Greek Mythology Roleplay

Jade
Jade collapsed into giggles, having to stop from lack of breath. She let out a contented sigh. How in the world could Alex possibly be evil? With the comfortable weight of his arm around her, Jade couldn't help but think of her friends' doubts about him. She shoved the thoughts from her mind, and when she came back to the real world, she noticed Noah slide down next to her. She smiled at him. "Well, hi," she said, wondering what he was doing. 

Kahlen 
"Maybe... I'll keep an eye on him as much as possible during capture the flag. If he disappears, I'll try and follow him. Other than that, there's not much we can do." Kahlen put a hand on her locket. "Worst case scenario, he leaves, and we follow as soon as possible." She took a deep breath. "Thanks for being on my side. It's nice knowing someone else doesn't think I'm crazy."

Alex
Alex grip on Jade tightened a little, but apart from that, his relaxed grin remained on his face. "Hey, Noah." He said, easily. Alex could almost tell exactly why Noah had come over.

Katie
Katie nodded. "Okay." She listened to Kahlen finish talking, before replying. "Hey, it's no problem. I'd say we're all a little crazy here.

Jade
Alex's hand held hers tighter, and Jade turned her head and smiled at him. Noah broke the silence. "I saw you flying on Tod earlier, Jade. Your riding form is almost perfect, and it seemed like you were quite at ease. How'd you pick it up so quickly? And Tod-" Noah whistled. "That guy rarely lets anyone ride him. He's got some personality, huh?" Jade grinned. "Tod's great. He thinks he's my personal body-guard." Noah grinned in return and ran his hand through his hair before letting it fall smoothly onto Jade's knee. She flinched slightly. 

(OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHATS GONNA HAPPEN)

Alex
Alex watched Noah try and make a move on Jade (and fail, horribly), and he didn't react when Noah put his hand on her. Jade didn't need Alex to deal with somehing like this, she could definitely handle herself. (Ya she'll beat both of you up alex) Alex gave her a reassuring little squeeze, smiling at her.

Jade
She glanced briefly at Alex and returned the squeeze. She took her other hand and carefully wrapped it around Noah's wrist, lifting his hand off her knee and putting it on his own lap. She let go and leaned into Alex a little more. "Noah," she said with a sigh, "I told you earlier not to grab my hand, and now I should probably make myself more clear. I'd love to be your friend, but please stop doing... this." She waved her hand vaguely. Noah just grinned. "Okay, sorry. I have a sister back home - mortal, mind you - and so I'm used to doing that kind of stuff. I won't anymore, I promise." He shot Alex a glare when Jade turned and looked out briefly toward the horizon, but the hard look vanished when she returned her gaze back inside the mess hall.

Alex 
You're used to disrespecting your sister? Alex wanted to snap, but held his tongue, nosing gently into Jade's hair, little tiredly. He ended up just snickering at Noah's glare - he honestly couldn't care less who Jade was friends with (genderwise, unlike other people), he just found it funny that they were pathetically trying to get with her.

Jade
She hummed with pleasure. "That feels good," she mumbled. Noah stood. "Well, see you around, Jade. Maybe you and me will be on a team for capture-the-flag." He smiled and bounced off. Jade let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding and wiggled deeper on the bench. "Well that was slightly awkward," she said with a giggle.

Alex
"What are you talking about? That was great! Just me, you...." Alex paused, grimacing. "And him." Alex half laughed, half mumbled into Jade's hair.

Jade
"You're an idiot," she laughed. She laughed so much more when he was around. Jade shifted her hand in Alex's, weaving her fingers among his. The camp had almost fully assembled for the game, and while Jade was excited to play and knew that they needed to leave on the quest soon, she would rather stay right here. No monsters, no suspicions, none of that. Just her and Alex.

Alex
Alex sighed, relaxed, face almost completely hidden from sight. He would cherish times like this while they lasted.... seeing as they wouldn't continue to last for long. And, even if both of them survived, Jade would want absolutely nothing to do with a traitor. 

Chiron
He trotted into the mess hall. Almost all of the campers were assembled. "Campers! We are going to play a game of capture the flag before the chosen heroes go on their quest! How could we send them off without them having played?" A loud cheer arose. "After all," Chiron said with a wry smile, "it's good battle and strategy practice." He had to hit his hoof on the stone to quite the campers. "Remember, no killing or maiming. Magic items allowed. Today those who are on the quest and their cabinmates will form one team, other cabins form the other, with the exception of Ares and Hecate." Ares cheered.

Jade
She winced when Chiron called them "heroes." She was just, well, just a kid, and this was already a lot to expect from her. She elbowed Alex with a grin when he was put on her team. "Ten bucks," she whispered. 

Alex
"I regret ever making a deal with you." Alex mumbled almost incoherently into Jade's hair, wrapping his other arm around her waist and giving her a squeeze, nuzzling into her neck before groaning, standing up and running a hand through his hair. "I gotta go find a weapon." He grinned. "See you in a bit?"

Jade
"You're just a sore loser," she giggled. If the small hug sent shivers down her spine [which it did], his breath against her neck sent an electric shock through her. She grinned up at him. "Yeah. I'm covered." Her hand rested on the hilt of her sword.

Alex
"Bragging much?" Alex smiled, turning to follow the other unarmed campers to the armory. "I'll meet you back here in five, alright?"
