Ezhno
"Where did you -?" He shook his head and handed the notebook back. "If you're such a good multi-tasker, than explain."

Kahlen 
"Everyone gives off some sort of aura. Part of a demigod's is their parent's, and the other part is their mortal side, and sometimes there are things like voices in their head or weird presences that aren't supposed to be there. You have the first part, but not the second. The only time someone doesn't radiate some sort of power is when they're dead," Kahlen muttered as she resumed her notes.

Ezhno
"Woah. Dang, that's cool," Ezhno muttered under his breath. Yeah, I very much wish I had gotten something like that instead of my crappy traits. "I wouldn't radiate any power, as you put it, if I was dead. But I have one part, therefore I radiate some power, obviously." Ezhno thought a moment. "What are your theories so far?" 

Kahlen 
"It's not as fun as it sounds." Kahlen paused, considering the possibilities. "The only time I've- Katie," she breathed. "Katie... she's- you're-" 

Ezhno
He shrugged. "Never heard of her. You know, this is actually quite surprising when you take into account I've never had anything life threatening happen to me. My life has been relatively boring so far, unfortunately." 

Kahlen 
Kahlen shook her head. "You wouldn't know her. She's, um, dead."

Ezhno
"Oh." He wasn't really the best when it came to comforting people or even dealing with sadness in general (which was very irritating considering his "power") so Ezhno ended up just sitting there wordlessly. He went over the information he'd learned so far in his head, but he still had gaps and questions and things he was curious about. 

Kahlen 
"The only other person I've met with that kind of aura- well, technically there's two- is Katie, and she's dead."

Ezhno
"Well, as you can see, I am very much alive." 

Auberon
"Hmm... well that can change quickly," Auberon mumbled, lifting his head and smiling at the teacher.

Kahlen 
Kahlen started a new page in her notes. "Are you getting anything strange?" She asked Auberon quietly. He would be the one to tip the scales.

Mason
 He looked up at the board, realizing just then that the class had started. He reacted to that by writing another potential lyric on his piece of paper.

Auberon
"Physically?" Auberon asked, his tone low.

Kahlen 
"Like, 'this person shouldn't or isn't alive' kind of thing." I hope I'm not going crazy. But this is strange.

Auberon
Auberon stared at the desk quietly for a moment, his face a blank page. He finally tilted his head and blinked, though no expressions or emotions came into his eyes. "I guess it's... different..." he mumbled. He blinked a few more times and resumed his normal attributes. "Weird, but a normal kind of weird."
