Jade
She looked around the armory, her eyes falling on a celestial bronze sword. She hefted it, and it felt perfectly balanced. She found a sheath and buckled it around her waist. "This one," she said with a grin at Bobby.

Katie
"Darkness....?" Katie murmured, and then raised her eyebrow a little when Kahlen dodged talking about who was causing the chaos. She'd make a mental note to talk to Kahlen privately, later, then.

Katie
Katie snatched a small knife from a cluttered table, twisted it around in her fingers boredly, then spun on a dime and in an instant, she had shoved it deep into the gut of a mannequin wearing a now-broken chestplate. "Cool." She grinned, flasging the others a smile as if she hadn't just become a knife weilding assailant in a split second.

Kahlen
Kahlen raised an eyebrow at Katie. She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. She tried not to think about their quest, about the Voice, or Alex. Unfortunately, her brain wanted her to remember every single detail about everything she had tried to forget.
A new memory flashed to life, as if her mind was intentionally trying to remind her of her past. Blond hair, deep green eyes, that smile... Go away, she told the memory. I have enough things to think about without... him.

Katie
"Yeah, you better watch out." Katie thought, gloating, although she wasn't quite sure who she was gloating at. She knew she seemed like somebody's little sister, somebody qho needed to protected, a simpleminded, weak, little kid, but she knew otherwise. She was dangerous. She was loyal. She was angry, and she never, ever backed down from a challenge.

-is Shannon even here right now? she seems like the type of person to spend all day in the armory so let's just go with that lol-
Ethel
Ethel knew that she should tell the group that she had lived rather close to where they were suppose to be going, but decided against it. They would most likely consider her to be suspicious, when really it was just a coincidence... she hoped.
She twirled her Swiss Army knife in her fingers, scanning the multitude of weapons in search of something that caught her eye. She'd had the pocket knife since she was twelve, but it wouldn't be very useful in a fight against an evil god... or a fight against most things, for that matter. She began digging around at the back of the armory, pushing aside dusty boxes and some damaged weapons that had been discarded. Her eyes rested on an old bronze dagger. It had signs of wear all over it, but that was exactly what she had been looking for: a weapon with a story to tell.
"Hey, what's the deal with this?" Ethel called, motioning at Shannon to come over.
James
James didn't exactly know what he wanted, so he spent most of his time just walking around and messing with stuff. He eventually came across a set of knives, one steel and one bronze. They were small, light, and easy to use for a beginner like himself. The only weapons that he'd ever used were his slingshot and one time a baseball bat.
"Hey, um, Bobby? Is this good?" he called over his shoulder.

Katie
"A knife isn't gonna be much help...." Katie muttered to herself, pawing through a discarded weapons on the ground until-
She almost cried with joy, pulling out a bonze coloured baseball bat. "No way!" She whispered, testing the weight and holding the leather wrapped handle gently, like it could break at any moment. She gave it a couple test swings and grinned. "Perfect."
Shannon scampered over to Ethel, and winced when she saw the dagger, keeping her distance. "Oh... um.... I don't think you want that one...."

Bobby
He trotted over and glanced at the weapons, wincing. "The celestial bronze knife is good. But the steel one can hurt mortals as well, and that is frowned upon. It has been exploited wrongly before." He looked around and picked up another celestial bronze knife, handing it to James. "Here, this one matches the other. I would advise not using a steel knife."
Jade
She liked the feel of the sword in its sheath. She pulled it out again and admired the craftsmanship. Not that she knew anything about craftsmanship, but... The celestial bronze sword was lightweight, fitting perfect in her palm and with a balanced swing. Something about it felt right in her hand. It glinted in the lighting, and she slipped it back into its sheath around her waist and walked outside the armory to wait for the others.

Ethel
"When you say it like that, it makes me want it even more. Spill. What's the story behind this thing?" Ethel asked, turning the dagger in her hand and getting a good look at it. It was far less shiny and eye-catching than the other weapons in the room, but it looked pretty deadly.
James
He took the knife and thanked Bobby, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he might end up needing the steel knife at one point. He placed the bronze knives in their sheathes and fastened them around his waist, but slipped the steel knife into his backpack when no one was looking. He wrapped it in the hotel t-shirt so that it didn't end up poking him.

Kahlen
As everyone was picking out weapons, Kahlen slipped outside to see if Alex had left yet. Surprisingly, she ran into her brother. "Denver! Hey... Have you seen Alex anywhere?" He shook his head, mystified. "Oh! Andwhile I'm gone, can you keep an eye on Alex, and the Hecate cabin?" He nodded. "I'll try to." He hugged Kahlen. "Be safe, and don't worry about me." She nodded. This would be her first trip without her twin.

Lena
Lena had woken up and packed up her backpack. She had followed everyone and was looking at all the weapons. She looked at the swords and daggers and decided against them. She figured that it would probably be a good idea to take a bow, as she had taken a liking to them last summer. Picking up a pretty golden bow, and a quiver, she smiled at the weight. Suddenly she realized everything seemed to be a little brighter than before. She looked up to see the symbol above her head.

Katie
Shannon started at Ethel, realizing that she was deadly serious. "Please." Shannon, whimpered, refusing to look at the dagger. "Not that one." She cast a frenzied, helpless look at Katie, who cursed under her breath - Shannon was hyperventilating and looked like she was either going to break down or pass out. "Come on, Shan." She cooed gently, taking her friend's hand and leading her outside, mouthing "I'll be right back."

Kahlen
As Kahlen entered the forge, she saw the sign glowing above a girl's head- the same sign that had marked her and her brother as children of Apollo. Apparently, she had a sister. "Welcome to the Apollo cabin," she said, moving to stand closer to her.

Ethel
"What was that about?" Ethel asked no one in particular. She wondered if Shannon had some kind of personal connection to the blade, but that was unlikely, considering it looked like it had been pushed aside for years. Who knows, quite honestly. But I'm taking this dagger. That's a fact.

Bobby
He watched Shannon with some concern, then glanced at the dagger Ethel held. He wasn't sure of the history behind it - he wasn't often in the armory - so he didn't understand Shannon's reaction. It seemed as if most everyone had a weapon, so he made sure they were all out of the armory before leading them to the strawberry fields. He looked at them all. "Thanks to some camp friends, we have very nice tents, so don't worry about that. They are extremely comfortable etc etc etc. So," he said, "suggestions on transportation?" He plucked a strawberry leaf off a plant very gently and chewed it, opening the discussion to the demigods.
Jade
She followed Bobby to the strawberry fields and thought about his question. Suddenly, she grinned. "Guys," she said, "what do you think about riding pegasi?" She looked around the group for opinions.
