Quincy
"Fresh kill? I'll stick with the dog food and table scraps, if you please," he retorted back, huffing as he dragged the huge bag while holding his new toy. He wondered if it was right to be so sour. "Sorry, just not used to not having my human." He apologized for his mood, and relapsed into thoughts of ventures into the store with Miss Q.

Crow

"Apology accepted, you are always welcome back to get more dog food, if you prefer." The big cat responded, hoping his response would help the dog's sour mood.
"It must be hard to adjust." He stated sympathetically.

Karma

Karma nodded "yea you should come, the ore the better" she looked to the house ha had gone to. She didn't see him though, "come on" she crossed the street to see if she could spot him. She looked back to Bailey, seeing if she followed.

Ace

Ace had heard about those races before, he never saw the point in it. All they did was run in a big circle, if they wanted to do that they could just chase their tails. He stopped walking when she asked if he had any humans, he did but he didn't like to talk about. But since she told him about hers, he saw that he would only be fair if he did the same. "I did, I protected them and their home. I guess you would've called be a guard dog" he thought of his human and how he loved them. " They where kind to me, we lived in a big house, they where my family", he fell silent after that and continued to walk.

Levi

Levi perked his ears at the sound of his name. The voices were familiar. He turned on his heels to see the pit bulls from earlier. He had only caught one name when he was leaving though. "Um, sure I guess. I was gonna go to the human food store too," he said to them. "I never actually caught your names."

Bailey
Bailey gave her tail a little wag, a bit apprehensive, but glad to be making friends. "I'm Bailey." She tilted her head at him, wondering what type of personality he had. She had mostly seen mean, aggressive dogs in her lifetime, but when she remembered puppy-hood she recalled different personalities.

Quincy
"Thank you. My owner had stocked up earlier this year, but I decided to take another bag while they were still here." He paused. "It is. I relied on her for everything, including friendship."

Karma

"And I'm Karma, where do you want to go first", she had never really thought of going to the human store just the pet store. It didn't really matter as to which one they went to first, just as long as they got something to eat. She began walking, stopping in the street and looking back at them.

Bailey
Bailey shook her head. She wasn't really okay with going into a human food store yet. She had just learned the humans were gone, after all. "Could we... could we avoid the human's food store for today, please? I just... I'm not comfortable with that yet." She gave a weak wag of her tail. "The pet store has toys, treats, and different food."

Levi

Levi tilted his head at Bailey's apprehension on going to the human food store. He brushed it off with a nod. "Pet store it is then," he said with a half smile. He his nose to the ground letting the dog tags clink on the concrete. He really had no reason to sniff at the ground, there was nothing new. He lifted his head and looked between Karma and Bailey, waiting for one to lead the way. He hadn't traveled to the pet store in so long.

Crow

"Well you take care. I am Crow, I'm sure I'll see you around again." The cat stated, stretching one last time before curling back up.
"You can always come find me if you need anything." he offered sleepily.

Karma

Karma nodded, she had a feeling as to why Bailey didn't want to go to the human store. "Come on, I know the way", she had passed the store a few times before and just never went in. She started walking keeping her pace at and easy trot, she wasn't really in any hurry to get there. That and she curios about Levi, "so Levi I'm guessing you had a human by the tags, what where they like". She liked to hear what other's humans where like, since she never had any to call her own.

Levi

Levi was suprised by the personal question directed at him. Is she trustworthy enough to tell her my entire backstory. Maybe I can be her the basics without her prying too much. He glanced at his dog tags and collar. "Yeah, he was my best friend." Levi missed his human and longed for him to return.

Bailey
Bailey followed at the back, listening to Karma and Levi. Best friend? She had never known a human like that. Yes, she was extremely loyal to Man, loved him... But what was a best friend in a human? "Uh..." She felt stupid even asking. "What is it like... Having a human who is your best friend?"

Quincy
Quincy nodded his thanks to the cat and continued to focus on heaving the big bag of food out. Finally, he got past the threshold and into the street. "Now a long ways to go," he murmured bitterly. Maybe he shouldn't have taken the food. Oh well, it would be gone in a week.

Levi

Levi cringed as Bailey asked a question this time. Dang it. He didn't want to be rude, but he felt like they already knew too much, even if it wasn't a lot. "I went just about everywhere with him. I was always at his side. Obviously not now."

Karma

Karma listened to what they where saying, "that would've been nice". At times she envied other dogs and there humans, now though she had no reason to. She could see the pet store coming into view, "look there it is" she was excited and ran forward. She loved the pet store, and was happy that they where going there first.

Levi

Levi quickened his pace as the pet store came into view. He used to always come here with his human for toys and treats. He pushed open the door and walked inside. Fresh scents of other dogs lingered in the building. No doubt the place was already raided. He trotted to the far wall where there were beef jerky sticks. His favorite. He took one and chewed on it and didn't leave crumbs.
