Wes

Wes didn't have much of a choice. He was relieved that Alex was okay, but he still didn't know how to get her out. If Luna did know how to get to wherever Alex was, everything would be fine. It was obviously some sort of joke.

On the other hand, what if she just locked him in some random room? He shouldered his backpack and looked at Luna, trying to read her. "Why did you do that?" He repeated.

Luna

"You'll see." Luna then unlocked the door and started to walk down the stairs. "You're going to want to watch your step, It's pretty dark down here. You coming or not?"

Wes

Wary, Wes decided to follow Luna. He was silent as he followed her down the stairs, his lips a thin line. I should've just stayed in English.

Luna

The real reason it was so dark was that Luna didn't bother to turn on the lights. She could see fine down there. She then opened a door, but the wrong one, since she was used to using the backstage entrance. She closed it, then found the right one and opened it. "She should be in here," said Luna, quietly.

Wes

Wes couldn't hardly see a thing. "Alex," he called. "Are you in here?"

Luna

She flicked on the lights, but Alexa was nowhere to be seen. Then Luna realized that she had the wrong trapdoor room. "Wrong room again," Luna said. Luna then ran to the door.

Alexa

"Yeah... over here," she called out to Wes, cautiously walking in the direction of his voice. She tripped over a box and cursed under her breath as she steadied herself, trying her best to keep from falling. She then realized that his voice sounded like it came from a different room.

Wes thought he heard a muffled reply. It seemed to be coming from somewhere other than the room they were in.

"Look, Luna." Wes stopped, grateful that the lights were on but otherwise becoming more irritated by the second. "You need to quit playing games. This is serious."

"She's in the next room, I think. I can hear her. And Yes, this is serious. But I can't navigate well unless I use the top secret entrance only the teachers and I know about."

Wes

Top secret entrance? Wes wasn't sure what he should believe that Luna told him. He slipped around her and went on his own way. It was still dark, and he had no idea where he was going, but he used the wall as a guide. A belt of fear slithered through his spine and settled like a heavy rock in his belly.

"Alex?" He called, hearing the fear creep into his voice.

Alexa

"Y-yes?" she stuttered, slowly inching toward Wes' voice so that she didn't trip over anything. "I'm over here... I have no idea where you are."
The room was getting darker as she headed farther into it, leaving the trap door behind.

Wes

He followed Alex's voice, still walking along the wall. He was closer to her now, he was sure of it. His hand brushed against a door handle, and he tried to open the door. Of course, it was locked, but locked doors weren't a problem for Wes.

Click.

He swung open the door and fumbled for a light switch. He found one, and the room was filled with a light so bright, he had to blink his eyes a few times to get used to it.

(His powers are so cool!)

Alexa

Alex shut her eyes tightly, not opening them until she adjusted to the sudden burst of blinding light. Stepping forward, she stumbled around piles of stuff until she ended up near Wes and Luna. She smirked slightly, without much reason behind it; she guessed she just felt like it.
"Hey guys. Care to explain what that was all about?" the blond-haired girl asked coyly.
