World Of Strays - Role Play-

Spruce:

Leaving Colt to talk to Kaya, she trotted away, ignoring Colt's pleading face. He has her. He doesn't need me. I should go get food.
However, she was never taken to a food store of any kind by her owners, so she had no clue where to go. I want to find a meat shop. Oh, where to look...
After much searching, she came across what she thought was a meat shop. But it was actually a pet store, with several dogs, Crow, and- a cow? -inside. She wasn't scared of the dogs; she was scared of the store. Scared that she would lose her composure as she saw all the pet supplies that she once loved; that were taken away from her when she fled.
"Uh... hi?" she stammered, looking at the dogs. "I'll be going now... sorry to interrupt."
But she stopped herself from leaving. She didn't really know why.

Karma

"Well you could always wander around, that's what I do anyways", she looked to Levi who picked a cow toy smiling as he squeezed it. She then turned to the new voice, it was another cat. "hey, your not interrupting if your looking for food just go ahead pick something". She wagged the tip of her tail, she liked making new friends ad seemed that's all she was doing today.

Bailey
"Why would I if I have Man's porch?" The question was spoken softly, so as not to sound rude. She turned to the newcomer, another cat. "You're not interrupting. Go ahead and look around." Bailey noticed that the cat appeared nervous, so she sat. Maybe she would appear less intimidating, if that's what was making the cat uneasy.

Quincy
He finally had reached his home. He grunted as he pulled the bag inside and propped it against the other food bags. He padded to the living room and jumped on the couch. He looked to the little table Miss Q had put there. It had a picture of him and her, winning an obedience competition. He stared at her face, and sadness filled him like an underground reservoir. It threatened to explode into a geyser. Something had happened to all the humans. He knew Miss Q, and she wouldn't have gone somewhere without taking him. Quincy sighed and laid down. One day, they would be back. And he would jump into her lap as if he was a tiny lap dog. He would whine and wag his tail like a maniac, licking her hands, her face, trying to touch her. He sighed again. It would never happen. He was just torturing himself thinking of her.

Crow

"Cat food is in the first aisle, all the way to the left." Crow offered helpfully, before sitting down on the tile floor that the humans picked for this building.
"Take what you need, there's plenty here. Let me know if you need help finding anything." The big cat debated finding some catnip, his favorite, but decided against it. He was too reserved to have that fun in front of others.

Spruce:

"I'm not hungry. I ate a rabbit." she said flatly. "Thanks, though, I guess."
She wasn't very good with social interaction.
She nodded to Crow, who she had met earlier. She started walking farther into the building, but stopped when she saw a handsome German Shepard dog with a cow toy.
"Uh... hi." she stammered, blushing under her fur. Get a hold of yourself! she snapped silently.

Levi

Levi looked at the cat that had just walked into the store. He wasn't really one to be friendly to cats, anybody for that matter. He took a step back and tilted his head slightly. He observed the cat, she was anxious, timid as what he could tell. He sat, wagging his tail slightly in attempt to be friendly. He dropped the toy, staring at it instead of the cat. "Uh, hi," he said when he lifted his head to finally look at the cat. He didn't know what else he could have possibly said.

Spruce:

She shook herself. He probably thinks I'm scared. I'm not. Just shaken.
"Hi." she responded, even though she had already said that. What do I do? I'm not usually like this!

Karma

"I don't know just thought it might be better then staying in one spot", she just felt sorry for her was all. "You could always travel with me" she didn't now what if she would agree or not, she turned to the two cats. "I don't think I caught your names I'm Karma" even if she only saw them this once she wanted to know their names.

Bailey
"I... I think I'll stay on Man's porch. Thanks, though," she added hastily. She sat and listened as Karma talked to the cats. She saw the one talking with Levi. "Karma, you could sleep on Man's porch too," she offered suddenly. She hadn't thought about it, just said it. Man wouldn't mind. He wasn't around, anyways.

Quincy
He stared at Miss Q in the picture for a few more seconds before jumping off the couch and stretching. He padded into the kitchen and got himself a drink of water, then ate some of his food. He sighed at how empty the house was without Miss Q. He headed into the yard again, bringing his Wunderball. It was an orange rubber ball, with a rough surface. It bounced all over the place and was a lot of fun to play with. Miss Q had been an amazing thrower. He dropped it and ran after it's erratic movements. He gave a few happy barks, forgetting his despair for a moment of play.

(Out of Character - Wunderball is a real toy. My dog doesn't have one but I've heard their really good)

Colt:

"Uh, well, sorry about not letting you answer my question, but I've got to go." Colt apologized hastily to Kaya, sprinting after Spruce. Only, she was already out of sight.
What do I do now? I wish I had let Kaya come with me; who knows what kind of dangerous creatures could be out here? he fretted silently.
Since he had no where to go, he wandered around the town, looking for Spruce. The pet store maybe? No, she wouldn't go there. he decided, shaking his head and turning away from the store. After much searching, he came across a dog playing in a yard. He froze, unsure of what to do.

Quincy
Quincy leaped up and caught the ball midair. He let out a happy woof and chased his tail a moment. It felt good to relax and feel like a pup again. He stopped, feeling eyes upon his fur. He turned and saw a cowering cat. His eyes softened, and he rolled on his back, exposing his tummy to appear less threatening. "Hi," he said softly. He had met terrified cats, mean cats, friendly cats, and bossy cats. He always chased the mean ones and bossy ones, but the scared ones and friendly ones he tried to be friends with. He liked being nice to animals who needed it. Besides, having a friend would be nice. A distraction from his depression over Miss Q's departure.

Colt:

"Um, hi." Colt said quietly. "My-my name is Colt."
He stood up and walked closer to the dog, but not too close. He didn't appear mean, but his time with Spruce had taught him to trust nothing. It could be a trap. But only, he didn't want to act suspicious.

Quincy
Quincy wagged his tail at the cat, still on his back. He flipped over, but only because it was hurting his spine. He laid on his stomach, looking at the cat with soft eyes. "Nice to meet you. I'm Quincy." He studied the cat thoughtfully. "I'm friendly," he said, hoping to ease the cat's fears. Most likely it wouldn't work. It never really did. He would have to show that he was friendly.

Colt:

"Really? This isn't a trick, is it?" Colt asked warily. He didn't want to be rude, but he wanted to please Spruce that he could survive on his own.

Karma

"Uh i don't know i don't really stick to one place for long" which was true, besides she didn't like the idea of sleeping on a porch. "But i could stop by once in awhile" she wouldn't mind doing that, that way Bailey wouldn't be alone all the time. "what do you do over there by your self anyways", she curious if she didn't really like to be alone all the time.
