Kahlen 
"Thanks for the chocolate," Kahlen replied, instead of okay, spill what's going on.

Auberon
He shrugged. "Mind if I try some?" It was still spoken in a muttered undertone, but he managed to smile a little. 

Outlaw 
She entered the forgery and explained to one of the kids what she needed. They got to work, and she soon walked out with four boxes of the bullets tucked into her pockets. 

Kahlen 
"I do mind," Kahlen said with a small smile. "We both know how that would play out."

Auberon
"I can heal myself, you know." Well, maybe not right now. I'm exhausted. But I think it's worth the risk. If someone saves me, yay, I can go on the quest. If not... 

Kahlen 
"Yes, I do, but I don't think I could handle the possible consequences, and I don't think it's worth risking your life over, Auberon," Kahlen said gently. "Just a thought."

Auberon
He huffed quietly and looked back down past all the campers' heads and at where Henry the satyr was nervously pacing, waiting for Chiron. "Fine."

Kahlen 
Do I dare gently demand an explanation...? Crap I have no idea what the heck I'm doing why did I get picked for this it's not like I'm qualified 

Mason
 He sighed in exasperation. "If you go on that quest, you'll die, and then I'll cry, and that would be really weird because, in case you haven't picked up on it, I don't cry." Except for literally last night- Never mind.

James
 "And? I'm used to not staying in one place for too long. It'll be fine," he muttered in response, turning to leave.

Kaylee
"So you would rather have me die here doing nothing, then? Let me continue to be useless, only to give me another- what, two months? Three?"

Floyd
Floyd slipped his hand into James' giving him a weak smile. "I'm going too, then, if only to keep you out of trouble."

Outlaw 
She sat down on her cabin steps. Ok, now her burns where really starting to hurt. The kid at the forgery had looked at her a bit weird, but hadn’t said anything bout going to the infirmary. 

Mason
 "You know what? Yes. I'd rather you just slowly fade away than find a tragic way to die because at least then I'd be able to say that I didn't fail," he snapped, stalking away from her.

James
 James' head snapped up, fear in his eyes as he looked at Floyd. "Floyd, no, please don't. I don't want you to end up like Katie and-," Stop right there.

"James, I've been on plenty of quests. I'll be fine." 

Kaylee
She spluttered, balling up her hands. "You, John, are the single most selfish person I have ever met." She growled after him, turning and climbing over seats and rows until she dropped into a walkway, scampering up to where Floyd and James were.

Ethel
 "He never even answered my question," she grumbled, crossing her arms in a childish way before turning to face Ollie. "Well? When do you wanna leave to go find Beau?" And when did you, dear Ethel, decide that you were going with her?

Jimmy
 Jimmy got up and left the amphitheater, still kind of in a daze as he headed back towards the medical tent to give Freddie a summary of what he'd learned.

James
 "Floyd, I've only been here for five days, and I've already witnessed several people die while on a quest. Any of us can die at any time, a- Oh, uh, hey Kaylee!," James greeted, giving her a small smile.

Mason
 Mason sighed, glancing back at her with the intent to defend himself but then deciding against it, instead continuing on his way. He trudged back to the Hecate cabin, throwing the door open and slamming it shut once he was inside. He pulled on his still-semi-damp shirt before sitting down on the edge of the bed that he'd claimed the previous night, remaining still for a moment before pulling his bag into his lap and digging through it, pushing aside numerous cassettes and a half-empty pack of cigarettes before reaching a small pocket on the inside of the bag. He gently grabbed the only item that was inside of the pocket and pulled it out, staring at it somberly. Regret and sadness were evident in his eyes, which usually showed nothing other than cynicism and defiance. The item was an old Polaroid photograph featuring himself, Bruce, and Joey, with the date that it had been taken scribbled on the bottom in Joey's handwriting - September 1978. They were all sitting on the ground in Bruce's attic, with Joey's drum set visible in the background and a rather large amount of cans and other random junk scattered on the ground. Joey had been the one responsible for taking the picture; holding the camera backwards in order to include himself in it had been a bit difficult, but he'd managed. Slightly behind him was where the other two were positioned. Bruce was sifting through a box of papers, looking up at the camera with a confused expression - he hadn't known that Joey was taking the picture. Mason was to Bruce's right, his guitar laying on the ground beside him as he flashed the camera a peace sign, his signature crooked smile on his face. Mase smiled slightly, running his thumb over the old photo. It definitely showed its age, which was a bit jarring, since it had still been pretty new the last time that he'd seen it. His somewhat-happy expression eventually faded as he looked back at Joey's smiling face - the face of someone who you'd never guess was dealing with so much, both at home and in his head. Am I really to blame for not wanting a repeat of that?

"Wait, you're coming?" Ollie's entire mood perked up greatly, and she grinned. "Well, we need a third person, minimum, so I guess we should go and receive a prophecy in the meantime."

"You can keep talking." She grumbled, crossing her arms and sitting nearby in an empty seat. 

Floyd
"Don't mind her, she just got told she wasn't allowed to go." He glanced over at his sister, frowning. Ouch. That was a little rough, Mason. "That quest also had about four more people than it should have, I have no idea how so many of you came back. This one will only have three."
