The Isles of Nowhere | Rp (COMPLETED)

     Everything was quiet, and Solstice enjoyed it. It was peaceful and relaxing. Something she hadn't felt in a long time. Honestly since she left her birth herd, she hadn't felt love, peace, and kindness since the last time she saw her brother. Oh how she missed him. Solstice thought she wasn't going to see him for another few months, but what she didn't know was that she would see him a lot sooner then she thought. 

     Solstice just read and read occasionally looking around and readjusting her body. She was for once in her life free to learn. Something she'd been wanting to do for years. Never has she felt so much like a filly before. Even when she was truly a filly, she didn't feel like one. "Sections 2...Chapter 1..." she said quietly to herself as the book turned the page, "Well that's one section...of who knows how many that I've read.." she sighed. 

     Solstice then looked up seeing Eclipsetess had woken. She gave a small nod before going back to reading. Just as they wanted. Not that she minded. It wasn't long before she looked up again to see Eclipsetess with some apples, "Oh thanks...guess I was too busy reading to realize I haven't eaten really today." she said with a grateful smile. Solstice then ate the apples one by one. They were quite tasty. She hadn't had apples in awhile, and she was grateful. 

     After having the three apples, Solstice looked around some of the herd to give her mind a quick break from reading. A few minutes later, and Solstice was back to reading. Some of what she already read included what the others had told her so far, but it went into a lot more detail which helped her understand it a bit better then she already did. Though she wasn't too surprised with the detail because of how much she had to read.

     Meanwhile Namir was approaching his herd. Why he was always gone, no one really knew. Not even his little sister. He wanted to keep her from the truth as much as he could to protect her where as the others did it out of greed and cruelty. The stallion stopped as he looked around. The herd seemed to be too happy. "Skadi," he said as he walked up to her. The mare hadn't even noticed. "Where is Solstice? If you hurt her again I won't have a choice but to repay the favor." he said not happy that his sister wasn't in sight.

     Skadi turned around slowly as she heard a familiar voice. "N-namir..." she said a bit shakily. Even she feared him. No one messed with him. "She left the herd...joined another. She's with a guardian and several others. They gave her wings. Why I'm not sure." Skadi's voice was still harsh, but she watched her mouth knowing what Namir was capable of. Even the herd noticed his presence as things got a bit tense.

     "Where did they go?" he asked with a stern look. Skadi told him what direction they went in, "Wise choice. I won't be coming here again, but that doesn't mean this will be the last you see of me." he snorted before turning around and galloping in the direction Skadi had told him. Namir wasn't sure what Solstice was thinking, but he kept it in consideration that he didn't know what herd she had joined.

     It didn't seem to take long before Namir came across another herd. He got the feeling that his little sister was there as he caught her scent. Namir came to a stop as some mares noticed him and seemed to get defensive. He bowed slightly to show he wasn't a threat, "I don't mean any harm. I just want to find my little sister. I hope this is the herd I was looking for?" he said in a calm but slightly deep voice.

The sun was high and Scorn was enjoying the warmth being casted on, feeling the warmth on his coat, then began to graze to his own will, free of his true kingdom, and free of burden.

Scorn heard the mares getting defensive and he went to where the mares were, that's when he saw a stallion, "Stand down ladies, I'm pretty sure you know that by now." Scorn said, one by one the mares looked at him before going back to what they were previously doing.

Meanwhile little Smoke was awake as Azulia looked up at Eclipsetess, wondering what she was thinking in that mind of her's, though Eclipsetess glided down onto the ground, "Solstice, I sense a familiar that you know." Azulia said as Eclipsetess tended to what Smoke was doing.

Though Scorn did show the stallion to where Solstice was, "The tree, this is Eclipsetess is watching over Solstice, she's a good guardian, while working with giant wings. Azulia is usually with Eclipsetess, so your able to indentify who is who." Scorn said, while Eclipsetess shot up a bit of magic.

"Look's like Azulia already told Eclipsetess, better get going then." Scorn said, he looked at the stallion before going to the hillside and looking over the horizon.

Eclipsetess nuzzled Solstice complete of joy, she magically popped up a bookmark and had marked Solstice's stop, making sure that Solstice knows where she is in the book, then she shot straight up as she tended to the barrier of magic and imported more magic into it.

Though when Eclipsetess flew back down, and walked over to Azulia as the two began to talk, Eclipsetess looked at Solstice from time to time, making sure she is alright.

     Namir nodded respectfully as Scorn came over. He figured this other stallion was the leader since the mares followed his commands respectfully. He respectfully followed him to where his sister was. Namir nodded, "So my sister found herself in the hooves of a guardian, and she found herself surrounded by those that will protect her. It's easy to see you and your mares already seem to care for her. Something she never had before. It's about time she was surrounded by those that will care for her. Unlike that nasty herd we were born into, she's been through enough."

    Namir stopped himself as he thanked the stallion before looking over at his sister, and those who were with her. It seemed she already had made some friends and had a long day. Namir could see a change in his sister, but he couldn't quite figure out what different about her. He walked a bit closer as he laughed a bit, "There she is, my little sister. I was wondering if you were ever going to do what's best for yourself."

     Solstice looked up at Eclipsetess as she flew down. She had a confused look on her face, "What do you m-" Solstice was cut off when she heard a familiar voice. Solstice looked in the direction she heard the voice. It was at that moment that Solstice sprung up like a filly, "Namir! I thought I wasn't going to see you in another several months!" she said excitedly as she ran over to him completely forgetting about the book.

     The stallion chuckled as she ran over to him, "I was passing through the area, so I thought I'd come see you for a day or two. Plus it has been awhile since I last saw you. Glad to know I don't have to worry about you anymore. You're in safe hooves for once, and it seems they've treated you like you've been here the whole time."

     Solstice just wrapped herself around her brother, "I've only been with them for a few hours, but still so much has happened..." she said as she pulled herself off of him. She spread her wings slightly, "They aren't permanent, but I have learned to use them slightly.." she said with a small awkward smile before folding the wings back to her sides. 

     Namir just chuckled, "I see. If I didn't know better I'd be fooled to think you were a alicorn," he said as he nuzzled her before looking at the two mares a short distance away, "I can't thank the both of you enough for caring for my sister as much as you have today. I always wanted to get her out of that nasty herd, but I knew she was safer with them. Now I know she has a whole herd to keep her safe while caring for her. I can now go about my days easier knowing someone is caring for her."

Eclipsetess bowed respectfully towards Solstice's brother, "You are most welcome, Namir." Eclipsetess said, she then backed a little bit as Azulia began examining him, she was full of curiousities.

"Don't mind me, I'm just quite curious about you." Azulia said, as her eyes flashed into multiple different colors before going back to her sapphire blue and emerald green eyes, Eclipsetess then shot her magic into the sky, she shot off some firework magic.

Azulia giggled, before taking place next to Eclipsetess, Eclipsetess then spread her wings out, Azulia knew what this was and she began plucking her feather's. Eclipsetess felt no pain as she smiled brightly and closed her eyes, Azulia then stopped plucking the feathers before they had magic bubbles go around them.

A couple of the mares that weren't unicorns nor pegasi had stepped up towards Azulia, some of the mares that stayed behind were either unicorns or pegasi, but with different abilities, now with the ones that weren't had a feather pick them and then showed them with their wishes.

Eclipsetess stayed in her pose of her front hoof over the other, her chest tight and in, her eyes still closed, and her neck angled. Then a daring light appeared and had given Eclipsetess some guardian clothing, the clothing were bright purple and yellow, she was given a necklace of pure diamonds, a wrap was covering her rump and a bit of her back to hind quarters, a head crown that was more of a necklace was on her forehead. Even her wings were drapped in golden arches, the arches similar to Wither's as he flew over to Eclipsetess, he was amazed at Eclipsetess's change..

Then when Eclipsetess opened her eyes, jewels aligned her ridge and her eyes looked the same, her horn. However, was drapped with lines going her horn, they weren't constant as they changed the angles a bit.

"I see that I was given some clothing, I guess Faith had seen my deeds and my job, do I look amazing or fantastic looking?" Eclipsetess said, her voice echoing like that of a real angel, but her voice seeming to be a little deeper but not too deep.

Wither fell over in a daze, as Azulia started marking down her change for Eclipsetess, Azulia then marked the clothing as "Guardian Gift", she then stood next to Solstice. She was wandering something about her and her brother, Eclipsetess then started walking towards the three, catching Azulia off guard.

"I see you have many thoughts of Solstice and Namir now, I wonder the same my friend." Eclipsetess said, Smoke ran up and bumped into Eclipsetess's leg, Eclipsetess then lifted Smoke into the air with her magic.

Smoke then saw Eclipsetess's change as she started asking questions, Wither shortly woke up from his nap, he then trotted over to the group, Eclipsetess then gently put Smoke down onto the ground. Grey Cloud then quickly took her foal from the stallion that was in the group, Grey Cloud then smiled at Eclipsetess as her change was positive from the mare.

"I see my change is positive and not negative, I hope to continue protecting your sister." Eclipsetess said, Azulia smiled at her.

"But you are assigned to her!" Azulia said as Eclipsetess tiredly looked at her, "When will you let that go?" Eclipsetess asked Azulia, she just shook her head as Eclipsetess flew to the branch that she was previously on and made her perch back onto the branch.

Azulia giggled as she saw Eclipsetess working on her doll, she was now making Namir a doll, she just happily worked away as Azulia went over to give Namir an apple or three! Eclipsetess spotted Azulia getting the apples, she used her magic to take three apples and give them Namir herself, Azulia then took an apple and ate it.

"You must be hungry, a long journey into Golden Valley, it's sure to work an appetite!" Eclipsetess said, she wasn't sure where Namir stayed at, so she gave off that impression that she didn't know where he stayed.

     Namir returned the bow respectfully before looking at the second mare. He quietly chuckled to himself, "No worries. I always wished that I could stayed of stayed with this one here, but I had other responsibilities. I can't protect her forever," he said playfully nudging Solstice. The two just laughed even though they'd have to separate once again in a day or two. Namir may have kept a lot secrets, but it was for the greater good of his sister. The only thing he cared about.

     Solstice just gave her brother a look as she stood closely beside him. It wasn't long until her attention went to Eclipsetess.  Solstice was a bit confused about what was happening, and why Azulia was plucking her feathers. Though she remembered about the book, and figured it must have a chapter or two about guardians or something of the sort. Instead, Solstice just silently watched.

     The whole thing amazed the young mare, and sparked her curiosity. Namir just stood there watching silently as well, but couldn't help but to laugh at his sister, "You'll understand magic soon enough if you stay with this herd. I have a feeling they will be the key to you unlocking you full potential." he said before telling her to continue watching. Solstice nodded as she just as she was told.

     After the whole thing, Solstice didn't know what to say. Eclipsetess was absolutely gorgeous with the clothing that had been given to her. "Y-you look even more beautiful then you did before.." she said in complete awe. She'd never seen anything like it, and it fascinated her just like all the other magic she had witnessed that day. "I wish I was that beautiful..." she muttered catching her brother's attention.

     Namir just looked down at his sister, "Now now. You are beautiful just the way you are Solstice. Being beautiful doesn't make everyone stop..mistreating you..." he sighed not wanting to bring it up. "Skadi and the others have no reason to mistreat you anymore. You are with them now. Forget your past. It is the only way you can unlock your true potential. Everything they said and did to you were all lies."

      Solstice just looked down as she nodded. Namir just nuzzled her. She did have questions about Eclipsetess's change, but she just kept quiet. She figured the book would contain the answers she seeked. If not, then she'd ask. Namir then looked at Eclipsetess, "Faith as in the goddess of hope? Well. How bout that. My little sister got to meet her then I presume?" he asked them. "See you aren't that pathetic if you got to meet a goddess," he grinned looking at his lil sis. 

     She just rolled her eyes as she ruffled her wings slightly. Namir nodded, "I am glad to know that my sister is in the hooves of such a guardian and her friends. Protect her as long as it is needed. Soon she should start to learn how to use the magic she has." Solstice just looked at her brother confused by what he meant, but she stayed silent. She knew not to ask her brother of such things.

     Namir soon shook his head, "It was on the way to where I'm heading. I should be fine for a good while, but I do wish to speak to the two of you in private if that's alright." he asked lowering his head slightly out of respect before he looked at Eclipsetess and Azulia. Solstice gave him a confused look, but he reassured her everything was fine. There were just some things they needed to know. Namir knew Solstice would learn of the secrets soon enough, and he knew that the time was nearing, but she had to learn things about herself on her own with the help of her new friends. Until then these things needed to be kept from her.

"That would be fine, right Azulia?" Eclipsetess said, Azulia kept quite as she was showing admiration through her temperate eyes, Eclipsetess then shook Azulia as she agreed to what Eclipsetess asked her.

"And your brother is right about you being beautiful, you are the gorgeous creature of the night, something only a guardian aspires from, telling stories to their young and teaching ways of the unicorns of the night. It's pretty magical, if Faith could project it through her horn. Sadly she returned to the Air Kingdom, though she did come down from the clouds to be seen smiling at Solstice here. Something only that of a unicorn that's lucky enough gets to witness a happy- pegasus? Is that right, or is she a hidden unicorn?" Eclipsetess asked confused, she then got the book Solstice was reading and flipped to Faith's page that detailed her in every way.

"Ah, she is indeed a pegasus, but she can show a hologram of a unicorn's horn. She is also known for having an alicorn phase is mad enough. Though that is rare, oh never mind I was Crystalithe's page! My bad.." Eclipsetess said as she then skimmed the pages until she landed on Faith's page.

"Now here we go, she is definately a hidden alicorn, she mainly uses her horn when there is a prayer or is needed to get faith restored in a selected horse, she is sometimes seen dancing with alicorns in the sky. Y'know just flying but in patterns, kinda like geese on the.. Nevermind." Eclipsetess said, Azulia then waited for Namir to talk to them, Eclipsetess closed the book with her magic and made sure the bookmark was on the correct page for Solstice.

"Here you go Solstice, your book that I needed to borrow for a quick second." Eclipsetess said, as she put the book back in it's spot, Eclipsetess then looked at Namir. "Now what do you want to talk about?" Eclipsetess asked as Azulia was fiddling with Eclipsetess's feather in her mane.

Scorn stood nearby when Wither approached him, the mares just looked at Wither for a short bit before going back to grazing and whatever, Scorn just looked at him meanly. "I do not need you yet, you can go hang out with Snow, she needs a buddy." Scorn said as he commanded Wither a bit, he did use his deep voice to scare the poor pegasus to going now.

Scorn then stood next to Grey Cloud, clearly interacting with her and their foal Smoke, Smoke just looked at him as she placed a pinecone on his forelock, Scorn just smiled and laughed as the pinecone fell off his forelock.

     Solstice just nodded. Her coat was like a seal bay color with translucent dots on her body that represented stars. On her flank and forehead she had one golden crescent moon and a black one. They were right, but Solstice wasn't entirely sure what to say, so she just gave a second nod. Namir just looked at his sis, "Well then. I'd say your more special then you think if Faith seems to like you," he said with a smirk nudging her slightly. "Just stay here while I talk to them about some things alright?" he asked Solstice as she gave a nod. Namir nuzzled her before respectfully walking a long enough distance so that Solstice couldn't hear what was being said while also staying in sight.

     Solstice took the book from Eclipsetess, "I'll get back to reading while you guys talk.." she said before she laid down underneath the tree once more and opened the book from where she left off. She noticed the bookmark and was grateful. So far she read a good amount, but she was no where close to even reading a quarter of the book, "Not a bad start..." she muttered as she began reading once more.

     When the two mares walked over, Namir quickly glanced at his sister. "Good you have her reading," he said knowing it would distract her. Eventually Namir looked at the both of them, "I'm sure she's said some things about me, but not all of it is true. I'm not the perfect older brother that raised her. I've only lied to her this whole time just like everyone else, but I did it to protect her unlike the others.." he began as he let out a sigh, "I'm sure she's also mentioned our parent's abandoning her? That was one of those lies. She was too young to know the truth, only a few days old...."

     "Our parents were sent away from the herd, the reason no one knows. Solstice had only been a day old. Two days later I'm walking through the area, and find their bodies. They had died for reasons I don't even know, but I could never bring myself to tell her that our parents were killed. Solstice is special...I've known it since I first saw her. I get the sense that she has strong magic within her, and the necklace she wears only adds to it if she learns how to use it and her own magic. Our mother would never take that necklace off, and I just had to take it not wanting it to fall into the wrong hooves..."

     Namir paused for a minute or two as he looked at Solstice. He told some other lies while others he continued to keep to himself. "She needs more then protecting. Whatever you do don't tell her anything I just told you. This is for her to find out on her own. I have spent everyday since I found out what happened to our parents protecting her and ensuring she gets the life she deserves. Because of that I had to leave for long periods of time once she was old enough. I knew she had to learn to stand up for herself and make her own decisions without me being there. I can tell she only learned how to make her own decisions...but please don't tell her. She'll start finding things out soon enough. Especially if she keeps on reading that book you gave her."

     The stallion changed his gaze to the two mare's as he hoped they wouldn't tell Solstice anything. If they were to be protecting her, they had to know these things. It pained him that he had to have others lie to her, but it had to be done. Namir cared about his little sister more then anything else. If anything bad ever happened to her, he'd never forgive himself.

     Solstice was reading as she occasionally gave a quick glance at the three as they talked far enough away she could only hear mumbles. Though she could not make out the words being said. Solstice just went back to reading when she forgot about her wings a bit. "I'm sure it won't hurt if I try to test these out again," she said to herself as she slowly stood up and stretched. She placed the bookmark in it's new place before she spread her wings. 

     After taking a deep breath, Solstice started flapping her wings. She could feel her hooves touching the ground less and less as she was eventually hovering in place, but she noticed she kept going up. She didn't mind though since that was partly what she was trying to do. Though it didn't take long for her to bump into a large branch. Oh yeah...she forgot about the tree. How could she forget that was underneath a tree? That was dumb. Solstice just shook her head as she carefully landed. "That was a dumb thing to do," she muttered as she shook her wings hoping the others didn't notice.

"I would never tell a living soul about this, especially if it's important, I understand how you feel. And I will swear to you on Guardians Oath to not tell her this, and that we will keep doing what we were originally doing. And that; was to have fun while she was quickly learning of things." Eclipsetess said as she bowed like in dressage, Azulia did the same thing as she kept quiet more, Solstice would instantly know since Azulia is the more talkative kind.

"I also promise, as a friend and as a secret." Azulia told Namir, she then quickly got up when she saw Solstice land, Eclipsetess then looked at Namir like it would be alright, she knew what she was doing.

"And don't worry Namir darling, I know what I am doing, Faith would guide us through if we had gone the wrong way. She.. Even has an ability that she uses to hide secrets more if they spilled out on accident. So we have Faith to help if something got out." Eclipsetess said, as Azulia ran off to see how well Solstice did on landing.

"Solstice I saw your landing! You did so well!" Azulia said when running off to Solstice, Eclipsetess sighed before looking back at Namir.

"And if you need anything else to say, I will be here to know the knowledge, I'll make sure Azulia doesn't spill secrets, sometimes that girl likes to spread rumors among the erd as well. So it's pretty common to hear fake rumors, but I got Azulia out of that bad habit, so no need to worry on that either." Eclipsetess said as she watched Azulia begin fangirling Solstice's land.

"Azulia dear, I don't think you should be annoying Solstice right now!" Eclipsetess said, as she used her wings to glide a tiny bit off of the ground.

When Eclipsetess went back to the two, she forgot that Namir's doll version of him fell out of her mane, it looked relatively finished as for the button eyes looked like his, Eclipsetess was fast for working on dolls.

     Namir nodded, "Thank you. There have been many times where I almost told her these things, but I knew I couldn't. Once she starts finding these things out, she'll want to look for me. Please don't let her. I expected a day similar to this to come, but it came sooner then I thought. Though I am grateful it came now rather then later. I see a change in her. For once in her life she's happy even worry free, and I thank you for that." Namir glanced at his sister, "I thought that if you were going to continue to protect her that you both needed to know these things."

     He then looked back at Eclipsetess, "I trust you. If you've only been my sister for a few hours, and she's already warmed up to you then that says something. She's a shy one. Especially when it comes to meeting others." Namir did a small quick laugh as a memory popped into his head when Solstice was only a few months old. He missed those times, but things had to change. Namir couldn't always stand up for Solstice and protect her from their herd.

     Solstice just shook her head as she jumped when she realized Azulia had ran over to her. She just turned and looked at her, "I did?" she asked as she looked at herself. "Huh I did.." Her landing still wasn't the best, but hey it's improvement. "Guess I didn't notice since I hit my head on one of the branches," she said with a small snort as she looked up at the tree. After a minute or two Solstice looked back at Azulia. She was about to ask what her brother wanted to talk to them about, but she just kept her mouth shut. 

     Namir just watched his sister and Azulia, "As long as she learns these things herself. That's what matters. I am not the brother she thinks I am, but I try my best to be what she always needed. It's easier now seeing as how she has you guys. I've always sensed great things from her." Namir looked nothing like Solstice. He was just a dark dapple bay unicorn with four stockings and a blaze that ran down his face. Though he did have some strong magic, it sensed greater magic coming from Solstice. 

     Solstice just looked at Eclipetess as she glided over, "I just thought I'd take a small break and try to get used to these wings some more.." she said looking down slightly. She just ruffled her feathers before laying back down and opening the book once more. She did notice Namir walking back over as he laid beside her. Namir had asked what she was reading. "Little bit of everything," she told him before going back to the book. Though it wasn't long until she looked at him again, "You aren't staying long are you..?" she asked sadly before looking down. Solstice already knew the answer.

     Namir sighed hating that he couldn't stay as long as he wished to, "I'm sorry Solstice, but I can't. If I wasn't passing through the area then I couldn't even stop by today, but I'm glad I did..." he said nuzzling her, "I have to leave before the moon rises tomorrow, but I'm here now." he said speaking in a calm but slightly deep voice. His voice just naturally had it's slightly deep tone.

Then a new horse appeared, Eclipsetess just walked up to the young horse, "Hello there young one, how is your fine morning?" Eclipsetess asked the horse, he just shook his head as he started to look around..

"I'm just here to mail things early, I'm going on vacation tomorrow." the horse replied, Azulia ran up to him and started searching the horse's bag for any mail..

"Woah, I don't think I have anything for you, but if I did. Then I would mail something to you, I'm just here to give letters to a young horse. Filly to be exact. Faith also wanted to mail a letter to the young horse." the colt replied, he didn't seem to have any wings, only a small horn with little bits of gold drips off of him from time to time.

"Well, what's the fillies name? We must know so we can give them to her." Eclipsetess said, she had a feeling that the young colt was ordered to give letters to Solstice.

"Well, they're past letters, prayers that are formed into letters when a fillies or colt's parent or parents pass away, something that often is common to every horse that I deliver a letter too. But these are also recent, meaning that the parents would have died before seeing their foal or foals. But I'm not sure, I'm only told this by Faith and the other gods in the Air Kingdom." the colt looked down before looking back up, "They could also just be lying to me and ordering me to do something, but I know Faith wouldn't order me to do something unless it was VERY IMPORTANT!" the young colt added, Eclipsetess understood what he was said, then he gave a couple letters to Eclipsetess.

"I will be careful on what to give to Solstice, after all you were looking for her, correct?" Eclipsetess asked the colt nodded away, then he gave Azulia a letter and went on his way to give letters to the rest of the herd.

"Ooh mother wrote a letter to me!" Azulia excited opened her letter with Eclipsetess helping, she then started to read what her mother wrote.

After Azulia got done reading the letter, Eclipsetess asked her what did Azulia's mother say, but Azulia kept it to herself. Eclipsetess then walked over and carefully selected a letter to give to Solstice, "I think I gave you the correct one, I am not sure, but you should see the one I picked. I thought at least it would be a letter left behind, like what Apollo said; even though he's the paper boy, and yet Faith told him to give me and have me pick out a letter for you." Eclipsetess said, she kept the other letters in her wings, for safe keeping and that they can't come out. Kinda like glue.

Azulia then sat down on the other side of Solstice, waiting for Solstice to read the letter, she was estatic and full of energy! But she did make sure to calm down and wait for what's gonna happen next, though she is patient, she did recieve a letter from her mother, kinda like what Solstice is gonna get. But from both parents..

"Hey Eclipsetess, is my dad still alive?" Azulia asked Eclipsetess, she just looked at her in the eyes, gently though. "I fret not since you did not recieve a letter from Apollo that was originally made in heck, so it is a no. He is still alive and probably wandering the vast desert now. All alone, oh poor soul, but he did banish and abandon you after all. But I am glad that we still met. After all destiny is destiny, am I right?" Eclipsetess asked Azulia, Azulia nodded to what Eclipsetess said at the end, she probably accepted for what reason that she was to be banished and abandoned.

"But I'll probably ask Faith to see how your mother is doing, after all, god's and goddesses alike can access The Angel Realm. And that is where angels, and souls are born, souls come from The Angel Realm while they are still seeking out a foal to be in and be happy. And Angels are born the exact same, but they wander the realm since they are horses that passed away. I was a soul once, and it is only rare for a soul to still remember their first home. How did you think I met you all? Minus Solstice, oh and The Angel Realm is also in the book as well. Just as many other things are." Eclipsetess said from Azulia to telling Solstice, it looks like she had more knowledge then she previously said.

"Alright, but I bet mother is a goddess! Right?" Azulia asked, she was confused if her mother was an angel or a goddess, so she had to ask Eclipsetess.

"Azulia darling, I do not have that kind of knowledge, you would have to ask Faith for that question." Eclipsetess said sadly she doesn't have an extent to everything, Azulia just put her head down before looking sad.

"But Faith won't come back down for another year! Or at least some months! Remember? Their still trying to train that refusive foal that doesn't want to perish." Azulia was talking about Dragon Devil, Eclipsetess knew what she had said, she then sighed and looked at Azulia.

"Azulia, I know they are still trying to take down Dra, I know you are worried. So am I, I am worried that Dragon Devil will have his powerback sometime soon, but it won't be here or now. Because the world and kingdoms would be falling and the sky would look like that of Isle of Darkness, and that would mean Dra is getting his powerback. But like I said; not here or now, he will not get his powerback, no matter what!" Eclipsetess said proudly, she kinda sounded like she was yelling an inspirational quote, then the ground began to shake under everyone's feet.

"Quake!" Azulia said as she ran into the herd, Eclipsetess used her magic to make the tree stay up, the barrier that Eclipsetess made is not breaking and that the herd is fine.

Though some of the trees outside the barrier did fall, but Eclipsetess used her magic to keep the barrier more stronger to keep everything from collasping in, Azulia counted the herd members as Smoke began running around in a panic, Eclipsetess was too busy to help calm down Smoke, but Grey Cloud caught her baby and started to calm her down.

Scorn was making sure that the other herd was fine, then without doubting that the quake began to stop, Eclipsetess knew of this trick as a horse was nearby and was casting havoc into the Golden Valley's herds, Eclipsetess still kept up her magic as black ooze was gushing out of her horn more. She was nearing her limits.

"AHahahahah! Having fun yet~?" a female horse said, she was laughing about, she was hidden within the forest and Eclipsetess was looking frantically for the mare.

     Solstice just leaned against her brother. She said nothing wishing she could see him more then she did. After all, Namir did raise her. Solstice was truly lucky enough to have a brother like Namir who took the time to raise her to who she was now. She was almost a fully grown mare. Just a few more months. Solstice then looked up when she heard Eclipsetess talking to someone thinking it was her, but she only saw a young stallion. She listened to the small conversation the two were having. 

     She watched the young stallion as Azulia and Eclipsetess spoke with him. Though she looked at Namir, "Are they talking about me...?" she asked him when she overheard most of what the colt said when Azulia started to look through his bags. Solstice flicked her ears trying to listen in a bit more, but she couldn't. She could hear Faith being mentioned, and a filly. It had to be her right?

     Namir watched the interaction as well before looking at Solstice, "I'm not sure, but you'll find out soon enough. There is nothing to fear or worry about. Now why don't you read some more from that book of yours? Seems like you got a lot of reading to do, but I can tell your enjoying it." Solstice just playfully nipped at him, "Hey!" he laughed returning the favor as he playfully and lightly pulled on a part of her mane. She just grinned before going back to the book like he had said to. Namir was right though she was enjoying reading the book.

     Solstice soon stopped reading when she overheard what the colt said next. All of her attention went to the words she overheard him say about prayers being turned into letters. Was there something in the book about it? Solstice just glanced at the book as she didn't even bother to try and look for it. She'd get to it at some point. Were her parents gone..? All of her thoughts went to her parents as she looked at the necklace Namir gave her saying it was their mother's.

     At that point, Solstice said nothing and stopped listening in on the conversation. Namir looked at her seeing something changed in her, "You ok?" he asked lightly nudging her. Solstice just nodded as she shook her thoughts away. Before Solstice realized it Eclipsetess had walked up to her giving her a letter. She'd never gotten mail before not even from Namir. Namir gave a small nod as in a way of saying it's alright since he noticed how Solstice was a bit unsure.

     After a moment, Solstice took the letter wondering why she got several, and why Eclipsetess only gave her one. She didn't question it seeing as how it seemed to be something about what Namir wanted to talk to them about earlier. Though she was onto them a bit. Hesitantly, she took the letter and looked at it for a moment before opening it. Solstice read it silently, but she didn't know what to say. She just looked at everyone, "What is this...? I don't get it.." she said quietly as she looked at Namir, "It's from mom and dad..."

     Namir eyes widened as he took the letter and quickly read through it. "Solstice...I..." he wasn't sure what to say. He didn't even think she would ever get one of these letters. The stallion let out a sigh, "You were one day old when our parents had been sent away for some secretive mission of some sort. Two days later I was walking through the area they had passed through, and I found their bodies....."

     Namir didn't think now would be the time Solstice would find out the truth about their parents, "I'm sorry I lied to you for these few years, but I couldn't bring myself to tell you the truth. I did it to protect you not knowing if you were in any kind of danger, but they loved you. Adored you. It pained them that they had to leave, but they didn't have a choice. That necklace was mother's. There was no lie about that..."

     Solstice just took in the information not sure what to think or say. Over time she just looked at Namir, "I...understand....but you didn't have to keep the truth from me for so long....it would have been nice to know I would never meet them.." she said slowly and quietly as she looked back down. She tried to hide the few tears that came to her eyes, but she just couldn't. Namir just sighed feeling bad, but she had to know at some point. He just never thought this would be the way she found out.

     Solstice just ignored the conversation Eclipsetess and Azulia were having. She just stayed silent not sure what to do, say, or think. All she did was glance at the letter then back at her mother's necklace she wore around her neck. Solstice just looked at the two objects back and forth. Namir opened his mouth about to say something, but he didn't. 

     Though the saddened atmosphere seemed to vanish once the ground started to shake. Namir quickly got onto his hooves before he nudged Solstice, "Get up and stay close to me. Whatever you do don't leave my side," he said as Solstice listened to her brother. She struggled getting onto her hooves with the shaking ground, but she managed with Namir's help. The stallion's horn began to glow getting the feeling that this wasn't natural. Someone must have caused it.

     Solstice was too focused on sticking to her brother's side like glue and the shaking ground to notice she had opened her wings. She didn't even notice as she started flapping her wings and was soon barely hovering just off the ground. It wasn't until Solstice didn't feel the shaking earth that she noticed. Namir did as well, "Solstice this isn't the time. Put those wings away and stay beside me." he said.

     Solstice nodded as she did as she was told, "I'm sorry...I didn't do it on purpose..." she said as Namir never talked to her in the voice she did. All her attention went to the strange laugh everyone heard. "W-who is that? Where's that laughing coming from..?" she asked but Namir only hushed her. He told her to stay quiet and stay hidden. She looked down doing as she was told. Though she did notice all the ooze coming from Eclipsetess's horn and it worried her, but she didn't say anything not wanting to anger her brother.

     Namir looked around as his hooves seemed to be glued to the ground. His muscles were tensed as he looked around, "Who are you!? Show yourself!" he called out before glancing at Solstice making sure she did what he told her to do. None of them knew if this possible threat was after Solstice or not.

"Ooh a toughie eh? Come find me!" the mare said, then a burst of lightning knocked Eclipsetess to the ground, she was unconscious.

Azulia then heard a thud when she looked at Eclipsetess knocked out the sky, then a mare and stallion came out of the brush, Azulia sensed that they were evil. Scorn ran to where the mare and stallion were, they barely had any scars, yet Azulia sensed greater magic in them. Even if they were regular horses.. Scorn knew who these nasty horses where..

"You. Really?! You come back to take my ladies from me?!" Scorn said protectively, Azulia's eyes flashed different colors until they blended into a rainbow.

The mare and stallion looked at each other before they summoned a couple of nasty creatures, they had a cerberus and giant snake, Scorn backed up as he began running, the mares shortly followed behind when Azulia shot off a bolt of heavy thunder onto the creatures behind the two horses.

"BAhahaha! Do you really think that you can get us? How wrong are you?!" the mare then raised a hoof at Azulia as a dragon was flying at her, Eclipsetess just had Azulia on the side of her,  as her wing completely blocked the dragon magic. being used.

"I need you to fly.." Eclipsetess paused, she had no strength to carry on, "The magic is fading.." Eclipsetess said as wings formed on Azulia's back, she then flew to Solstice's side as Eclipsetess did the same thing.

"Grab the mare and stallion." the evil mare said, Scorn was chased off so the four didn't know who they were, then the stallion stepped forward as constellation magic formed above his head.

"No.." Eclipsetess whispered, her voice was soft as she was surprised, Azulia saw the magic and tried to summon water magic.

"So they can do constellation and dragon magic huh?" Azulia said as Eclipsetess started to bleed as wounds were forming, most of the blood was black and the rest where red.

The mare then used some type of cloaking magic as she then opened a silent portal for the four, bringing them to a different world, and everyone was separated from each other. Solstice separated from Namir, Eclipsetess, and Azulia, the other three were the same..

The mare then said something as they fell together, "You must find your way out~! Alone.. No help, no nothing, soon you'll realize where you are.." the mare said as she closed the portal quickly, the stallion just laughed as they left the area.


Eclipsetess soon woke up to be in a dark room, probably a dungeon since she was in a cave, then she realized that she had traps in front of her, everyone's separated room were the same. Azulia the began to scream into the abyss, Eclipsetess heard nothing but wind. They were all far away from each other and had no way of getting out..


Azulia used her horn to light her path, Eclipsetess then did the same, she was able to summon the book that Solstice had, and she was lucky enough to have been able to copy the book with her remaining magic left, Azulia then had a book in front of her with a bookmark and magical floating bubble, it opened itself for Azulia to read what it had..

Eclipsetess's book did the samething as she hoped the books would help, and they probably did the samething with Solstice and Namir, Eclipsetess then began to walk forward, examining the traps before she thought brilliantly, Azulia did the same thing.

     Namir only snorted as he stomped his hoof leaving a perfect indent of his hoof in the dirt, "I said show yourself! I won't use my magic until you give me a reason to," he said angrily. Seconds later a bolt of lightning appeared from nowhere and struck Eclipsetess. "No.." he said as his ears were perfectly aligned with his neck at that point, nostrils flared. Namir snorted angrily as a mare and stallion showed themselves. "What do you want with us? If it's my sister your after, you're not going to lay a hoof on her!" he said before quickly making sure Solstice was still beside him.

     "Eclipsetess!" Solstice called out as she watched the mare fall. She was about to run over to her, but she saw the look Namir gave her, so she stayed put. It wasn't until she saw the unfamiliar mare and stallion appear as she got as close to her brother as she could. Solstice tried to do something with her horn, but she failed. Not even a spark of anything. Now while the others were about to fight back, she had to stick to her brother's side. Useless like always, but she was also scared. Never has Solstice experienced something like this before.

     Solstice watched everything that happened. She watched as Scorn came running over before he ran off when the two creatures appeared. Solstice just looked down when she saw the two creatures. She was frightened, but she never left her brother's side. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed the dragon heading towards Azulia. She stood there unable to do anything until she watched Eclipsetess block the magic with her large wing. 

     Namir stomped his hoof again as his horn glowed some more. A ball of fire then shot from his horn as it headed straight for the mare and the stallion. Though their magic was stronger then his own as the stallion made it vanish into thin air. It wasn't until that moment that Namir looked at Solstice, "Go! Get out of here! It's not safe. They are after you and me..." he said nudging her. He always feared some were after Solstice, but he never thought they would be after him as well. His sister was more valuable and important then him, but he said nothing about that matter.

     Solstice was about to run before Azulia and Eclipsetess were at her side. She only looked at Eclipsetess worried about her. She had wounds all over her body as it seemed ooze...or black blood was all over her body. Before she even realized it, Solstice was sucked into a portal. She tried her best to fight the force that drove her towards the portal, but she was too weak. She didn't even have a chance. Solstice was in a unknown world.

     Suddenly Solstice awoke. She more of jolted awake as she quickly got up looking around. Solstice noticed she was in some sort of cave. She didn't care about where she was as much as she cared about being in the dark...alone. "Namir..!? Eclipsetess..!?" she called out, but all there was, was her echo. She was completely alone. Solstice had never been completely alone before, and she started to freak out too scared to do anything let alone take a step.

     Solstice didn't even pay attention to the book. She just stood there trembling. She was too scared to move or do anything. Namir did the same as Solstice except he noticed the same book his sister had been reading beside him. He read some pages that it opened to before he started to find his way out of wherever he was. Namir knew he just had to find Solstice before anything had happened to her. 

When Eclipsetess was lead into a large chamber, the mare was casting her shadows when the unfamiliar mare was on the wall, Eclipsetess was ready to fight. With her horn ready to attack, then when the mare poked her head out, Eclipsetess noticed something on her head before the got larger and looked hideous as it was a hydra that was able to shift it's heads, Eclipsetess could not do anything unless she ran. And she did, longer then she could flying.


Meanwhile Azulia was walking into a large room, this was covered in water, deepened and she couldn't see anything below, Azulia dipped a hoof before another dragon appeared, this one was actually a sea serpent. Azulia guessed that it was able to dig channels to have a larger room beneath.

Then the serpent used it's neck to lounge at Azulia, she used the wings Eclipsetess gave her and flew around the beast, wings out and horn ready to attack. Then she began attacking the creature, the creature used it's tail to wack Azulia out of the air, she used her magic to cloak and become invisible.

Azulia managed to get around the serpent as he began searching the water, Azulia then ran and continued to run straight. Far away from the creature, when Azulia was far away enough, she began calling her friends..

Eclipsetess heard Azulia's voice as her magic was restored to full strength, then she shot a harmless fire ball to find Azulia, and when Azulia did the same thing, a loud crackling shot was heard, Azulia and Eclipsetess ran as they reached the chamber..

They were happy to see each other, they guessed that Namir could have heard the shot, because they did the samething for Namir and Solstice. When the shot was heard, Azulia and Eclipsetess began to run towards the shot before getting led to another chamber.

"Do you think that we should wait?" Eclipsetess asked Azulia, Azulia shrugged her shoulder's before looking and sniffing around the room for anything useful.

Eclipsetess did the samething as Azulia found nothing on her side, then Eclipsetess made a lantern appear, she used the same magic as the lantern was from the book, the lantern floated by itself as it stood where it was.

"Do you think.. Namir heard the shot? Because if he did, then he would be close, and being close means that he's walking!" Azulia shouted, she figured it out, Eclipsetess then summoned a fireplace to stay warm next to, Azulia just sat next to the fire and laid her head down.

"Do you think Solstice heard the crackling shot?" Eclipsetess asked worriedly, she was very worried, Azulia got up to comfort Eclipsetess.

"We only hope that she did, if not, then she is sitting and not doing anything. Because if she stayed where she was (or is), then she won't be able to hear anything.." Azulia's voice died off at the end, Eclipsetess could tell that she needed time to process everything.
