Greek Mythology Roleplay

Alex
Alex gave a little smile. "G'night, Jade." He murmured, leaving her cabin quietly. He already knew that it was foolish to get close to Jade, (seeing as he knew exactly how this was going to pan out) but he couldn't care less. She was.... magnetic, you could say. Attractive in more ways than one, and Alex could only hope she would be spared at the end.

Kahlen 
Kahlen sighed and got up. "I'm going to take a walk," she told Denver, leaving the cabin. She stared at the ground as she thought. What is going on? Why can I sense things others can't? Why- She cut herself off as she saw Alex at what she assumed was Jade's cabin. She frowned slightly. There was something off about him. 

Alex 
Alex froze a bit as soneone bumped ib2to him but he needent worry - it was only the kid who he had been talking to before. "Hey! Are you in the Hermes cabin with me?" The kid squirmed excitedly. "Yeah, seems I am." Alex laughed, ruffling the kids hair. "Can you help me find my sister?" The kid paused, pursing his lips. "My name's Nathan! What's yours?" 
"I'm Alex." Alex grinned, nodding towards the Hermes cabin where a girl was waving. "Let's go find your sister, yeah?" As they were walking, Alex caught a glimpse of Kahlen and waved with a smile, continuing to listen to Nathan talk.

Kahlen 
Kahlen saw Alex wave at her and stopped. She shook her head. Alex was a good kid. She pushed all her suspicious thoughts to the back of her head and kept walking.

Jade
She drifted into sleep, and at first she was having her typical dreams. She dreamt of her mother and her hiking and camping, with all the weird twists that the dream always had. The dream faded, replaced instead by total black. Jade panicked inside the dream. Light flicked on, and at first she was relieved. She blinked and then peered at what the light illuminated. There was a figure huddled on the floor, bloody and beaten. Jade stepped forward to see who it was, but found she couldn't move. She looked down. Shackles attached her to the floor that was barely illuminated. The figure moved slightly, and she returned her gaze to it. Its head moved, and she saw its face. It was Joshua. She fought against the shackles that kept her where she was, calling out to him. "Your worst fears..." Jade woke with a start, sitting up in bed and breathing hard. She knew this wasn't one of the Voice's visions. It felt different, despite the fact that the Voice spoke. She swung her legs out of the bed. She wouldn't be able to sleep now. She rubbed at her eyes and looked around the room. It faintly smelled of the sea. The walls glowed like abalone, and the ceiling was decorated with some sort of bronze creature. She stood and made her way to the door.

Kahlen 
Kahlen was sitting on the edge of the dock when she was startled by Chiron standing next to her. "Hello Kahlen, daughter of Apollo. What seems to be troubling you?" He said in a deep voice, looking out over the lake.

Kahlen 
Kahlen sighed. " This is going to sound ridiculously crazy, but... I can sense... presences, I guess." She shook her head. "We were going on the tour by the forge and I felt like something was watching me. I turned around and something was controlling Jade. I knew it was there even before it spoke." She opted not to tell him about her suspicions concerning Jade and Alex for the time being. She felt she needed to know something more before explaining that. Chiron nodded and stroked his chin thoughtfully. "I think you may have the gift of prophecy, from your father of course. It's not a very common strength Apollo passes on to his children. And this ability of yours to sense presences... I think you may be an extraordinary one of Apollo's children, my dear." 
Kahlen shook her head. "Why me? I didn't ask for anything. I don't want to be special." She muttered. "Who knows? Someday you'll find out. In the meantime, I think you should go over to the armory." He handed her a note. "Give this to one of the demigods there." He turned and cantered away.

Jade
Her eyes drifted over the camp, and she saw the stables. With a shrug, she headed that direction. She had always liked horses for the most part. When she arrived, a dark brown horse stuck its head over one of the stall doors. She walked over and gave it a pat, peering in. She jumped back. Woah, okay. Pegasus, not horse. "Of course I'm a pegasus, what did you think?" She furrowed her brow. Did you just... talk? The pegasus huffed, irritated. "Yeah, you're a daughter of Poseidon. I can talk to you." Jade stared at it. This was really weird. Um, okay. A kid walked over. "Hi! That's Tod. He can be a bit moody." "Who are you calling moody?!" The pegasus stamped his hooves. "Give me some carrots or I'll bite your fingers." Jade laughed. "He wants you to give him carrots to make up for that." The kid's eyes widened. "Are you the Poseidon kid?" he asked. Jade looked at Tod instead of the kid. Word really spread fast here. "Yeah, I guess." The boy grinned. "That's pretty sick. My name's Noah, what's yours?" Jade smiled. "I'm Jade." "Where are those carrots?!" Jade tilted her head toward the angry horse. "You might want to give him some compensation before he blows," she laughed. Noah laughed with her, pulling a carrot from his pocket and offering it to the liver chestnut.

Alex
Alex made his way to the top of the hill, watching the sunset. As the reds and yellows bled into the sky, Alex was more excited about the dark than anything else. He couldn't wait to show Jade the stars - well, what was left of them anyways. Maybe he could even show her some magic? It had been a while since he'd used his powers and he needed to keep training them.

Jade
She gave the pegasus a pat, much to his chagrin. She glanced at Noah. "Uh, could I -" "Ride him? Oh yeah! I can show you the ropes." Noah eagerly opened the stall door and stepped in, blocking Tod from coming out. Jade followed and closed the door. Noah jumped onto the equine's back and held his hand out. Jade took it and hoisted herself up onto the pegasus' back. "Ugh," Tod complained, "You guys are heavy." Noah unlatched the door with his foot and gave Tod a light kick. "Hold on," Noah warned. Tod shot into the sky, and Jade almost fell off. She quickly grabbed Noah and held tight as the pegasus climbed higher. Jade grinned, laughing. This was awesome! The sky was absolutely stunning from up here, Tod's dark wings beating rhythmically. They flew over the whole camp once, Noah explaining what to do. Noah had him land outside the stables. "We could go longer sometime later, but it's almost dinner." He walked Tod into his stall and they dismounted. "That was amazing," Jade breathed, following Noah out of the stall. She rubbed Tod's nose, deciding not to comment on the pleased hum he made. He would probably be indignant if she did. The thought made her grin, and she ran to where Noah was walking ahead of her. She scanned the area, looking for Alex. She wasn't sure where he or anyone else had gone after she woke in the infirmary.

Kahlen 
Kahlen headed to the forge. She gave one of the kids a note. He looked up at her and back at the note. She seemed like the kind of person who could be very dangerous with a weapon in her hand, but Chiron had sent her, so.... He left and came back with a locket. "Chiron's note said to give you this. It looks like a locket when you wear it, but if you take it off and think of the weapon you need, it'll morph into that weapon. David made it before he.... died. Anyway, Chiron said you should have it." He handed her the locket. "Thanks," she said, putting it on. She turned and left. In the sky she could see the rainbow of sunset beginning to appear.

Katie
Katie was hanging out with some of the other campers, practising sword fighting with a nice Ares girl called Shannon, and a tall Athenan boy called Chris, Katie amd chris fighting while Shannon criticized them and called out tips. They all ended up heading to dinner together, sitting together at the Ares table while the other kids hid them from Chiron, so they could sit together instead of at their respective tables.

Alex
"You shouldn't be here." The trees behind him whispered. "If you want to talk to me, talk face to face. Not through your magic." Alex replied, refusing to look over his shoulder. 
"So exactly how much do you already know about everyone here?" The girl beside him asked, turning to look at him with pretty dark blue eyes. "Enough to know that supporting my mother is the right choice." Alex replied wih a sigh, slumping a little where he sat. "The camp could never hold it's own against our parents, daughter of Hecate." The girl laughed bitterly, mimicking Alex's position. "Just call me Ava. No need for formalities." She stood, offering him a hand. "Shall we? Dinner calls." And Alex made his way down the hill with Ava.

Kahlen 
Kahlen made her way to the pavilion. She sat next to her brother. "What's with the necklace?" He asked. Kahlen didn't usually wear jewlery. She took a breath to reply and saw Alex coming in. "Tell you later," she said. He nodded.

Jade
She entered the dining pavilion with Noah, finding her seat at the Poseidon table. It was empty, and she was alone. Do I have to stand out everywhere I go? she thought. Noah grinned and shot her finger guns as he sat at the Hermes table. Jade shook her head, grinning. She spotted dark hair in the corner of her eye and looked up. Alex walked in with another girl. She waved, shooting her grin in his direction. She couldn't wait to tell him about the pegasus ride. Chiron's hooves clopped against the stones as he entered.

Kahlen 
Kahlen watched Jade sit down. This time, she couldn't sense anything. When Alex arrived with that brown-haired girl, her senses were tingling with alarm. What are you hiding, Alexander Ivanov? She wondered.
