Ezhno
His eyes widened slightly behind the curtain of hair, and he turned just a smidge toward Auberon. "Have you been to Camp?" he asked quietly, heart rate spiking just a little with unwanted excitement.

Auberon
"Yeah," Auberon replied, shrugging. "Interesting place- the only real place I can call home though, so I've got that much at least."

Ezhno
Ezhno decided the conversation had been a tad boring. And seeing as this subject, too, would be woven with elements of a sob story, he came to the conclusion it was time to end the discussion. He returned to his initial stance, leaning back in his chair and studying his desk. I hope i didn't cause anything too severe to happen to the teacher. I assumed they spilled their coffee or something. 

Mason
 Mason had busied himself with writing down a few phrases on a piece of scrap paper, so he hadn't heard the majority of their conversation, which was probably a good thing. He tilted his head to the side, reexamining what he'd written. They don't all fit together, but a few of those could be of some use. Maybe I'll use them in a song eventually. The idea stung slightly, but he managed to push his memories and guilt aside. Creating music was one of the only ways he knew how to drown out his mind, and it was definitely the healthiest option out of the few. And yet, now, the idea of creating more songs under the name of Insurrection - the name of his old band - did nothing but hurt and keep him occupied for a couple hours a day. And it's not like I've even made much progress. Though, given my current situation, that's not surprising. I barely have enough room to think where I'm living right now.

Kahlen 
Kahlen had been following the conversation, racking her brain for auras similar to the one this kid was giving her. What is it?!

Auberon
The teacher finally came into the class, obviously a bit disorganized and stressed, although what about Auberon didn't know. His eyes followed her as she rushed about, concern etching them ever so lightly, but not enough to be noticeable.

Kahlen 
Kahlen was still studying Ezhno when the teacher came in. About time.

Ezhno
He glanced over at the girl, his gaze suddenly cutting to the floor as he remembered, last second, not to make eye contact. By the way she was looking at him, he guessed she was a demigod as well. He had met a couple kids who'd had a similar expression. "Goddess of misery and sadness," he said, matter-of-fact, facing the front once more. 

Kahlen 
"Thought so, but it's a bit more than that," Kahlen murmured, flipping to her math folder.

Ezhno
"Oh? Care to elaborate?" He glanced at the embarrassed teacher. Yes, he had passed her in the hall. So it must have been him, then. Oops.

Kahlen 
"No, not really." Kahlen paused before murmuring, "your aura is different."

Ezhno
"Hm," Ezhno hummed thoughtfully. "Another new one. Are you sure it's not just because of my parentage?" Ezhno listened to the math class with mild boredom. He had been through this class before, and even did well in it, but of course his father had thought it better that Ezhno redo this entire year. Ezhno was expected to be a stellar student, which meant straight A's, and if he failed in that he would be held back. Last year had been the first Ezhno had gotten B's and even a few C's, and his father had not been happy. Perfection is what the man expected constantly from Ezhno back then, and still expected. Ezhno, unfortunately, often was not in the mood to comply. Perfection wasn't really his style.

Auberon
Auberon looked back between Kahlen, Ezhno, and the teacher, trying to keep his protectiveness at bay.

Kahlen 
"If you weren't a demigod, you'd be undetectable," Kahlen replied, turning her attention to the lesson.

Ezhno
"That made almost no sense in relation to my question," he complained under his breath. He studied the teacher, trying to figure out what he had accidentally caused to happen to her.
