Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Vitani nodded politely to Ava, "Pleasure to meet you Ms. Ava." She turned her head back to the two males and suggested "Water buffalo maybe? Or how about the gazelles?"

Tarzan nodded and ran out side roaring. The Guard soon gathered, realizing Revarta, Zuberi and Marzipan had not yet arrived.

Ava nodded, smiling. "I'm glad to meet you."

"Water buffalo......." KJ began to purr with pleasure, drooling, and started scratching the rocks with his sharp claws. Marzipan chuckled. "How about if you and Ava are the chasers? Startle the herd while KJ and I take our quarry down? Wait." He pricked his ears and groaned. "Are you serious? Aw man........ I gotta go. Dang it. The Lion Guard needs me. Of all the times!!!!" He ran off grumbling to himself. KJ sighed, "Oh, there's my sister calling for her Warriors. Dang. How about later Vitani?" He trotted off, leaving Ava with Vitani.

Kacy roared again and within minutes; Moyo, Valido, Brutus, and KJ were standing in front of her and Cali. "I need you Warriors to be on alert 24/7. We have a serious threat. But, if you see any strange dog-like creatures. DO NOT ATTACK THEM. They will attack and kill you for they travel in a huge pack. Come back to the Great Rock and inform me at once." The males all bowed to her and raced off to be on border patrol; stepping up on their scent marking and clawing the rocks, trees, and hard ground. Instead of taking one side of the border apiece, they went in a group of four, worked the three other borders quickly, and worked the border between the Nomad's Land and the Savanna really well.

Zuberi pricked his big ears, trumpeted, and ran as fast as he could to where Bahari and the rest of the Lion Guard were; scaring several gazelle and zebra herds along the way.

(Night guys! )

Vitani nodded and watched them leave, saying a silent prayer to keep them both safe. She turned to Ava with a smile and asked "Do you have any cubs Ms. Ava?" Her heart seemed to stop for a moment as one of the cubs kicked, making her slightly wince.

Ava smiled. "I do!" She sat yawning. "Two rambunctious boys. Jua and Uri." Her rounded ears twitched as the long grass surrounding them shook, and two lions rushed out, tackling Ava. "Urgh!" She bit the darker's ear, whom squealed and butt-scooted away. Ava, still squirming under the larger pale male, she grabbed his paw gently in her mouth, and slightly twisted it. The young lion shot in the air, squawking. "MooOOOm!" He chirped. "Don't do that!!"

Marzipan, Zuberi, and the rest of the Lion Guard stood before their rulers, nodding, and determined to do their best to protect all who lived in the Savanna and defend the Circle of Life.

The doles rested, stuffed from eating over 20 gazelle, and leaving the rest of the herd slaughtered (about 25 others); rotting in the hot sun, to the horror of Zuza, who spied them while flying overhead. She reported to Kacy this latest grave news, who snarled, and paced on the ledge as she thought deeply of a plan. She decided that she would have the entire pride on high alert, stationed on high points of the Savanna, three lionesses to each lookout station. Kacy finally turned to Zuza and told her what to do. "Go. Warn all the herds. Tell them to be on high alert and be ready to defend themselves. If any birds hang out with the herds, ask them to keep a bird's eye view, and to come to us if any trouble arises. We have the hyena's, King Solo, and King Koki's support. I have not managed to get hold of King Hula nor Zala to get their support. I am also trying to get hold of Sengo and Areli. This is a threat to us all......." Zuza bowed deeply, "At once my Queen!!!" She took off, her lovely purple, white, and black feathers shining in the sunlight, and disappeared to deliver the message. Kacy and Cali roared, to gather the entire pride together, so as to tell them what they needed each member to do. "Some will need to stay here and protect all the cubs. Wait, WHERE'S HJ AND TALI?!" Cali shrieked in alarm.

The two lovebirds in question were still happily playing in the fields of flowers on the edge of the jungle, purring, spending lots of time together, and basically having the times of their lives. They didn't know that they were being stalked, by several doles, who decided to rid these pests. HJ was laughing, when he smelled something strange, stopped, Tali stopped beside him, looking at his angry face, then smelled the strange scent herself. "What on earth?!" When the grasses parted and ten rust-colored doles entered the clearing snarling. "Kill 'em." Their leader said, the doles approached the two young rulers, who began to snarl back, bared their fangs, unsheathed their claws, and began to fight with the doles. Dust rose, angry roaring, snarling, barking, and then yelps of pang came out of the dusty cloud. Only two doles escaped, severely injured, almost fatally, while HJ and Tali stalked back to the Great Rock carrying eight dead doles on their backs. They wanted to know what on earth were these strange creatures that attacked them and figured their parents would know. Neither HJ nor Tali were injured, if anything, they only had their fur mussed up, but that could be easily repaired by a bath, and a good grooming.

(*pokes In head* sorry for interrupting, but on the older Ev I had a character on here; his name was Sprocket. Should I go ahead and fill out another form for him or just dropp in?)

Tarzan raised his head. "Alright!" Bahari pricked her ears and stood proudly with her father. "You're training has done all of you well." His dark eyes flickered from each lion, elephant, bird, gazelle, and cheetah. "I'm letting you do this, alone." He stepped aside, and the old guard followed. "We will be on another border, if you need us, send one of the birds, Kane will come, and if he needs me, he knows what to do. " Tarzan turned to look his daughter straight in the face. "Do not attack them. Ever. Use the roar if they attack you." She nodded, and stood, unsheathing her claws. "Until the Savannah ends!" She yelled, and the. The rest of the Guard with her as they ran or flew off, "LION GUARD DEFEND!"

Ava pricked her ears, hearing something in the grass, "Vitani, boys, we have to go." Jua and Uri squeaked when they saw eyes peeping out from the grass. "Run!" Their mother yelled at them as a dust cloud of yelping and barking formed behind them. The three lions bolted for their lives, and hid among the scented bushes that Malka had planted. They watched as the dog like creatures paused, and then ran off towards a zebra herd. "That's Ginelly's herd!" Ava gasped.

(I would make another character, just drop it in the SU's. Most of the characters from the old one are long gone. )

HJ and Tali arrived back at the Great Rock, to their mother's relief, and then gasped when they saw the dead Doles on their backs. "What are these things mother? We were attacked by a pack of ten and only two escaped with multiple injuries." HJ told Kacy, who was surprised the two future rulers weren't injured at all, and smiled with pride. "Very good job, defending yourselves. These are Doles. They are not native to Africa and are a severe threat to us all. You must be careful from now on if you encounter Doles again. RUN if you ever see them again." Kacy told them, Cali nodding to support her instructions, then a white egret flew in alarm towards them, squawking, and landed panting desperately. "Your highness!!!! The Doles!!! Attacking!!!! The Zebra's!!!!" Kacy growled, "Which zebras? Which herd?!" She demanded, to which the egret flew up into the air, to get away from her angry Queen, and squawked before flying off. "Ginelly's family herd!!!!! The sacred herd!!!!" "GINELLY'S HERD?!" All those who heard this cried out in alarm and Kacy roared the alarm roar for only those with special powers to hear. "FATHER!!!!!!!! We need your help!!!!!!!"

Her cry rang out everywhere, all who had hearing to hear anything, namely, Queen Sassy of the Earth, heard it. She pricked her ears, could hear the urgency in the voice, growled, and got up. "Get up Lumvi, you lazy oaf. Sounds like our niece needs our help." She walked over to her cupboard, got out the cloak of invisibility, put it on, then walked outside, stretched her long golden brown wings out, shook her entire body, roared, and took off towards the Savanna to answer that plea for help.

Ava also heard the cry for help, whimpered in concern for her sister, and cousin. Looked around for Orbit and their four sons; who were now responsible lions and very strong. She decided to go help as well and took off.

The hyena clan were very watchful and careful to keep track of all the Doles movements. They saw that a good sized group of Doles were going after a small Zebra herd and were quite alarmed by it. Some of the young hyena's, who were wanting to be hero's, ran after the Doles, and disregarded Freya's frantic orders totally. A nasty fight broke out, the zebra's bolted in terror, and some from both groups were killed; mostly the hyena's, the Doles ran after the panicked herd of zebra, while the wailing hyena clan gathered their murdered young members together to conduct their tribal burial ceremony as tears soaked the dry dusty earth.

Ginelly's ears pricked upon hearing her name. Her eyes widened for I moment before her brows narrowed and her dark eyes were filled with fire. She let out a blood curdling battle cry and launched forwards, only to be blocked by Tarzan. "No, we can't loose you too." Losing the point in the battle, the zebra settled, and the old Guard ran off towards the attack.

Lumvi grunted, his dark golden wings wrapped over his head. "Babe," he moaned. "Now?" He stood, shaking out his slightly graying mane, and roared, calling back to his niece, and siblings.

(Did you mean Aalia?)

Orbit heard the cry, and turned. Gazing down, he roared for his sons, and dove towards ground, it had been years since he had been there, and he was excited, as well as serious.

(My bad..... that is who I meant)

Aalia flew towards the Savanna, towards the cry for help, for she recognized Kacy's roar, and led her family.

Sassy growled as she flew back into the den and looked at Lumvi. "Yes darling. At least I must go. Kacy needs my help. There is a serious threat to all of my subjects living in and around the Savanna. You don't have to come. I'm sorry for demanding you come with me. You can stay here and guard the Enchanted Forest if you wish. Come Sammy and Lonnie!!!!! Lassie, you stay with your father. If he follows, then of course you may come too. However, for now, you two can stay home if you wish. I need the boys for this one" She called for two of their three children, who immediately responded, their golden, brown, and white pelts mixing in well into the shadows and highlights of the Enchanted Forest. They immediately followed their mother, leaving Lassie pouting, and then looking at her father. "Daddy? Aren't we going to follow? You aren't that old yet!!!!"

Lumvi huffed. "Fine," he grumbled. "I'd love to see my brothers and sisters." The lion flapped his large wings and followed his mate and sons. "Come on Lassie."

Lassie growled with eagerness, her strong wings taking off her off the ground fast, and catching up with her mother and brothers fast. Lonnie growled at his twin sister, flying just a bit faster, she took the challenge, and they were soon racing to see who could fly faster. Sassy rolled her eyes and slowed down to fly beside Lumvi. "Those two are competing again. Won't they ever outgrow it?" She rolled her eyes as she smiled with love at her three children, and then gave her heir, Sammy, whose full name was Samson, a proud look as he flew calmly between the competing siblings, and his parents.

Kacy and Cali continued to plot their plan, while HJ, and Tali walked back to the pool to bathe; so they could clean up from their fight with the Doles. They jumped in together, scrubbed themselves really well, and then climbed out to dry off on the rocks. Tali looked around for Vitani and sighed when she didn't spy her right away. She liked her and hoped to talk to her some more.

The Doles felt that no one could stop them, as there were so many of them (over 300 Doles), and many of the females were pregnant with pups; some of which had given birth in the past two weeks they had been there. They didn't fear the lions, much, and certainly didn't fear the hyenas at all. They had easily mowed right through their ranks several times and hardly received a scratch. The Dole commander right now was furious, as only two of his scouting party came back alive (barely), and the rest had been killed by the two future rulers of the lions. He snarled, pacing, then looked hard at the two who had given him the news, who fell over from exhaustion, and were immediately attacked by their comrades; as with their "pack", it was the survival of the fittest, and these two weren't certainly fit anymore. The Commander growled, pacing, and then sent five scouting/hunting/fighting forces of 20 Doles each into the Savanna to attack all the herds. He figured that the current residents wouldn't dare to attack that many Doles and smiled cunningly.

Vitani followed Ava and her sons into the bushes, waiting for the Doles to leave. Her ears perked up as she heard the frightening roar of Kacy, her heart dropped from her rib cage as she feared for her mate. Kings of the heavens, I plead with you to keep my mate, Marzipan, safe as he defends our pride. When she heard the sound of two lions jumping into the pool, she rushed over towards them once she noticed it was Kacy and Tali. "Excuse me for disturbing your bath but I must ask. Are the Defenders of the Golden City still alive? " Her voice was desperate to know, and her eyes shown worry.

Ravarta ruffled his mane out a bit, as he paced back and forth, staying at his guard position. He had no fear in his heart about the Doles, but he was worried about the pride's safety.

Areli's jumped up when he heard the roar, his fur standing up. Part of the scarred lion's heart wanted to go and protect the pride, but then his love for his mate and cubs, kept him in the den as he paced.
