World Of Strays - Role Play-

Levi

Levi nodded and looked to where his home was. It was the next street over, right behind a pale blue house. His was a gray color. "It's the gray one over there," he said pointing in its direction. He loved that house. All of his stuff was there and his humans stuff too. I hope he comes back one day.

Karma

"It looks nice" she wasn't really sure what to say about house other then that, "so I'm taking that you'll sleep over there then". She was thinking that they could all sleep here, like a sleep over. She let out a yawn she was getting tired, she had ben walking almost all day just looking through the city.

Ace

Ace shook his head from the sound, it had been loud and he had standing right next to it. He looked at what had fallen, it was metal bowl. Whatever was inside was now all over the floor, he sniffed smelled sweet but he wasn't sure what it was.

Whip
Whip almost fell several times charging down the stairs. The crash had come from behind two metal doors. As she stuck her nose up to the crack between the doors, she could smell Ace. Oh, no, Whip thought, did another dog find this place and attack him? Avoiding the fact that this probably wasn't true, Whip forced the door open and stepped inside the room, remaining cautious for any other dogs or animals.

Colt & Spruce:

Colt blinked open his eyes, and noticed Spruce was getting up.
"Late-night hunting." was all she said as she slunk away, crawling under a holly bush and out of sight. She often hunted at night, while Colt was asleep. However, whenever he was awake when she left- like he was tonight -he got nervous. But he couldn't really do anything, so he sat up and looked around at the surrounding foliage.

Spruce caught a whiff of rabbit scent, and in no time found where it was coming from- a rabbit borrow. She waited as the rabbit slowly edged its way out of the hole. She pounced, killing it swiftly.

Bailey
Bailey cocked her head. "You lived that close?" She looked to his house. "It looks nice. Is your human's things there?" She liked to talk about Man, but she had a sense that Levi was a bit more quiet about his private life. She didn't want to probe, but she liked her new friends. She was about to wish she had met them before, but then she realized Man would probably have gotten in trouble. From what she'd heard, fighting wasn't a good thing. She hadn't known it at the time, fighting only to protect Man.

Levi

Levi nodded, "Yeah, everything he left behind." Levi hadn't touched the human things in the house unless it was food in which there is no more of. Everything is just the way it was left when his human had left. He looked up at the sky, watching the sun creep lower to the horizon. It was basically gone, not that he could tell that much with the clouds covering the sky. "I guess I should be going," he said as he stared at his house.

Karma

Karma didn't speck as Levi talked about his human stuff, she couldn't really relate to it. "It must get lonely there why not sleep here for the night, that's if you want", she wagged the tip of her tail. She thought the more they had here, the more fun it would be. She laid her head down looking to the yard, thing about the same thing that ran through her mind. Thinking of humans and how all other dogs where lucky to have one, she sighed and looked at Levi waiting for his answer half hoping he'd stay.

Ace

Ace looked up from the spill and saw the door swing open from the corner of his eyes, "is that you Whip". He looked to the door, though he couldn't see if anyone was inside because of the tables. He slowly headed to the door, his body tense and ready for anything. Though if it was another dog he wouldn't attack unless they attacked him, he didn't really much care for attacking other dogs.

Whip
"Yeah, it's me," Whip responded. "What happened? I heard a crash and I thought that it might have been another dog or a wild animal." She studied the room. A metal bowl lay on the ground with something that smelled sweet surrounding it. She couldn't smell anything else in the room, so Ace must have just knocked the bowl over.

Bailey
Bailey thought it slightly odd that Karma had invited Levi onto Man's porch, but then she though, Maybe that's what friends do. I wouldn't know, I've never had one. She nodded at Levi. "Yeah, you can stay here if you'd like. It'd be fun!"

Levi

Levi hesitated for a moment, unsure if he should accept their offer to stay with them for the night. The cold air hit him, penetrating his fur and making him shiver slightly when the wind started blowing. Maybe it might be better to stay with them for warmth tonight. He coat was thick and it wasn't all that cold, but it was the only reason he could sum up to even consider staying on the porch. "I, uh, I guess," he said finally with a wag of his tail.

Karma

Karma wagged her tail harder, making a loud thump on the porch as she did. She was glad that he said yes, "great it'll b like a sleep over then" she smiled. She let out another yawn trying to muffle it as she did, "sorry really tired I've been walking almost all day". There had really been a reason as to why she had walking around the city, it was just something she liked to do.

Ace

Ace relaxed after seeing that it was only Whip, he looked to the bowl. "I accidently knocked it over is all", he looked back to her "sorry if it scared you". He went back to the bowl, lowering his head he tasted what spilled form it. He licked his lips "it's not that bad though I'm not sure what it is", he looked back Whip once more "find anything upstairs".

(do you mind if it starts raining harder now? it's not a dangerous level yet, though)

Spruce:

As Spruce carried her catch back to Colt, rain started falling again. In no time, she was soaked, and it was hard to see more than a few feet in front of her.
Ugh. More rain. Storms and the night don't mix. she grumbled in her head.
Soggy, she dropped the rabbit at their little nest area and sat down beside Colt. Lightning flashed in the distance.

Whip
Whip nodded, relieved that it was Ace who knocked over the bowl. "Upstairs, the walls are lined with doors. Most of them are closed, but I found one that was open. There was a small metal box inside. It was full of food! I didn't check any other rooms, but they're probably the same."

Ace

Ace perked his ears up wagging his tail, he was glad to hear the room was still open. "I wouldn't be surprised if all the rest are closed", they might be able to open them. If he remembered right there should be a card that opens all the doors, though he wasn't sure how he would get to work if he even knew where it was. "well we won't have to worry about leaving food then", though he didn't like the idea of food being here others will come here looking for it.

Colt and Spruce:

The two cats chewed slowly on the drenched rabbit. Their fur was stuck to their pelts, they were so wet. The ground at their paws started getting slick, and puddles were forming here and there.
Spruce hissed under her breath. Colt flattened his ears to prevent the rain from getting in them. More lightning flashed nearby, and thunder boomed. Colt cringed.
"We'd better go." Spruce said urgently, jumping up. She left the half-eaten squirrel behind as she nudged Colt up.
"Where will we go?" he asked shakily, glancing warily at the sky.
"Your friend's house." Spruce answered flatly. She didn't much like that idea, but rain was pouring down harder. She suspected that those in houses could hear it on their rooftops... but a house would be safer than the woods.



(btw, I plan on them getting separated before they reach Quincy's house, js)
