Skye 
Skye went and closed the door, leaving it unlocked just in case, then sank into a chair. Breathe. She will be back. It's fine.

Ashwin
"Walk. Head for the back door." Ash hesitated, just as a test, and the gun was pressed harder into his temple. "I said walk, Ashwin!" Smirking, Ash strode forward. Because he was taller, and had longer legs, he easily started to outpace Gleip. "Slow down!" The gun left his head and Gleip screeched out a command to stop. Ash did so, turning around to see Gleip aiming the gun straight at him. Ash moved quickly, and before Gleip could even respond to Ash's sudden dash the gun was knocked out of his hand and Gleip was sent to the floor. Ash pinned him down and pulled out his transmitter, giving a quick report. Ash yanked Gleip into a standing position and slapped cuffs on him. "You could have just stayed out of trouble, Gleip." Gleip didn't reply, glaring at Ash with raw hatred. Ash shrugged. "I'm just doing my job, bud." He heard people arrive and handed the criminal over to them. He wasn't in the mood to go trekking around town again. Ash did a quick walkthrough of his house, locking doors and windows and checking shadowy corners and possible hiding spaces. It was all clear. He would seriously have to invest in some security. He walked into his lounge and flopped into a chair.

Nyla
Jonah tugged on her arm, leading her back through the house. "I have something super cool to show you! Come on!" Nyla followed, giggling, and almost ran into him when he came to an abrupt halt outside a closet. He opened the door and dropped to his hands and knees, crawling inside. "Come on, Nyla!" She followed him, and once inside Jonah pulled the door closed and flicked on the light. "Look." He pointed to a small child-size door hidden in the back. "I have a secret room. It's really awesome. I'm the only one who knows about it, but since you're going to be my sister you can know about it too. Let's go inside!" Jonah flung open the door and crawled through. Nyla went after him, closing the door behind her. The small door opened up into a little room, tall enough for them to stand and with room for growth. Pillows and toys, a couple books, and a lamp decorated the room. There was a big beanbag in one corner and the two jumped onto it.

Skye
Skye couldn't sit down for very long. She jumped up and started to pace, then started to search the entire place three times over. Nothing.

Ashwin
He sighed and stood up. Resting was pointless when he was worrying. He headed out, locking his door. He would get some security guys out here to work. Ash headed to the business part of town and stopped in a store, commissioning some workers. They headed over immediately after hearing about the incident. Ash thanked them and then headed to the market district. He stopped in a bakery and picked up a couple cream puffs. Cream puffs were his favorite, and he sometimes treated himself to them. He tried not to do so too often, as he needed to stay healthy, but today was a day for a cream puff. He headed to where Skye's house was and knocked on the door.

Skye jumped when she heard the knock. "Door's unlocked," she called, turned away from it as she continued her search.

Ashwin
He opened the door and closed it behind him, glancing around the inside curiously. "Hi. I was wondering if you'd like a cream puff?" Saying it out loud made him realize how ridiculous it sounded and Ash found himself a little embarrassed. He could have gone to the park or something, or even just sat in his house and tried to stay out of the workers' way.

Outlaw 
She watched with interest as some police led Gleip past. What had he done now? Somethin rash obviously, that was his norm. Most of them didn’t know her, but from careful observation she had come to know all of the ones against the head and several of the guards as well. She went back to her carving but watched the forbidden zone carefully. 

Skye 
Skye stopped what she was doing. "Oh- sure." Take a break.

Ashwin
"Where should I put them?" He opened the box slightly and peeked at the cream puffs inside. The bakery he always went to for the treat made some of the best cream puffs he had ever tasted. They also made ones with chocolate cream, but he preferred the traditional whipped cream. 

Skye 
Skye gestured to a table against one of the walls. Breathe.

Ashwin
He nodded and set the box down. He opened it fully and selected one of them. "These are the best ones in the city, by the way." He tossed her a grin and then bit into his. The flavor of the eggy dough and the sweet cream flooded his mouth and he couldn't help but give a small hum of pleasure. He chose a chair and carefully sat down, hoping that was alright with her.

Skye 
Out of sheer curiosity, Skye tried one of the cream puffs. It was surprisingly delicious. "I'm not one for pastries," Skye said once she'd finished, "but these are pretty good." Skye glanced toward the door, irrationally hoping that Sylvia would walk through.

Ashwin

"I have a soft spot for pastries - especially cream puffs. I try not to eat them too often, though." He followed her gaze to the door and then returned his focus to his puff. His transmitter blurted an update on Gleip having safely been transported to the questioning block, followed by a question asking Ash if he would want to press for more severe punishment than simple jail time. Ash unclipped his transmitter to reply. "No. He's already angry at me, I'd rather not make it worse." With that he put the communicator back on his belt and finished off his pastry.

Skye 
Skye noticed the message and studied Ash. "You okay?"

He glanced up, having just finished the cream puff. His hands were a little sticky. "Yeah, I'm fine. An old friend of mind decided to pay me a visit today."
