Luna

Luna saw Wes, who was holding the animals, and ran to him. I hope Alexa isn't mad, she thought.

Wes

Luna ran up to him, her dark brown hair swishing as she ran. Uh-oh, I what's she up to now? He stopped next to the door to the science classroom, wondering what she had to say. As he waited for her to catch up with him, he stroked the bunnies' foreheads. He was growing quite fond of them.

(just wanted to pop in here and say that my computer has seemingly stopped working, so since typing long things on my phone is hard, I might not post again for a few days... worst-case scenario anyway)

(Awww... That's too bad.)

Luna

Luna slipped over the just-cleaned floor, and crashed straight into Wes. (BTW I'm going to add Luna's height in her profile, she's 5 ft. 6 inches) Luna and her pets weren't hurt, and Luna got up. Looking at the ground, she mumbled, "Are you okay?"

Landon

Landon woke up in his bed, turning over to notice that school had already started. He didn't care though, and in fact, he had skipped out of school after first period yesterday. His power to read minds was hurting his own and until he could figure out to control them, he wasn't going anywhere. He slowly made his way to his bathroom and looked at his distraught figure in the mirror. "I look like complete crap," he grumbled to himself with a sigh following suit. He turned on the shower and decided that it could maybe help. After he was cleaned, he went back to his room and stared at the wall. Luna was probably wondering where he was, but then again she may not care. If only I could figure out how to control it. He walked downstairs to the bakery, staying in the back, but looking through the small window at the customers. Their thoughts filled his mind, making him want to yell for it to stop, but this was the only way he could figure out how to control it.

Wes

Luckily, Wes hadn't fallen, and he shielded the bunnies last-minute before Luna crashed into them. She had to have seen me, he thought, baffled. Luna fell to the ground and was up in the next instant, asking him if everything was alright when she was the one who fell.

"I'm fine. Are you okay?"

Luna

"I'm fine..." said Luna. "The floor is just a little slippery. And-" Luna didn't get to finish her sentence, because all the lights went off in that instant. There were screams, but over the speakers, the principal explained that there was a storm, and they all had to stay until they fixed the generator, which would be probably around 9 or 10-ish. Until then, they had to just wander around in the dark, with flashlights. There was also a tornado, which was why they weren't allowed to go home or outside. "Well," Luna said, "This is kinda creepy... I mean, at school, in the dark, with a tornado outside? Someone help me before I flip out!"

Landon

Landon watched as the lights began to flicker and then suddenly went out. The tornado began to sound and all the customers inside the bakery began to freak out. He heard his mom calming them and instructing them that there was a basement that they could all go to for safety. Landon stood up from his position in the back and went to unlock the door that led down to the basement. It was dark and he pulled out his phone to use as a flashlight. Before going downstairs he opened his messages to send Luna a quick text... 'Hope everything is okay at the school, sorry for skipping out on class.' He headed down the stairs, shutting the door behind him.

Luna

Luna felt annoyed. I mean, she was stuck here for a few more hours, or at least until the storm stopped, and they were taking forever to fix the lights! Her phone buzzed, and it was a text from Landon (LOL how does he know her phone number?). She texted back, 'They're taking forever to fix the generator, and I'm stuck at school now... With a bunch of random students!'

Landon

Landon paced the room feeling the anxiousness from all the people crowded around. His phone buzzed with a reply from Luna. At least she was in a safe place. He quickly replied, 'That sucks but at least your not in a basement full of people.' There was almost no room for him to pace the walls anymore. 

(He is a mind reader XD)

Luna

Luna then realized that she had never told him her phone number. 'Hey Landon, did you read my mind and find out my phone number?' she texted.

Landon

Landon chuckled when he received yet another text from Luna. 'I may have done so, yes.' he replied. Landon sat down in the corner of the room and concentrated on one of the customers. He was trying to read his mind and his mind only. 

Wes

"Luna, we should take cover like everybody else." Students were streaming out of classrooms, most of them looking bored, but a few with anxiety etched on their faces.

Wes waited for her to get done texting, slightly irritated. He decided to go without her. She'd be safe, but where was Alex? He wasn't sure where he saw her last. Craning his neck, he looked at the faces of the passing students, but didn't see Alex among them.

Luna

Meanwhile, Wes had left, but Luna didn't really care, as she wouldn't be missed. Suddenly, Luna got one of her sneaky ideas. She knew that Landon's mom owned a bakery, and that's probably where he was. Luna only lived a few houses down, so she could spy on him quite easily, if she had wanted to. She had seen the bakery before, so she teleported there. She found herself inside, and knew that Landon would probably be in the basement. She quickly teleported there, and saw Landon.

Landon

Landon lost all concentration on the guy, though, he had managed to only hear his thoughts. It was a start. But he had noticed that there was one more person in the room that he hadn't noticed come in. "Luna," he questioned as if he didn't actually think she could get in here. He knew very well that she had used magic. He stood to his feet and went to hug her before looking around to make sure no one had actually taken notice of her teleporting in here.
