the pups. That being said, I am asking you two to help Cana and myself decide whether Ahruth or Zulik is the most fit to be the next alpha." He trusted them, not as much as Mako, but he did. He wanted his pack's opinions, knowing they would be around, at least for a little while, when the next alpha took leadership, for Ahkan was the eldest of his pack mates. They deserved at least a tiny say in who the next alpha was to be.

Ahruth, LV Pup

Anger boiled inside the small pup. He would not stand for this any longer. Lunging at Zulik, he knocked him iver with surprising strength. While he was not as strong as his brother, he was stronger than most runts, or pups his size. "Not everyone needs ruled through force, like you, you uncivilized brute!" He growled, but made no attempt to harm his brother.
"Excuse me for not wanting to have to put all of my energy to fail at wrestling you for a small, barley filling sliver of meat! I don't play because when I do, I end uo hurt, or behind and get you two chastised by Ahkan! Sorry for looking out for myself, like a wolf should." He gave one last snarl, before stalking away, silencing himself.
He was going to rule a pack of civiliazed, intelligent wolves. Who were clever and witty, and didn't need to have aggression used to be ruled over. He would be the ruler of the best pack the world had ever seen, and Zulik would not be apart of it.
Though part of him wanted to be Alpha of this pack, and become something his old tradition following father could be proud of. But he knew that would never happen. Zulik would never let that happen.

Pyro LV Delta

The gray male wolf nodded his head at the words of the Alpha. Closing his amber eyes and thinking for a moment as he stayed like that for a while. Finally opening them he looked at Ahkan and scooted looking at Shazda then Cana. "I think Ahruth would make a great choice if he was trained properly and I could assess him...." he blinked his amber orbs showing truth in them. Looking to Shazda he tilted his head and what her answer would be.

Vapor LV Delta

Blinking her ice blue eyes at him she wagged her tail "Im doing nothing...." she said wagging her tail quickly and looking at Mako giving her silver-white pelt a shake as she watched him. "What do you want to do?" she asked tilting her head and nudging him playfully tail wagging hard behind her. Smiling she stepped beside him fur barely touching but still touching each other she looked at him "We can do whatever you want to do....it doesn't matter to me." Tilting her head to the side and awaiting his answer to her.

Mako (Little valley, Beta)

Mako gave her a slight smile at the playful nudge, "I guess we can take a walk I don't really have anything in mind". He looked to where he had seen the alpha last, he wasn't there anymore. Looking back to Vapor "we might be able to find something to do on the walk", he began to walk ahead knowing that she would probably follow. "Who do you think Ahkan will pick for the next alpha", he knew that one would be chosen soon. All three pups seemed promising for alpha, though he knew Kiyiya would most likely not be picked due to Ahkan being the traditional wolf he was.

Vapor LV Delta

The she-wolf nodded to him as she walked after him quickly to catch up. Keeping stride with him she wagged her tail as she walked beside Mako and looked at him taking a breath in. "I don't really know...." she said blinking her ice blue eyes as she walked beside him "I hope it's a good one...." she said pausing and continuing on beside him on there little walk in the forest. Once in the forest she sniffed the air and gave a happy sigh as she looked at Mako "I love this pack and Im so glad were friends!" she said with emotion in her voice talking about Mako. "You've always been so kind to me, funny and a great friend!" she said beginning to list traits about Mako that made him such a great friend to her.

Cana

She listened to Akhan wishing he had consulted her in who he thought should mentor the pups, she pushed the feeling aside before she spoke, "I think you two will be great mentors for the pups. I think they should begin training with you so you can learn their personalities before the next alpha is decided on" she looked pointedly at Akhan. She did not want the packs next alpha to be chosen on the personalities of untrained pups, they needed chance to prove their personalities. She was also slightly surprised at Pyro's choice of Ahruth, he was not a strong pup and although that may come with training. Zulik was better suited physically to be leader, he was going to become such a large wolf he wouldn't have to be aggressive to get respect. Then again Ahruth is brighter so may be a wise leader... These thoughts all rush through her head, she wished Akhan had spoken to her privately first.

Zulik LV pup

Zulik was a bit upset at his sisters word, he loved his sister and didn't like to make her upset but he thought Why does she always stick up for him!?! He never does anything for us!. Seeing his brother tense he braced for a pounce from Ahruth and was slightly surprised when he was actually knocked over. As Ahruth spat in his face he kicked with his back legs to dislodge him but with all claws sheathed, he didnt want to hurt his little brother but he was being SO mouse-brained! "Ahruth GET OFF!" he yelled, once Ahruth had finished his rant Zulik got up and ran to the other side of camp. His fury and embarrassment turned to tears and he ran head long into the grass away from them all. Once out of camp he flung himself down in the grass, "Why is it so unfair!?! I can never make my opinion heard! Ahruth is too weak to be a leader! He'd never survive a battle or anything! I was trying to be nice, planning our pack together, its so unfair..." he trailed off his rant to himself and got up walking further out of camp than he had ever been before, in a huge sulk.

Shapria RW delta

She breathed in deeply scenting the sweet fresh air, the smells of many wolves mingled together, she tried to pick up the scents of any that she knew. Looking up at Aqui she grinned, unaware of his heart racing "lets race right along the border" she suggested.

Elanae RW pup

Squealling for someone's attention, she needed to get back up to the nest. Swinging her head around she tried to follow the scent with little success.

Mako (Little valley, Beta)

Mako laughed "I wouldn't say I'm funny", he never thought himself to be funny. He breathed in the smell of the forest, he liked to be in the forest more then in camp. "It's nice out to day", he smiled it was nice out enough to go in the pond. "I think I know what we can do", he headed in the direction of the pond. "Come on I'll race" he broke into a run, he had and ear pointed in Vaopor's direction listening for her pawsteps. He stuck out his tongue as he ran, feeling the wind through his coat.

Vixen (Rustling wind)

Vixen laid down decided to just go ahead and stay put, she laid her head down watching the pups. She began to wag her tail, taking care that it wouldn't thump on the ground and wake Nyx up. She stretched out a paw to Elanae as the little female let out a whine for attention, she didn't touch her with the paw just setting it close enough for her to find it.
