Jade
She shook her head. Seeing Alex's stupid grin again made her wonder whether their suspicions were valid. "I trust you, and you could be right," she said to Kahlen. "But, well, I'm having a hard time believing it. 'Innocent until proven guilty,' as it goes." She shrugged, and suddenly Katie was standing, an urgent look on her face. She had seen her whisper to Kahlen, and while one part of her was a bit upset that they didn't include her, the other part was glad she didn't have to hear more of their suspicions. And then Kahlen and Katie were hurrying off. She stood and looked at Eudora with a small grin. "Things are complicated here." She did sarcastic jazz hands [trust me, it can be done]. "Here in Camp Half-Blood, the fate of the world rests on a group of kids while the freaking gods are in turmoil!" She laughed a little, then hurried toward where Alex had gone.

Ethel
 She sighed loudly as she heaved herself off of the pegasus, trying her best to steady her breathing. Despite her efforts, her face was still flushed as she strode up to the group at the pavilion.
 "Greetings everyone. Has the game started? I was, ah, busy."

James
 James rubbed the donkey's forehead before allowing his mount to go off on his own while he played capture-the-flag. Jack leaned into the boy's touch for a moment before wiping the temporary donkey bliss off of his face and moseying away, swatting James with his short tail. James laughed before turning and walking the rest of the way to the pavilion. He noticed Ethel blushing, and was confused as to why at first, but then the realization hit him like a truck. He mentally smacked himself as he trudged up to Katie, sighing dejectedly as she got up and walked away.

Eudora
Eudora sighed loudly, trying to get someone's attention so she could figure out what was going on. 

Kahlen 
"What is it, Katie?"

When they were outside the pavillion, Katie spun on a dime and faced Kahlen with an almost unreadable expression on her face. "Does Alex know where we're supposed to be going for our quest?"

Kahlen 
"I'm not sure. He might, but I don't want to take chances. Our quest is too risky at best, but we don't have much of a choice." Kahlen brushed her dark hair out of her face.

James
 The new girl's sigh caught his attention, so he turned to face her.
 "Hey, I'm James," he said, shooting her a pasted smile and holding out his hand. Am I being too friendly to these people? I have no idea what's considered too friendly, considering I usually don't interact with many people. Oh well. It can't hurt to be nice, I guess.

Eudora
Eudora looked at him and shook his hand. "Hi, I'm Eudora."

Katie
Katie shook her head frustratedly. "No, no, what I mean is, is that where Alex is going as well?"

Kahlen 
"It could be..." She cocked her head. "Why?"

James
 Small talk seemed like a good idea to him (for unknown reasons), so he opted to try to strike up a conversation with Eudora.
 "So, you're going on the quest, right? Are you part of the prophecy or just tagging along?"

Eudora
Eudoda looked at the ground. "Uh- I don't really know." She said awkwardly. "I mean I hope I am."

Bobby
Bobby was still sitting among the plants, playing song after song on his flute. Finally, he stopped. He stood, putting his hands on the ground to propel himself upward. He brushed the loose dirt off on his fur. Turning and looking toward the mess hall, he debated going up there. Bobby shook his head. Ethel had been in such a hurry to leave, she probably didn't want him up there, if that's where she was. He trotted out of the strawberry field and stood right on it's edge, where the soil was still soft. He ran along the edge until he reached the very end. Sifting through his pockets, Bobby finally found what he was looking for. A tiny plant, growing in a tiny pot. He pulled it out and smiled at it. It was a small rose bush. He gently shook it from its potted restraints, dug a small hole, and planted it. He hoped it would be big by the time he returned from his quest.

Katie
"Didn't you say you'd thought he'd left?" Katie whispered furiously, her eyes alight with the thought of solving their fellow campers mystery. "If where he's going is the same as where we're going, he probably hasn't left yet because he doesn't know where to go. He might get Jade to tell him."

Alex
"So, capture the flag, huh?" Alex laughed to Jade as Kaylee chose a plate and cup from the main table, taking it to a nearby camper table and sitting, smiling, satisfied as a sandwich and orange juice filled her crockery.

Jade
She shrugged. "I guess. Apparently we use actual weapons, but killing and maiming aren't allowed." She grinned at him. "If we're on opposite teams, I'm going to totally destroy you." Her hand drifted on its own to the belt that held her sword.
