Bailey
She nodded. "Yeah, the cow toy can go in here, and I'll get it to you when we get to my place. If you guys could carry the bed, that would be nice. I owe you guys." She smiled, wagging her tail. She, too looked outside. "If your place is too far away, Karma, you can sleep on Man's porch with me tonight." She picked up her bowl, ready to go.

Quincy
He chuckled, growing fond of the little cat quickly. "If she'll let you," he said, motioning outside, "you can come by anytime you want and have some. I'll make sure I'm well stocked." He wagged his tail and went to the sink to get a quick drink. After he lapped at the flow a couple times, he turned back to Colt. The cat was easy to like, and he would continue to try to be friends with his guardian. He kept the thoughts to himself and looked around. "Oh!" He exclaimed, leaping up. "I'll be right back!" He dashed to one of the extra closets and rummaged through. Pulling out a small cat bed, he returned to the kitchen. He went back to the closet and struggled with one of those big cat towers. He had grumbled when he had first seen it, but now he was glad Miss Q had bought it. He brought it, too, to the kitchen. "I have these here, too." His tail whipped the air with excitement.

Colt:

"Oh, cool!" he exclaimed, twitching his whiskers and kneading at the bed. It was soft, but not too fluffy that it would tickle his ears. Grabbing the side of it in his mouth, he drug it to the foot of a couch. Then, the small cat looked up at the daunting cat tower. It was too big for him to carry, plus, he couldn't climb it because he didn't have claws. He was scared of falling, anyway, so that didn't hurt his feelings. But he was scared of telling others he was declawed, because they might attack him.
"Um, thanks for the tower, but... I can't actually climb or scratch it." he murmured sheepishly, his ears back.

Quincy
"Oh, okay. Maybe your mom - guardian - would like it? I can carry it out and ask her later." Quincy smiled. "Guess what," he whispered, "I can't eat peanut butter." It was a horrible thing, because peanut butter was so good. He had noticed Colt looking sheepish about not being able to climb. "I'm allergic to peanuts." He grinned and wagged his tail. "If you want to take a nap, I'll tell.... what's her name, again?" Quincy didn't recall being told Colt's mom's name.

Colt:

"Really? You can't eat peanut butter? That's horrible. My owners never let me eat peanut butter." he said sadly. "I don't think Spruce will mess with the tower, bu feel free to take it to her." he yawned, padding over to his bed and curling up.

Quincy
He smiled and picked up the tower in his mouth. It was bulky and hard to carry, but that was okay. He pulled it outside and set it down, looking around for Spruce. He spotted her in a bush. "Excuse me," he said softly, not wanting to be right there if she was asleep and he woke up. "Excuse me, Spruce?" He paused, and then went on. "Colt is taking a nap inside. I found a cat bed and this tower. He said he can't use it, but if you'd like to, feel free." He had set it down. Now he sat, waiting for Spruce to respond.

Karma

Karma wasn't sure if she wanted to sleep on a porch, but if it got dark then maybe. "I don't maybe" she smiled, if it came down to she would. She picked up one side of the bed, looking over at Levi so that he knew she was ready for him to grab the other side. "It shouldn't take us that long to the get back to your house" at least she hoped it didn't, but with them carrying the bed it might take longer because of the extra weight.

Whip
Whip sniffed at the box Ace had thrown her. It was full of small, round treats that smelled a little like meat. Whip stuck her muzzle into the box and hesitantly snatched up one the treats. As Ace had said, it was good and reminded her of the chicken meat that she had sometimes found in the trash. She ate a few more and as she ate, both dogs had fell silent. "You seem to know this place pretty well. Did you ever come here with your humans?" Whip asked, shattering the uncomfortable silence.

Ace

Ace nodded "yea almost everyday though I seemed to be the only dog allowed here", he looked to the stairs. They could go sleep in one of the room, his human had always left one open for him to in. He looked back to her, "it's a safe place here I plan to stay here for awhile you an stay if you want". He didn't mind if she didn't, it would be nice to have company anyways. "It's dry here and plenty of room" he looked around again, he could almost see all the humans walking around.

Whip
"I'll stay. It would be nice to have permanent shelter and access to food," Whip responded. Whip noticed Ace looking around the room, like he was imagining that the humans were still there, roaming up and down the stair case, chatting with one another, living their lives. "Maybe I'll explore this place a bit," Whip said, deciding it was best to leave Ace while he thought of his humans. Whip turned to the stair case and began climbing it, not sure what she would find at the end of it.

Ace

"okay I'm sure we'll run into each again", he wasn't going to go up stairs just yet it would only remind him of his humans. Not that being here didn't already, he went to another room it was a place where the humans had played games. He sat down looking at a table, it was one his human played with it was called pool. He laid down just staring at it, he knew he probably should mope about them being gone but something he couldn't help it.

Spruce:

Spruce opened one eye irritably. "Okay, he can do that." she mumbled, dozing back off. She refused to find a family again- Colt was the only friend she wanted. She didn't really consider him a 'friend', just someone to look out for. Because she didn't want him to get hurt.

Quincy
Quincy smiled and went back inside, enjoying looking at the young cat sleep. He liked Colt, a lot. He was like a pup, but he was a cat. Miss Q would be proud of him. He wagged his tail quietly. Maybe someday he would feel like a father or favorite uncle, possibly a big brother to Colt. That's how much he liked the little cat. He grinned as a thought popped into his head. His depression hadn't popped up ever since Colt had arrived.

Colt:

Colt yawned, standing up and stretching. Quincy had just come back. Quincy was a nice dog, Colt decided, and he could trust him fully. However, he didn't know how Spruce would react to this friendship. She seemed to trust no one.

Levi

Levi smiled and placed his toy in the bowl. "I can do that." He picked up the other end of the bed with Karma. "I think we are all set now," he said with a mouthful of the bed. Although he wasn't ready to admit it, he actually enjoyed their company today. He hadn't socialized with anyone since the humans left. It was all just so overwhelming to him. Overwhelming is an understatement.

Bailey
She smiled and wagged her tail, leading the way out the door, going slow enough for Karma and Levi. She had enjoyed today. She was curious about where Levi lived, and how Karma got along. Karma had never had a human she called her own, and Bailey felt bad for her. Though Man wasn't always the nicest human, he was hers. She looked back at her new friends. She liked having them as friends.

Quincy
Quincy smiled as Colt stirred. "It's getting dark. Maybe you and Spruce should head to where you sleep? Feel free to come by anytime, I should be here." He wagged his tail at the cat. "I'll be sure to always have cat food in supply, the dry kind."
