Auberon
Auberon shrugged, then flopped down on the couch and closed his eyes. Part of him didn't want to fall asleep- he didn't exactly want to wake up feeling terrible again.

Kahlen 
Good. That's what I was going for.

Auberon
Auberon opened his eyes again, staring into infinity until his eyelids started dropping. He finally fell asleep.

Mason
 "They tend to do that," he muttered bitterly, resorting to eating his ice cream as a way to hold his tongue.

Margot
"So if we're not watching a movie what do you guys want to do instead?" Em asked, changing the subject. She grabbed a napkin from the little dispenser on the table and wiped the table where some melted ice cream had fallen before she could catch it.

Auberon
Auberon stayed asleep for a little bit, but his body protested and he woke up. Once again feeling like he was going to throw up. He groaned quietly and sat back up, rubbing his eyes.

Mason
 He finished off the top of his ice cream so that it was level with the top of the cone, shrugging. "I dunno. This is your nerdy little playdate, no?"

"Actually, Tim invited me over, and we're going to his house." Tim tossed his empty cup into the trashcan and shrugged. "Yeah, but I didn't invite the delinquent." "...Fair point. Anyway, I was just seeing if either of you had anything specific in mind. You guys vetoed the movie, and I don't really have any other ideas." 

Mason
 Mason turned to face Tim, a fake-offended expression on his face. "I'm hurt, Timothy. Really, truly hurt. I'll accept 'troubled kid', or even 'rebellious kid', or 'starving artist', or... Well, I can't think of anything else. But 'delinquent' pushes it a bit."

Margot
"Em, what's the definition?" "One sec." She pulled out her phone and typed the word into Google. After a moment she read the definition aloud. "'Showing or characterized by a tendency to commit crime, particularly minor crime.'" Tim looked up at Mason with a smirk. "It fits perfectly." Em slipped her phone back into her pocket and put the last bit of her waffle cone into her mouth. After swallowing, she reached for the napkins again, talking to Tim as she did so. "I think that works for you, too." She wiped off the table real quick and then curled the napkin into her palm to throw out later. "No way. I am a role model, a goody-two-shoes, and the epitome of well-behaved." Em laughed, the statement completely inaccurate.

 "How do you know I haven't killed a man?," he challenged good-naturedly, cocking his head to the side. "Or, on the contrary, how do you know I'm not trying to provide for my family? Surely you wouldn't call someone a delinquent if they have a good cause, no matter the definition of the word."

Margot
"I'd probably still call you a delinquent," Tim said with a shrug after thinking for a moment. "T doesn't really give people actual nicknames - he 'affectionately insults,'" Em explained. 

Auberon
"I have an extremely random question," Auberon mumbled, focusing on the ground.

Kahlen 
"Mhm?" Kahlen tilted her head in question. Denver will be home in like ten minutes.

Auberon
"Have you ever been chased about all night by the police?" Auberon asked, shrugging as if it was nothing. "Specifically a police that really wants to see you dead?"
