World Of Strays - Role Play-

Spruce:
Spruce flattened her ears. "And how do you expect me o get out of them? To jump?" she hissed sarcastically. However, she began to reluctantly climb up the stairs. She looked back at the doggy door right before she reached the second floor. I hope the water doesn't rise anymore, or else it'll get in here.

Karma

Karma entered the room where the others where, she raised her eyebrows at the sight of all the cow toys. She didn't say anything as she laid down on the floor, she began chewing on her bone. She kept her eyes on the window, watching the rain pouring down and hitting it hard. "I'm sure it'll stop in the morning", though the way it was coming down she didn't think that would be happening any time soon.

Whip
Whip searched the too for something to put keep the door open. Her eyes landed on a small dresser and she opened one of the drawers. There was a rectangular object that full of paper. Whip had often seen humans staring objects much like this one, but she could never figure out the purpose of it. When she picked it up in her mouth, it felt heavy enough to prevent the door form closing. She took it to the door and dropped it on the ground, and the door stayed open. "Now what?" she said, looking expectantly at Ace.

Ace

Ace looked at the object, he moved it closer to the door before moving out of the way. He was glad that it did the trick, "we should be able to do that with the others". He grabbed the key card again, leaving the room. He wanted to open one certain room, it would be bigger then the others. He knew he his human spent a lot of time in the big room, he felt if he got it open he would feel closer to his human even though he was gone.

Whip
Whip followed dutifully after Ace as he left the room. She hadn't really noticed before, but she felt like she trusted Ace, despite that she had not even known him that long. As they walked in silence, Whip noticed something very worrying. "I thought the rain would have stopped by now," she commented apprehensively, " but if anything, it's raining harder."

Spruce:
Spruce sat down near a window and looked out. The water was steadily rising, and she was worried. This isn't normal. Something bad is happening. No one is safe.
She shook herself, clearing her head. Stay positive... even though you've never been good at it.

Colt:
Colt got up, stretching and yawning. He looked at the door, all the way across the room. Through its little window, he could see that the rain was still pouring down. He suppressed a shiver.

Ace

"yea I know I'm not liking it", he stopped by a door, "let's open this one". He was eager to open it, but he was nervous about the rain out side as well. He put the key in the slot on the door, he could hear thunder and looked to the stairs.


Karma

Karma looked to Spruce as she jumped up to look outside the window. "I'm sure you friends fine you should get some sleep, hopefully the rain will let up in the morning". She was just trying to cheer Spruce up, she laid her head down chewing on her bone trying to keep the rain off her mind.

Whip
Whip tilted her head questioningly as Ace slid the card into the slot. He seemed eager to get into the room. But why? She glanced over Ace's shoulder and saw that this room was a little different, but that still didn't tell her why he was so eager.

Spruce:
Spruce huffed skeptically. She heaved herself onto the windowsill and lay down, looking out at the storm. She finally realized how tired she was- she was wet still, and bruised, and sore.

Ace

Ace entered the room looking around, his eyes landed on something on the bed. He walked over to the bed, putting his front paws on it. He wagged his tail it was a jacket, but not just any jacket his humans. "Um I'll take this room", he turned his head quickly at a loud crashing sound almost like breaking glass.

Karma

Karma watched Spruce, she half looking at her and half looking out the window. She looked over at Levi and Bailey, "you okay Bailey" she had been in a rush getting up here and wanted to make sure she was okay.

Whip
Whip watched curiously as Ace looked at something on the bed in the center of the room. Just like she had noticed before, he seemed excited. When he murmured that he would take that room, Whip found herself a little surprised. She didn't think that they would each just choose a room and live alone, occasionally bumping into one another. She turned away to find a room to call her own when the a sound like breaking glass interrupted her.

Ace

Ace pushed off the bed, and looked out the room. He couldn't see anything so he headed for the stairs, from there he still couldn't see anything. He started walking down the stairs, stopping on the last step. A window was broken with what looked like a long stick with wire attached to it, he didn't know how it would of gotten knocked down those things where huge after all. "Hopefully not a lot of water will come in", though he wouldn't be surprised if some did.

Quincy
He shook out of his reverie. He had been thinking about Miss Q and his upcoming birthday, what they would have done before... Before everything. He looked to his little guest. "Want to try and play something? Get our minds off of the rain?" He didn't really know what to do. Maybe they could talk, or something. The rain was a backdrop that was never ceasing.

Bailey
She shivered upstairs, wondering why it was raining so hard. Worse then ever in the yard of Ya Know. She looked into her bowl and took out the bone she got. She chewed on it, and found it very stress relieving. She stopped and cocked her head at it. She was still tense, worried, and scared. But she could relax a little by chewing on the bone. She let out a sigh.

Colt:
"Yeah, sure." he answered, perking up. It was hard to stay cheerful, though. Very hard.
Getting up, Colt stretched his little legs, letting his tail curl over his back. Maybe this isn't so bad, he thought. Maybe the rain will stop and it'll all be okay.

Quincy
"Hm," he thought a moment. "What do you want to play?" He wondered how he could play with the small cat. He shrugged inwardly. They would find a way.
