As the sun rose once more, another night had passed in the city...

Jacob
Jacob stared up at his ceiling from his bed, listening to the ticking of his clock. It wasn't often that he'd wake up before his alarm, but when he did, there was no falling back to sleep. He signed and sat up. He picked up his communicator and scrolled through his messages.

Skye
Skye blinked a few times and groaned as she sat up in bed. She must have slept on her right side again, because that entire side of her body was sore. Reluctantly, she dragged herself out of bed and walked into an empty kitchen/living room. There was a note from Sylvia. 

At Ben's. Something came up. I'll come home with lunch.

She rubbed one eye with her palm as she watched the rays of sun slip through the streets, advancing after the last retreating battalions of shadows until only a select few shadowy spots remained, the wall under which she sat being one. Another sleepless night.. it was really getting to be annoying, but she was just too wound up in the closed in walls of the city to sleep or relax. She munched on a strip of deer jerky as she sat simply listening to the sleepy stirrings around the city and contemplated her next move to get out of the city.

Jacob
Jacob's alarm finally went off and he headed to get dressed.

Jackie
Jackie checked for anything new on the site forum and headed out. Now that she had connections, she could finally start putting her plan in motion.

Outlaw
She ran a hand through her long hair tiredly before tucking it behind her shirt again. She sighed softly. She was running low on supplies, but doing anything like going shops was risky being that she was on the wanted list, even though they didn't have a good description of her or a name. She rubbed her eyes again tiredly, wishing she was out of the city already.

Skye
Skye moved the note and started to make breakfast. After a quick meal and a cup of warm tea, she changed clothes and headed out. To do what, she wasn't sure.

She sighed and pulled herself to her feet, wishing there was someway to cover the dark shadows under eyes and the remaining evidence of her last black eye and bloody nose. She settled for pulling her hat lower on her head, casting her face in a shadow, and made her way to the main streets, where she calmly strolled along the street towards one of the stores, her casual manner blending her in with the crowd.

Skye
Skye went walking down her street. On her way, she passed little Hayden Johnson on his way to school. She smiled at him and walked with him for a little bit. Then, she took a left and he took a right. Skye found herself in another alley neighborhood

She entered the store, which had just opened, and quietly got the few supplies she needed, paid for them, and walked out calmly, acutely aware of the store owner's gaze watching her carefully as she exited. She walked along the main street a little longer then slipped down a side alley and began to weave her way through the maze of back roads and alleys to get to her hide out.
