Greek Mythology Roleplay

Jade
She woke just before dawn, the sun starting to streak the sky. Good, because right before dawn was when the stars weren't out, and it was completely dark. Jade shivered just thinking about it. She decided on dark blue, almost black, jeans and a light, lavender purple T-shirt. She brushed out her caramel brown hair and decided to leave it down today. This is going to annoy me later, she thought with a smirk as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. She tucked it behind her ear and set out toward the Big House.

Bobby
He had slept in just enough to get a little more sleep, but still have time to get ready. Not that he had much to do. Bobby ate a quick breakfast of strawberry leaves that he had tucked into one of his pockets the night before. He pulled on an orange Camp Half-Blood shirt and then his ever-present, full-zip light gray hoodie. He left it unzipped for easy access into the many pockets sewn onto the inside. He sat under a tree and played a few short tunes on his flute to settle his nerves before walking leisurely toward the Big House, humming one of his favorite ballads.

Katie
"-and this is where you're allowed to choose a weapon from!" Shannon exclaimed with a smile, her pearly white teeth and blonde hair glinting in the morning light. "Wait.... so I can choose anything from in here?" Katie asked, admiring all of the weapons but not touching. The two girls had come out earlier in the morning after Katie had gotten changed into a camp half blood shirt, a pair of denim shorts and her reliable leather jacket. "Yep! That's where I got Nightfall from." Shannon pat fondly at her weapon a long jagged blade crafted from dark material that hung at her waist, a sword that was just about as big as she was. "Hmm..." Katie looked through the weapons, deciding.


Alex
After brushing Kaylee's hair, and promising to teach her some more magic when he got back, Alex had packed his things into a backpack Floyd had gifted him, one that would appear when he needed it, Alex had said his goodbyes, preparing to slip off into the shadows after saying a goodbye to Jade, who wouldn't question it seeing as she thought she was the only one leaving. He headed to the big house, figuring she'd probably be there.

Kahlen 
Kahlen saw Alex heading toward the big house. She waited until he got a bit closer, then called, "You look busy," raising an eyebrow.

Jade
She arrived at the Big House and saw Kahlen on a rock. She headed her way. "Hey, I never really thanked you for helping me out. Yesterday, when I was pinned down..." She didn't really remember much, but she did know Kahlen had been there, trying to get the Voice to leave her alone. Jade shrugged. "So, yeah. Thanks." She smiled at Kahlen, and then sat on the Big House steps. Shortly after, she saw Alex coming. She smiled at him, but Kahlen spoke, so Jade didn't say anything yet.

Bobby
He arrived at the Big House, noting Jade on the steps and Kahlen sitting on a rock. He waved to them, clopped up the stairs, and disappeared inside. Satyr privileges.

Kahlen 
Kahlen looked at Jade. "No problem. Glad I did," she replied.

Alex
Alex grinned. "Just coming to say goodbye and good luck to you guys - Ava has promised me a race up the lava wall, and there's no way I'm losing to her."

Kahlen 
Saying goodbye because you're leaving too, more like, she thought. Alex was a tricky one, but Kahlen had him figured out. Just you wait, Alex. One day I'll call you out and there'll be nothing you could do or say to wriggle out of it.

Jade
She stood from the steps and walked over to Alex. She grinned at him, and before she could tell herself that it was a bad idea, she pulled him into a hug. For a second she just held him. "Don't forget your promise," she whispered in his ear. 

Alex
"I won't." Alex murmured, wrapping his arms around her. "But like, don't die or anything, okay? Because that would suck." He laughed.

Jade
She laughed. "I won't. And don't forget that you can only use the sea shell once, so save it for an emergency." She let herself just enjoy the warmth of being pressed against him for a few seconds more, than pulled back. "Five bucks Ava will beat you," she said, eyes sparkling.

Kahlen 
Kahlen watched them out of the corner of her eye. Breaking her suspicions to Jade would be crushing for the girl.  But eventually she had to know. It wasn't like this was something to brush off. Alex was potentially dangerous, but so was Kahlen. Kahlen knew it would eventually come down to a battle of wills and wit, but she was prepared.

Alex
Alex scoffed, almost offended. "As if. Ten bucks and another night on the beach says otherwise, Jade." Yes, Alex had packed the seashell - he had made Ava wrap it in magic to keep it safe.

Kahlen 
Kahlen fingered her locket. She wondered what was inside, so she opened it. Inside was a small note. Her eyes widened and she glanced quickly at Alex, closing the locket. 

Ethel
 Ethel reached the Big House and leaned against the building.
 "The gang's all here," she mused aloud, her gaze sweeping the group. She had eaten a granola bar and nothing else for breakfast thirty minutes ago, but her mind was too busy thinking about what was to come to be hungry.

James
 James grabbed his backpack and raced out of the cabin, slamming the door shut behind him. He heard someone angrily yell about trying to sleep, but he didn't stop to apologize. Once he was halfway to the Big House, he slowed to a walk, making sure that he had everything. His slingshot was in his back pocket and his ammo pouch was tied to his belt loop, like they usually were. He didn't want to leave them in his backpack in case he had to leave the pack somewhere for one reason or another.
 Finishing the distance, he grinned at the group.
 "When do we leave?"

Kahlen 
Kahlen shrugged at the boy. "We're supposed to have a meeting with Chiron first," she said. She too, was eager to leave as soon as possible. If Alex disappeared before she could track him down... She shook her head.
