Kahlen watched the principal walk away, trying not to glare at him. It was an instinctive reaction, at this point. Mess with Baker Boy, you get it. Why don't we think about the shocking and dangerous number of demigods in this room.

Auberon
Auberon rolled his eyes. "Mission accomplished."

Ezhno
Auberon's sudden rise in volume had startled him a little. The resulting action was... interesting. At this point Ezhno wasn't sure if what had just happened was due to Ezhno's bad-things vibe or the kid's own foolishness.

Kahlen 
Kahlen glanced at Auberon with a quizzical expression, then focused on Ezhno. This one is interesting.

Auberon
Auberon was trying to figure out why that had confused Kablen, then remember she had never actually been with him in school before. Oh, this is gonna be a long year...

Ezhno 
He sighed, running his hand through his hair so that it curtained the sides of his face and hid his eyes a little better. "Have you guys gotten a good enough look yet? I'd rather you ask questions then just sit there and stare. It's quite unsettling, you know." 

Auberon
"How are you doing?" Auberon asked, putting his elbows on the table and his chin on his hands, but looking at Ezhno's desk instead of the boy.

Ezhno
The unexpected question elicited a chuckle, Ezhno gave him that. "Pretty good, actually. I managed to dodge one of my father's lectures, so there's that."

"Well, that's good. I never was fortunate enough to dodge my father's lectures myself," Auberon replied.

Ezhno
"I rarely am. I can't remember the last time I was. I'm sure he's going to have an extra long one ready for when I get home." When I do. Especially because I'll definitely be home later then he would like. 

Auberon
"Yeah, parents can suck like that y'know," Auberon mumbled, his words coming out pretty mixed and confused. "Anyway, do you hve any siblings?"

Ezhno
"No. A good Google search could probably tell you what you want to know about my family. My father's sort of a local celebrity." These facts were spoken with an underlying bitterness. His father's CEO status was part of the reason he was such a... Ezhno didn't even know the right word to describe his father. One thing for sure - he acted all nice for the public, but that was definitely not the real Lucas.

Auberon
Auberon glanced up at the kid sympathetically, then looked back down at the desk he had been staring at. "I can't say I understand that, or should I say, your point of view... but I kind of understand having a sucky dad. Mine wasn't the best either."

Ezhno
"Yeah, well, it's life. That's how it goes sometimes." Ezhno wasn't too interested in the exchange of sob stories. By questions he had meant about basically anything other than his personal life. He hated talking about his father.

Auberon
"Hmmm... the life of a demigod," Auberon mumbled, looking around to see if anyone heard.
