Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Teferi woke up about 1/4 mile away from where he had the cub pinned, groaned in pain, shook his head, grimaced when it felt like a million bees buzzing in his head, and stumbled back home. "Oh man....... that wasn't the heir. How stupid can I be??? Going after Tarzan's daughter......"

"He obviously wandered off while we were spending time with the cubs. I think he's jealous of HJ for being the future King." Kacy sighed, a bit frightened that their sons would be just like Mufasa and Scar of old.

(I'm going swimming at 1pm central time, just letting ya'll know. )

Areli waddled back to her bed, curled up as best as she could, and fell asleep fairly fast.

Teferi limped back to his den, passed by Dollu, smiled sheepishly at her, and laid down on their bed.

(I can't go anymore, it started raining. :c )

Dollu looked up at her mate, her eyes squinted slightly, showing she was suspicious. "What have you been up to?" she asked slyly, twining her tail with his and leaning against him. She kissed his lip sweetly, resting her head under his head.

Vitani found herself a little shady spot, laying down on her back and looking up at the sky. Her eyes made the illusion that Marzipan was a cloud, staring at her with his cute smile. A sigh breathed from her lips as she daydreamed about him.

"Heeheeheehee...... maybe trying to get rid of Kacy's heir??? But, accidentally picking on Tarzan's daughter instead??? Wow, let me tell you, don't try to get her. She blew me 1/4 mile away with that roar of hers!!!!! Like father, like daughter." He sheepishly admitted to Dollu before hiding his face with his long mane.

Marzipan was thinking about all sorts of things. First, there was his sister, who had just discovered that she had been given the privilege of the Roar of the Elders, which meant she was the next Leader of the Lion Guard. He figured he'd be either the strongest or the bravest. He was very strong for a cub his age and very brave. But right now, all he could think about was Vitani. She was about 15 miles away, but it felt like a million miles away, for unless you were permitted to live or visit there, you weren't allowed in the Jungle of Zala. He missed her terribly and wondered if he would ever see her again.

Munar finally got tired of being alone, also, as much as he hated to admit it, he liked using his soft siblings as his pillows. So, he sneaked back after taking his nap, and his parents eyed him with suspicion, but didn't ask where he had been.

Tears streamed down her golden pelt as the cloud slowly faded. Oh how she wished Marizpan was beside her, playing with her under the blazing sun. Maybe she could see him again one day.

Dollu giggled, amused at him as she put her paw over his neck. "You're cute, you know that?" she cooed, purring and licking his head.

"You're not mad at me??? I could've been killed!!! But I swear, I'll make that cub pay. I'll make them all pay. Soon, very soon baby, we will be King and Queen of Africa!!! I'm through with trying to take over the Savanna. That's small potatoes. I am going to take over the Golden City!!!" He smiled at her and then broke into a wicked grin.

The sun was setting, so Zala, and Kuizmu got off duty, tired from chasing off several troublesome monkey's that wanted to live in the newly restored Golden City about fifty times that day. They were both worn out, so they bathed in the river that flowed over the ridge into the Golden City in a huge cascade, and trotted home. Kuizmu smiled when he saw his daughter, sneaked up on her, and pounced on her gently. "Wanna go hunting with your daddy????" He asked, while Sunny watched a short distance away, hidden deep in the thick underbrush, and sighed with a smile. She liked Kuizmu, her father had nothing but high praise for him, and really liked his daughter.

"I guess.." Vitani sighed, standing up and looking down at her paws. Her head hung a little low, you could tell she was down. "Daddy, will this be our home, forever?" she asked, looking up at him with teary eyes. I could never tell him how much I disliked the place, and how much I missed my friend, Marzipan.

Dollu watched him grin devilishly, something that sent a shiver down her spine. Slowly she moved both of her paws on top of his back, giving him a deep and relaxing massage. "Teferi, promise me one thing?" she whispered into his ears as she massaged him.

"Anything for you baby. Anything..... I promise you the biggest diamonds Africa can provide!!!" Teferi swore. He grinned, enjoying her massage, and purred.


"I don't know. The only thing I know is that until the power is restored in the Golden City for the King of Africa, we are to stay here. Zala may have been promised a long life, but he needed me." Kuizmu sighed. "If you don't want to go hunting, I'll catch dinner for us. How about a fat and juicy monkey? Several monkey's were giving us a very hard time today and I wouldn't mind eating them."

"Let me always be your favorite mate, even if you will have 50 other lionesses, please, let me be your favorite." she begged, stopping massaging him and looking at him with pleading eyes. It was very important to Dollu that she wouldn't be pushed aside when he became popular and all the other lionesses begged to be his mate.

Vitani nodded following her father wherever he went. "I'll help you Daddy, I need to cheer myself up by spending some time with you." she sighed, leaning against him and nuzzling his shoulder.

Kuizmu, though he was an extremely stern, and vicious looking lion; had a very soft spot for his family. He was determined to make sure she stayed safe, grew up well, and was trained well. "Okay. Stay down and be quiet, I hear those monkey's in the trees up ahead." He growled slightly, sneaking through the underbrush, and arriving just below the young banana tree the monkey's were eating in. The leader of the monkey's did a whoo whoo whoo sound and fussed as he stuffed his mouth full of banana. "I hate Zala and that new General of his!!! What's wrong with us living in the Golden City??? Many monkey's live in the ruins of cities so we have just as much right to live there as anywhere!!!" Another monkey, the smart one of the group, though nobody listened, "Yes that may be so, but there is a curse on that city to anyone who is not supposed to be there. I don't want to be cursed." The other monkey's mocked him and continued to stuff their mouths full of banana. "We'll take over at night. That way, they aren't on guard duty." The leader declared, the others chirped their agreement, but the smart one disagreed again. "Are you nuts?! Leopards are on guard duty at night and you can't see them until you are caught!!! No way!!!" The other monkey's sneered at him, calling him a coward, pushed him out of the tree, but he caught another branch nearby, and sulked in a nearby tree. Then, something rustled in the underbrush, which caught his attention, he pricked his ears, looked closely, and spied Kuizmu with his daughter hunting his troop! "Guys!!!! Look out!!! Kuizmu is hunting us!!!! Look out below!!!" He screeched the warning, but the others just laughed, "You ain't part of our troop anymore. I don't hear you.... Besides, that lion is far away from here." They refused to listen to him, so he sighed, shook his head, and jumped from tree to tree to find their family group. He had only gone along with his friends to keep them from mischief, but when they refused to listen to him time and time again, he finally gave up. Kuizmu grinned at the foolish monkey's and whispered to Vitani. "Foolish monkey's are the best tasting monkey's. I'll shake the tree and when they fall; we'll eat like royalty!"

"Oh, I can't let anyone else be my favorite mate. Your my doll. They won't be anything compared to you Doll." Teferi swore and meant it. He wanted a huge pride to have lots of cubs with, but Doll was his Queen, and he would spoil her for the rest of her life. "The first thing I'm going to do as King of Africa is sentence Sengo and Areli to death. They had no right to treat you like that......." He purred even more, already enjoying his power, even though he hadn't gotten it yet, and never would.
