Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Sunny angrily snarled at Dollu and slapped her face HARD. "I won't talk about that with YOU........" Though she knew that this rogue lioness was right in what she said. They should've told Vitani earlier.

Teferi and Kuizmu continued to fight, angrily tearing at each other, horrible roars ringing out over the Nomad's Land, attracting the attention of a nearby parliment of vultures, who began to circle overhead for the loser. Suddenly, a cry of ultimate pain rang out, desperate roaring, then nothing. When the dust finally cleared, Teferi was standing on Kuizmu's body, roaring in triumph. "Come on Dollu. Let's leave him to be pecked to death by those dumb vultures." He grunted, racing by Dollu, giving Sunny and Vitani a nasty look, and disappearing into the grass. "NO!!!!!! Kuizmu!!!" Sunny screamed, running up to a mortally wounded Kuizmu, who struggled to raise his head, and weakly called for Vitani. "My darling daughter. I am so sorry. I should've told you.... I should've told you.........." He moaned, laying his head down, and breathed his last. Sunny cried harder, snarled, and chased off the vultures who swooped down for a meal.

Vitani trembled, gazing at her dead father and roaring a painful roar. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been so selfish...I should have ignored my emotions and forced myself to be happy for you two..." she cried, laying down beside his head and nuzzling him. "Daddy...please wake up..." she whispered repeatedly, pawing at his mane and crying desperately.

(I'm fixing to cry...)

"I'm sorry too Vitani. Your father and I weren't sure how you would take the news of him falling in love again. I wish I had never fallen for him and then this never would've happened. It's my fault, it's my fault." Sunny cried, picking up her dead mate's body, and carrying it into the Jungle to bury him. She buried him right by the waterfall that they often met at to spend together, and then told her father; to which Zala could hardly believe he was dead and cried deeply for his friend. After the funeral, Sunny sat on a rock, staring at the open path to the Nomad's Land, and growled. "You will pay Teferi. You will pay. Vitani and I shall have our revenge."

Teferi laughed maliciously, as he ran around Dollu, and showed off. "Ha!!! That'll teach that old man who dared to take my betrothed away from me and get me exiled. But, Azola wasn't worth half of what YOU are worth Doll. Though, that revenge sure was sweet in my teeth."

Vitani

Vitani gazed at Sunny for a few moments before speaking up "I'm taking you to Areli, then I want you to promise me you'll find a mate." She had made up her mind what she was going to do.

"Once you are settled near Areli, I will be leaving. I am sorry but I do not consider you my mother, even after this horrible tragedy. I would never have spoken a harsh word if my father and you told me before you even started a relationship. Especially becoming mates without even telling me! That's the one thing I can't forgive you two for, and neither can I forgive myself for my father's death." she spoke after a sigh.

"I will be fine, I just want to live by myself in silence. One day I shall return and visit my father's cubs. But please, honor my father by finding a mate to protect the cubs."

Dollu

I watched him strut in a circle around me, obliviously proud of himself for killing the lion. "I am proud of you, but the only lion I feel sorry for is that poor cub. Despite my hatred for Sengo and Areli, I do have a motherly compassion for cubs." she spoke, keeping her eyes locked on him.

"Sorry, but unless it's one of my cubs, I don't tolerate the cub of a rival." Teferi grunted, continuing to trot around her, and having a smirk on his face.

Sunny nodded, walked towards the Savanna, but expressed her concern. "But, you're only 7 months old!!! How can you survive without someone to protect you Vitani? Are you going back to the Great Rock??? At least your friend Marzipan is there!" Zala headed the other way, found Kito and Aziza with their three cubs in the Forest/Jungle border, talked with them, both nodded, and Kito promised to help Zala out.

(Is there any single lions in the Savanna Pride??? I don't think so....)

Vitani shook her head, "My father taught me well in how to protect myself. I will be safe, when I turn about...four, then I'll return to the Great Rock, but not any sooner." She stopped in front of Areli's den, letting out a booming roar so Areli would come outside.

Dollu raised an eyebrow at this but concluded it was just a feeling all lionesses felt. "Why don't we play a game, like hide and seek? I haven't played that game in ages." she suggested, feeling a playful mood today.

(Can I go ahead and message Mystic? )

(Yes please.... I wouldn't mind fast forwarding things. Getting bored. And you can make a male if you want. :))

"I know he did. If we had told you, this may not have happened. Of course, if I had never fallen for your father, this never would've happened either. I'm a fool. You have every right to hate me. I can't blame you." Sunny looked away, Areli came waddling out, and looked with surprise at the two. "Sunny?! I haven't seen you in years..... What are you doing here???" Sunny looked with surprise at Areli. "Are you pregnant? But how??? Oh....." When she spied Sengo behind Areli and smiled sadly.

"Why not????" Teferi growled playfully, closed his eyes, and started to count to 20.

Tarzan, now 8, had begun to talk with Marrana about retiring from the Guard. She had agreed and began to tell their Cubs about the duties of being part of it.

(Ok, sorry about that. In going to find names for the jack load of Cubs. Lol)

Sunny laid in the entrance of her den, watching her, and Kuizmu's two children wrestling over a monkey that had just been caught. They were now just over 3 years old and getting bigger everyday. The son, Kuznetsk looked just like his deceased father, while the daughter looked a lot like her mother, but had bright blue eyes. Nobody knew where she got the blue eyes, as Sunny had green eyes, and Kuizmu had red. She called for Keno, liking him a lot, but still missed Kuizmu everyday, and wondered if Vitani would ever forgive her.

Marzipan stood proudly before his father, now a muscular 4 almsot 5 year old, with a long mane, and braver than all the lions combined. His sister Bahari and their friends stood with them. The young elephant calf that Areli had healed of a broken trunk was standing there. He had recovered completely and was a very strong bull elephant named Zuberi, which meant "strong" in Swahili.

(You can decide who else is to be on the Lion Guard, but perhaps a bird for the Keenest of Sight?)

Vitani went out for a nice, drink of water from the watering hole, her golden pelt glowing under the sun. She was now all grown up, and a beauty too. Under that lovely appearance was a feisty lioness, knowing too well, male lions' intentions. Her heart still ached for her father and for Marzipan, remembering how it used to be three years ago.

Alina pranced over to Star in their den, giving him a loving lick on the cheek as the cubs continued to sleep. "My you're handsome today!" she complemented him in a cheery tone, rubbing her face against him. A sweet purr filled whispered into his ears as she kissed his cheeks.

Dollu now about a week pregnant, still hadn't told her mate about it. "Teferi?" she called out, readying herself to tell him. She looked the same she did three years ago, except maybe a little more sweet.

Sengo awoke from a nap, padding over to Areli and the cubs, greeting her with a nuzzle. "Hello my precious dove.." he purred, pressing his face against her neck and licking the side of her cheek.

(Yes, except for the role of the leader. :) I'll play Marzipan and Zuberi. You and Enchanted can play the others :))

Areli purred deeply against her mate, happy, and pregnant once more. Their two cubs were now strong 3 year old's and out hunting at the moment. She had since left the role of Healer to Malka full time so she could spend all her time and energy with Sengo.

Teferi walked over, carrying a gazelle he had poached from the Savanna, and dropped it by her with a big smile. "What is dear? I am plotting of finding that elusive Golden City first thing in the morning."

Dollu grinned, twining her tail with his and rubbing her face against him. She laid a passionate nuzzle on his cheek, looking up into his eyes. "You're going to be a Daddy." she spoke adoringly, licking his snout all the while.

"A daddy?! Alright!!!!!!!" Teferi roared in delight and knocked her over to lick her face over and over again all the while purring like crazy.

(So they are mates? Keno and Sunny?)

Keno pricked his ears and stood, padding over to Sunny. She had taught him how to speak mostly normal. "Good day." He smiled.

Skano, a crimson-breasted Shrike, stood atop Zuberi, fluffing up her feathers, ruffling the mark on her shoulder. She was excited to finally be part of the guard, as the Keenest of sight, with her brother, Krebu. Kubadili, the daughter of Kane and Kalina (I'm sworry. 😬) stood somewhat behind Zuberi, with a young gazelle named Gecha. They were the Fastest. Kuba's ruffled, patched pelt showed her unease. Bahari, the leader, beamed as her father, and the previous Guard, sat before them. Tarzan approached her and they touched noses. As did Lilly with Skano and Krebu,Kane with Kubadili and Gacha, Bamar with Zuberi and ??? (Played by Enchanted) and Ginelly with Marzipan and Kifo. They would now be mentored by the old Guard.

Star looked up at Alina and licked her nose. He had been laying by the cubs while they slept. They were now about 9 months old now, and were loosing their baby fluff.

Malka watched as his and Julie's cubs played hide-and-seek with Cobar and Maua. Alisha was it, and it was Cobar's rule the wings were not to be used, for Alisha had terrible mental breakdowns when she realized she couldn't fly also. Alisha jumped up and had finished counting, and easily spotted Cobar first for he had been hiding in plain view. He helped her find the rest, but Nalia was hardest to find, her golden pelt was able to camouflage right into the rock she hid under. Jumba finally found her and dragged her out, for she had fallen asleep. The little crew all traveled back to Malka and Julie's den, where they rested for a while.

Ava laid with her two Cubs, Alic and Taor, who were wrestling, yelling insults at each other. Tarnic growled at them, and sent them outside, where they fought. Soon, Alic came back whimpering, for Toar nicked his ear. "You're such a baby." Alic mocked.

Sally played with her six month old Cubs, watching them bat at her tail, until one caught it and she whisked it away. Brutus and she had three Cubs, two female and one male. Becka and Dalli cuddled up with their father, and soon fell asleep. (Imma shove the male over to you Enchanted. 😬 Name him whatever. c: )

Yurcombie watched her younger sister chase her stubby tail, and then land on her face. "You goof." She helped little Dafé (daf-ee) up. The small 4 month old cub yawned, curling up by her sister's chest, snoring.




(Whew! That's a lot! And How many Cubs did Star and Alina have?)
