Bailey
"Before today, I waited for Man..." She paused, again remembering he was gone for good, like all the other humans. But for some reason, she wanted to believe they would return. "I guess now I'll just use it as a center base to return to every day." She thought again. "I would like that, if you stopped by. Maybe I could look for food with you every day?"

Quincy
"It's not a trick." Quincy gave his tail another thump. "I know it's probably hard to take me at face value, but please trust me. I wouldn't want to trick anyone." He thought of how honest Miss Q was, and the thought made his ears droop and his eyes grow hazy for a moment. He shook his head, pushing back the sadness.

Karma

Karma smiled and nodded, "okay we can do you that". She was happy to have Bailey as a friend, and that she was able to help her. "what else where planning on taking with you", it might be a two dog job if it was a lot.

Colt:

Colt noticed the dog's momentary sad gaze. "What's wrong? Do you miss your owner?" he asked, sitting down slowly. "Is this your home? I don't mean to intrude if it is."

Bailey
Bailey thought a moment. "Just the bowl, squeaky toy, rope, ball, and bed. The bed I might need help with. The toys can go in the bowl." She nodded to Crow and picked up the toys she wanted, placing them in the bowl.

Quincy
He smiled at the cat. "I miss her. She was nice. You're not intruding... I needed to talk to someone. I haven't seen many other animals since the humans disappeared. I saw Crow, a cat, at the pet store..." He paused, realizing he was rambling. He mentally punished himself. He had never talked so much before Miss Q disappeared. "Would you like to come in? I have water and some cat food. Miss Q took care of a friend's cat once, and held onto the food just in case."

Levi

Levi stifled a smirk when the cat said hi again. "I'm Levi, um, what's your name?" He stood up perking his ears. He turned to Karma and Bailey, obviously listening in on their conversation. "I could help you with the bed and some other things," he offered, "I live close by anyways." He literally stayed in the house just across the street from Bailey. It was a wonder they hadn't met before the humans disappeared.

Bailey
Bailey perked her ears toward Levi. "Thanks. Are you taking anything?" She looked at the cow squeaky toy that he had picked up earlier. She felt bad that she had unintentionally interrupted Levi and the cat's conversation.

Colt:

"Oh, I've met Crow! He seems nice." he replied. "And I'd love to come in, thanks. But... my mom- er, guardian, might get worried since I'm not where she left me..." he trailed off.

Spruce:

"I'm Spruce." she choked out. She cleared her throat; she was embarrassed; and then she walked over to the cat treat section. She wasn't planning on getting anything; she just wanted to be alone and clear her head.
She spotted a certain brand of cat treat that she vaguely remembered Colt telling her about. He had said they were very good. Thinking of him, her head shot up, and she bolted out the door. I left him alone with a stranger! What was I thinking? He's probably terrified!
"Colt!" she screeched, pelting through the town. She had no clue where she was trying to go.

Karma

Karma had nearly forgotten that they had come in with another dog, "well I know I'm going to bring something". She planning on bring the squeaky toy and hopefully a bone if there's on left, she watched as the that Levi had been talking to all of a sudden ran out of the store. She tilted her head to the side "what's her rush", she look to Bailey and Levi "I'm going to go see if I can't find a bone, she then walked off and went down another aisle.

Quincy
Quincy lifted his head. He had heard his new cat friend's name. He turned to the cat, thinking about his remark about his guardian. "Colt's over here!" he woofed loudly. He hoped he didn't scare the little cat when he barked, but he didn't want the cat's "mom" to be worried, like Miss Q would have been if he had been missing. He knew that Colt thought of his guardian as his mother from his stumble in his words. Just like Quincy thought of Miss Q as his mom, even though she was a human and him a dog.

Bailey
Bailey shrugged at Karma's question about the cat. "Sounds like she's looking for someone." She nodded at her. "If there's two, grab me one too, please. If not, you can have one."

Spruce:

Spruce staggered to a halt when she heard the bark. She had ran the entire way, and was exhausted.
"Who's with him?" she asked bluntly.

Quincy
Quincy cocked his head, hearing the responding meow. "A dog. My name's Quincy," he barked. He wagged his tail, looking to Colt.

Karma

Karma went to the back of the store, that's where she found the bones. There was a few left, she licked her lips as she looked them over. She picked one out for Bailey, then looking for one for her. there wasn't much choses, but she looking for one that had peanut butter in it. She liked those kinds she saw it and grabbed it, wagging her tail and picking up the one for Bailey she went back to the others.

Whip
"Okay," Whip said, "I guess food can wait for now. Do you have some sort of plan for survival? I mean, the humans are gone, so we can't rely on stores and scraps to survive. They'll eventually run out. What do we do then?" Whip hated to ask that question. She also felt bad since she had implied that the people were never coming back. From what Ace had told her, he loved his humans. But all the humans had been gone so long; they weren't coming back. But could Ace ever accept that?

Colt & Spruce:

"She can be tetchy." Colt warned, looking up at Quincy as Spruce rounded the corner, claws extended for a fight.

Ace

"nope not really just taking one day at a time", he knew the food at the stores won't last forever. He's had caught a few wild animals for fun, so he could survive by hunting birds and squirrels. "I guess when everything runs out, it'll be time to hunt", he ignored the fact that she implied that the humans weren't coming back. He knew it was probably true, he just didn't want to believe it. He saw the building coming into view, he had been here before with his humans. The door was open and he could smell some familiar scents, though they where slowly fading. "Come on" he went inside, it was the lobby of a hotel.
