Greek Mythology Roleplay

Jade
She laughed. "Yeah, I guess." Wow, ambrosia worked quick. She swung her legs off the cot and shakily stood up. She yawned. "We should go find out what cabin we're staying in," she said in the middle of her yawn. She started to walk toward the infirmary door when a light seemed to shine above her. She furrowed her brow and looked up. Jade stumbled, catching herself. A shining green trident shimmered above her head. 

Bobby
He found Chiron thinking by the beach. They hurried back and entered the infirmary just in time to hear her words and see the symbol. Bobby stared and Chiron stepped forward to speak.

Alex
"Aw, Hermes cabin not to your standards already?" Alex laughed, adopting the kneeling pose that the others in the infirmary had taken up. Whispers of "A daughter of Poseidon?" Rippled through the little crowd of people. 

Jade
She grinned at Alex. "I guess not." Everyone in the room began to kneel, and Jade shifted nervously. She could hear the whispers. Grabbing Alex's arm, she tugged him to his feet. "This is so embarrassing," she whispered in his ear.

"Just pretend that you enjoy it." Alex snickered back, as Chiron cleared his throat. "Ah." He starts, as if this happened on the daily. "Poseidon, earthshaker, stormbringer, lord of horses." He dipped his head respectfully. "Hail Jade Harper, daughter of the sea god."

Jade
"Hi," she said to the room, waving her hand a little. "Uh... you guys can get on your feet now." She glanced around the room, seeing people's sideways looks as they returned to what they were doing. "Why are they doing that?"

Bobby
He knelt with the rest, looking up at Jade with wide eyes. When he stood, Chiron gave him some whispered instructions. Bobby nodded, and Chiron trotted away. 

Alex
Alex shifted down to the young boys height beside him, listening to him whisper furiously into Alex's ear, nodding with an "Ooooooh." Before he stood back up. "Because you're a powerful demigod. One of the big three's kids - Zues, Poseidon and Hades. 'pparently they're rare."

Jade
She shook her head and walked outside, motioning for Alex to follow. She didn't want to say this in the midst of so many people. "I'm not powerful," she finally replied. "The Voice was able to control me easily. I can't even keep my friends from getting hurt." She glanced at his knee, but her tone suggested she was talking about more. She shook her head again and leaned on the wall. "I have a feeling I'm just going to be a big disappointment," she mumbled.

Alex
"Jade...." Alex began, but changed what he was going to say. He took Jade's hand with a smile, pulling her off of the wall ans closer to him, gently placing his free hand under her chin and lifting her head so she had to look at him. "Look, being a demigod isn't easy. Never has been, never will. But not many of us go toe to toe with a possessing god and live to tell the tale - and yet, here you are! Nobody's hurt, and we're all going to be okay."

Lena


Lena got out of the car, her mom had driven her non stop to get to camp. She had been on a vacation when she got attacked by a harpy. Her mom, knowing what to do, had packed them up and flew home. Lena's mother smiled sadly at her and told her to hurry. Lena nodded and walked away, carrying her backpack. She walked up the hill and saw the chaos in front of her. She laughed and started to walk over to the other campers.

Ethel
 Ethel slowly started walking to the rec room, her thoughts troubled. The way that the Voice had said her name... it scared her. She'd rather it have said what it thought about her instead of leaving her to guess. Movement at the top of the hill caught her eye, and she panicked momentarily, thinking that it was the chimera. She quickly realized that it was a person, not a monster... probably. She watched as the person crested the hill.

James
 He was paying attention to the girl on the hill instead of his immediate surroundings, and as a result he ran into Ethel. Muttering a quick apology, he diverted from his goal of reaching the rec room and instead began the hike up the hill.
 "Uh, hi. Who are you?" he greeted the girl.

Denver 
He gently shook his sister awake. "I think we should find our cabin now," he said. She nodded and stood up, leaning on him a little. When they found the Apollo cabin, he knocked on the door. It was answered by a boy with a guitar strapped to his back. "New kids?" He said. "Welcome to our cabin." 
Kahlen 
Kahlen and Denver stepped inside. It was a nice, roomy  place, with bunk beds against two walls, and a bathroom in the back. On each bed, nicely folded, were orange Camp Halfblood t-shirts and jeans. "I'm Denver, and this is Kahlen, my twin sister," her brother said. 

Jade
She scanned his blue eyes and saw nothing but sincerity. Her hand in his made her feel safer, for some reason. Jade's eyes swam with different shades of green, like the emotions inside her. She let out a shaky breath, and suddenly her exhaustion caught up with her. "Let's go to my cabin," she mumbled, and took a step away from him. With her fingers still entwined in Alex's, she walked toward the cabins. Bobby came out and led her to the Poseidon cabin, where she chose a bed and collapsed onto it, instantly asleep.

Kahlen 
Kahlen could see everyone watching them. She watched them just as intensely. "Welcome to the Apollo cabin," said one girl. "I'm Iris, this is Wayne, and..." Iris went on naming everyone. Finally, she finished. "Those two bunks are open," she said. Kahlen nodded and sat on the bottom. Her brother stood next to her. The tension broken, the rest of the Apollo kids went along with their day.
