Geronimo High (Human RPG) \No Sign-ups\

The teacher announced that they were going to start a section on Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet so would "everyone please open their books?" Wes groaned. He had forgotten his book.

Not sure what to do, he tried to make himself look inconspicuous by doing nothing. He realized that he was probably just drawing attention to himself, so he shuffled around in his backpack for a few moments before returning empty-handed. Stupid.

Alexa

We should be doing a play of this instead, she grumbled in her mind, getting out her book and opening it up. Apparently they didn't need their textbooks today, so she hastily shoved it back into her backpack.
She could barely understand the words on the pages of this book... this was definitely not proper English. It was so old-timey and confusing, and to top it all off, she found the plot to be rather boring... mostly because she barely understood what was going on.

When the teacher turned to open his own book, Wes grabbed his backpack and slipped out of the classroom, hoping nobody would see. I can't believe I'm doing this, I can't believe I'm doing this...

He didn't bother closing the door because it was already open. He scurried down the hall, his backpack slipped over one shoulder, sweat breaking out on the back of his neck. There was a slight buzzing in his ears. He dipped through another door that led to what he first thought was a gymnasium, but was actually a theater stage, shrouded in darkness.

Alexa

Alex diverted her gaze from the book as the new kid exited the room. It had just dawned on her that she had never seen him around before, and that he must be new to this school. Closing her book lightly, she slowly slipped it into her bag and asked to be excused. The busy teacher allowed her, probably because he was too caught up in the lesson to care. Letting out a breath that she wasn't aware she had been holding, Alex started heading down the empty hallway in search of the boy, her footsteps echoing slightly.

(He is as if a dark shadow. Never one to cause commotion. Never one to be the center of attention or at least not in his mind. He has a lean, but built figure, wide arms and chest. He stands 6'2, never in his life had he put on weight due to his evened out body type. Completing his dark look is his deeply black medium hair usually in a half spikey half down style. The only thing that offsets his dark demeanor is his silvery blue eyes.)

Things were always simple for him. There was no one to not simplify his world. Things were easy for him as they always were. He rarely got into fights, rarely talked, and things were better that way. He was a complicated being, he could admit that. No one needs to know this simple fact about him, because then there will be questions. Questions that after 17 years of his life he still did not know the answers to. He didn't understand himself and neither will the rest of the world. Things are better off this way.
He was an 'evil drug user'. Shame on me, he thought sarcastically to himself as he walked down the hall, glancing at an anti-drug sign. He knew he was late to class. Wasn't he always though? It was like an addiction. Getting into trouble. But he was always left with a warning. A reminder to come in early next time, although he never did. When will they finally understand him? Oh yeah, never. With his hands tucked in his pockets and his eyes casted downwards he continued through the abandoned hall.

Luna

Luna hated English, and saw Alexa and the new guy leave, and she wasn't in the class yet, so after they walked by, she quickly teleported to the theater, where she was sure he and Alexa had gone. Luna then turned the lights on, and she was blinded for a moment.

Wes

In the next moment, the theater was bathed in light, but Wes was nowhere near the switch. I'm caught. I'm dead. I'm going to be suspended for skipping class-

When he turned around, instead of seeing a teacher or the principal, he saw the girl with the purple eyes standing on the stage near him. How did she get here? He wondered. His face flushed when he remembered running away that morning without helping pick up the flyers. He had hoped he'd never have to see her again, but there she was.

Luna

Luna wondered why she had even come. Why would she turn the lights on and make this a really awkward situation? "Er, hi, I'm Luna," she said. Ugh, why is this so awkward? She thought.

Alexa

The blond huffed as she reached the theater room. Opening the backstage door quietly, she crept inside.
"Uh... hello?" she called softly, stepping out onto the stage. There he was: 'the new kid', as she referred to him as. I finally found him. Now what?

Luna stared at Alexa. This is the most awkward thing ever. Why the heck did I come?

"I'm Wes," he said. Maybe she doesn't recognize me. He looked around the theater. "This place is kind of creepy when it's empty, isn't it?"

Alexa

"Are you kidding?" Alex chimed in, laughing slightly. "This place is awesome when it's empty. It's dark and quiet... this is the kind of place where stories start to form. Ideas, plots, characters... Okay, yeah, it's slightly creepy, but that's what's so cool about it!" she rambled, finally dropping her quiet and reserved act.

Luna

"Nope, not for me," said Luna. "I'm not afraid of anything. No one is in here to scare me. I love it here."

Wes

Wes felt slightly uneasy. He knew it was silly, but he almost felt cornered. Why were these girls following him?

"Do people usually come here to skip class?" He asked, because he couldn't think of anything else to say. And it would just be awkward to not say anything at all.

Luna

Luna used her signature 'back off' glare at Alexa, who was getting on her last nerve.  "No, they don't. I just came because I don't like English, and the teacher would never notice today."
