Persephone questioned herself about his statement, their relationship was so strange. At times she felt like she could confide to him, as if he was her long time friend. But other times she felt like her heart was tied to his, she was so confused about her feelings. Persy snapped out of her daze, and answered his question, "I am."

Kasimir gave her a smile and began to walk in a direction in which neither kingdom lived. He was worried deep down that the plan wouldn't work and that he would be punished beyond means for not only abandoning his own kingdom but also running away with princess of Moonae. He had to stay optomistic for his sake and for Persy's sake as well. He turned to her, taking in her beauty and dreaming of their friendship and future beyond.

Persephone blushed, nipping him in the shoulder playfully, "What?" She glanced at his calming eyes, relaxing a little as she knew she was safe with him. Her beauty grew every day, and to her it seemed Kasimir grew more mature. She would have to tell him about her feelings, but she wasn't ready yet. Would she ever truly be ready? After all, her parents had just begun to allow suitors into the palace when they had met.

Kasimir was startled out of his daydream at the sound of Persephone's voice. He face became flushed with a red tint to at as he had realized he was staring at Persephone for a little to long and that she had noticed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to stare," he said with embarrassment as he turned his head in the other direction. "I was just daydreaming." He looked back at her, his face still flushed with embarrassment. He hadn't meant to stare, only thinking of a time when he would settle down with his life.

"No need to apologize." She told him sincerely, giving him a brief nuzzle on the cheek. Persy returned her gaze to the 'road' ahead of them. "I still can't believe I let you convince me into this." She chuckled, taking a quick glance at him. He's so gentle and sweet...he is definitely worth risking my neck for. What am I thinking?!

Kasimir gave a big smile and returned a small chuckle. "I'm glad you agreed." He nuzzled her neck, she was definitely a mare worth fighting for. He looked ahead of him, thinking of time when he thought this was the craziest idea anyone would ever do. Thing is he couldn't think of one, it seemed completely natural to him. Anyone who knew what he was thinking would probably think that he had com insane.

A tint of pink clouded beneath her furry cheeks as she felt the gentle nuzzle he bestowed upon her neck. "Will you miss Lagosta?" she asked him out of the blue. Persy would miss her people, and her home land, but that is all she would miss. She sped her pace a little, ready to find a place to call home.

Kasimir pondered on the question thinking whether he would miss his home or not. He knew they would miss him and he would miss his people. As much as he wanted to leave and needed to leave, he knew it would let his people and family down for leaving his duties and position as the prince to Lagosta. "Some of it," he answered truthfully, "but not all of it."

Persy nodded, her eyes focused on the road ahead. She stopped turning to face him, her body completely stiffened. "Are you positive you want to go through this? This might be your last chance to change your mind?" she asked him, wanting the full truth.

Kasimir came to a halt beside Persy and turned to face her. "Of course I'm sure I want to do this. Do you?" He looked at the road and back to her. He wouldn't change his mind even if he had the chance. He only hoped she felt the same way he did.

Persephone sighed deeply, "We've come this far." She turned back towards the road, and began to walk. Her silky, white tail swished behind her as she made her way down the road.

Kasimir slowed his pace, his aching legs begging for rest. He looked to Persephone, "Perhaps we should rest for the night." He saw a few trees providing shade up ahead and thought it was a good spot as any to rest. He slowed to a halt and gave Persy a half smile though he didn't say anything.

Persephone yawned, looking at Kasimir with heavy eyes. "What is it?" she asked him sweetly, stopping beside him and giving him a sweet nuzzle on the neck. She found it a little strange to be so close to him during resting hours, but did not bother her.
