Karma

Karma couldn't help but laugh, she knew most cats don't like dogs so she could understand why this one was being so cautious. "It's not unlike some dogs I don't mind you cats and I'm sure my friends will be fine with it as well", she gave her a friendly smile. She looked back to Bailey and Levi they where still playing with the rope, "come on if you don't like us then you can leave if you want" she looked back to the cat.

Spruce:

Spruce flattened her ears and rigidly stepped inside. There were two other dogs... seeing all three together made her remember seeing them at the pet store. And one of the dogs was Levi. This is just great. she hissed sarcastically in her head. I really would prefer if I didn't lose my cool right now.

Karma

Karma smiled and headed back to the couch, "I hope you don't mind Levi but she was cold and no one should be left out in the rain". She jumped up on the couch looking to the cat, "I'm Karma by the way" she didn't recognize her from the pet store. "I'm sure it would be fine if you lay anywhere, just don't go in Levis humans room", seeing as he didn't want them in there he probably didn't want a cat in there either.

Spruce:

Spruce shook her head, looking away from Levi. "Uh... okay." she answered Karma. "I'm Spruce."
She walked over to a table and lay down underneath it. She shivered a bit- she was soaking wet.

Karma

Karma laid her head down so that she could look at Spruce while she talked, she began to think that she met her before as she looked at her. "why do I think I've seen you before", she could of ran into her at the shelter when the humans where still here. She wouldn't be surprised if that was where she met her, that's where she met a lot of dogs and cats.

Spruce:

"You saw me at the pet store, remember?" she asked bluntly. She had Colt on her mind. Where was he? Was he safe? Was he even alive? The thoughts nagged at her.

Karma

Karma laughed of course it had just slipped her mind, "yea sorry I guess it just slipped my mind". She looked at Bailey and Levi, her eyes where manly on Levi, she trying to see what He was thinking since she brought Spruce in.

Levi

Levi tugged on the toy as a demonstration for Bailey, letting out a playful growl once again. He saw the cat he had met earlier at the pet store, Spruce. He didn't let go of the rope toy when he spoke. "Ah, no it isn't a problem, I wouldn't want to be stuck in that rain as much as the next cat or dog," he said. In all actuality, he cared a whole lot about the growing number of beings in his home. He liked solitude more than big crowds and much like Bailey had a phobia of rain, he had a phobia of large crowds.

Spruce:
"By the way, sorry for... you know, intruding." she told him. "I just washed up beside this house, and Karma told me I could come in.... Oh, has anyone here seen a small golden cat, with faint tabby stripes and spots?" she suddenly demanded. Colt! Right, Colt. I have to stop getting sidetracked. He needs me.

Karma

Karma thought about it, shaking her head at the question. "I haven't sorry, why is it a friends of yours", she flicked her ear to the doggy door. She thought she heard a small splash on the floor, as if a little bit of water was coming in. She hopped she was just imagining things, she shook her head again as she heard the sound once more.

Spruce:
Spruce kneaded the carpet with her claws. "Yes. Yes he is. Have you two seen him?" she asked Bailey and Levi, worry creeping into her voice. Water had started splashing against the doggy door, and some got onto the floor. Not good. Not good at all.

Levi

Levi dropped the toy rope, cutting the playtime short. "What was that," he asked the others cautiously. He had heard what sounded like water splashing onto the floor. He looked at the doggy door and sure enough there was water seeping in. "Guys, I think that is a huge problem."

Karma

Karma looked to the doggy door now, so she wasn't imagining thing then. "well as long as it doesn't cone in here we'll be fine, even I it does you have the upstairs". She was trying to sound cheerful, but she knew this was a big problem. She moved a little bit more onto the couch, not like it would help if the water rose more and came further in.

Whip
Whip nodded, keeping in mind that the card they were looking for would have a word would instead of a number. The more Whip thought about it, the more it made since. A card that opened all the doors would be different from the rest. In fact, it probably wouldn't even be mixed in with the normal cards. Whip began for a slot away form the rest.

Ace

Ace grabbed a card from the top, placing it one the ground to see if it was the right one it wasn't. "any luck" he looked for another he then remember, he went back to the desk. Grabbing hold of a handle of one of the drawers it was difficult to get a good grip, when he thought he had one his mouth slipped. "if I can get this open we can see if it's inside this", he was surprised he didn't think of it before.
