Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Kuizmu smiled and was about to answer when the alarm roar rang out. He looked up and then at Vitani and Marzipan. "I gotta go. Something's up and that's the roar Valido told me to respond too." He snarled/roared when he took off to meet with the other Warriors, who were with Queen Kacy, and urgently talking to Zala, Guardian of the Jungle, since he let his son take over as King. "What's up?" Kuizmu breathlessly asked, panting from running all the way. The others looked at him and Kacy told him. "Zala has informed me something isn't right in the Jungle. That there are signs of someone that will in the near future try to take over the Golden City as the next King of Africa." All the warriors gasped and an indignant roar rang out from Kopa. "Excuse me?! That throne belongs to my family and my family only!!!! No one, but the Cheetah is allowed to reside there!!! You must find this imposer and dispose of him at once!!!" Kopa angrily snarled, all there nodded, and then all looked at Kuizmu. "What? Why are you all looking at me?" He asked in bewilderment. Zala continued to look straight at him and then said, "I need someone trustworthy to help me guard against this coming threat. You....... You might be a rogue at heart, but you have a daughter, and will do what is right for your child. I choose you. Come, we must leave at once. You shall be my General." Zala turned to leave, leaving Kuizmu speechless, and all the others grinning while Kacy encouraged him to go. "This is a once in a life opportunity Kuizmu!!!! Nobody has ever been asked to do what Zala couldn't. He needs you. Go!!!" Marzipan had followed Kuizmu out of curiosity and couldn't believe his ears. Vitani was still by the tree and he raced back to tell her what was going on. "Your daddy is leaving to serve Zala, Guardian of the Jungle right now. I guess this is goodbye." He told her with tears in his eyes. He had grown very fond of Vitani in just a short time and hoped to see her again one day.

Vitani burst into tears, throwing her arms around Marzipan and hugging him tightly. "I'll miss you." she whispered tearfully, reluctantly pulling away and looking at him with tears running down her cheeks. She knew she would not see Marzipan ever again until she was a grown lioness, and that would be a long time, at least 2 years or 1.

"I couldn't let you see me like this. Weak and vulnerable, I'm supposed to be strong for you, and be your perfect mate." sniffled, rubbing her face sadly against his. Alina curled up around him, holding him close.

"I'll miss you....." Marzipan whispered to her, watching her leave with her father, as he followed Zala into the Jungle. When Marzipan and Vitani did see each other again, both won't recognize each other, and when they do; oh watch out! Fireworks are going off!!!

Once they reached the middle of the Jungle, Zala turned to look at Kuizmu, who was staring with uncertainty at all the unknown calls of the birds, the screeches of the monkey's, and the occasional growl of the leopard. "I share this jungle with King Leopold of the Leopards. So, be on the alert. They tend to roam the trees of the Jungle and the Forest. His two sons, Spot and Dot, are troublemakers. Just ignore them if they throw any fruit at you. Their sister, Speckles, is a real sweetheart, and Leopold's heir. Ah!!! Here comes my daughter Sunny." A lovely sun colored lioness came prancing up, her fur indeed looking like the sun's rays during both the sunrise and sunset. Kuizmu could hardly keep his eyes off her, but forced himself to look down, but not before Sunny caught his gaze, and smiled shyly at him. Zala chuckled to himself, for his daughter had said she wasn't interested in having a mate, yet here she was smiling shyly at his new General, and thought there may be hope just yet to be a grandfather from his daughter. His son hadn't found anyone just yet but he figured it was only a matter of time.

Zala then shook his head, storing those thoughts in the back of his mind for now, cleared his throat, interrupting his daughter from her gaze, and said. "First, I shall show you the Golden City. But, we MUST stay on the ridge. No one is allowed to go down the path, for if you do, you and your family shall be cursed forever, which is decided by Mufasa himself. Come." He walked off, Kuizmu grunted for Vitani to come with them, and followed Zala deeper into the Jungle; leaving Sunny thinking about this new lion. "Hmmmmmm......."

Tarzan growled, fir he was frustrated. He stalked back towards the Great Rock, while Ginelly and Lilly sorted out the gazelle herd. When he reached home, he saw that Kane was there already, and he went up into the den. Tarzan climbed up the rock, and laid down by Marrana, as Bahari and Kifo began playing in his mane.

Star gazed at Alina. "Just please baby," he spoke, "tell me what happened." His eyes were full of worry and sadness.

(What happened to Astrid and Cinna?)

(I don't know, maybe bring them back soon).

Three more months flew by, all the young cubs who were only 3 months old at the time when Kuizmu and Vitani left to go live in the Jungle with Zala, were now 6 months old, and were ready to start having their hunting lessons; taught by Kali. She had the time since she had officially declared Cali ready, and now Cali and Kacy ruled as Queen's with their strong Princes' by their sides. Marzipan often played with Stormfly and Whisper, but could not get Vitani out of his mind, as she had a huge impact on him in just the two days they were together. Kali's harsh reprimand jolted him out of his daydream. "Marzipan!!!! This is important. You need to pay attention. And that goes for all of you!!! You young lionesses are the future hunting party and you males are going to be warriors or on your own someday. You all need to know how to hunt and fend for yourselves in case there isn't any big game to work together to take down. If there ever is a drought, the herds will move on for better grazing grounds, and we will be left with only rabbits and mice. So pay attention!!!" The cubs all straightened up and listened.

Little Herex Jr., Macy, and Munar were with their parents during this lesson, as the cubs were only two months old. HJ happily was spending some time with his father, learning how to roar, while Macy purred under her mother's chin as Kacy watched with a soft look at her mate teaching their heir how to roar, while Munar pouted a short distance away, and glared at HJ. "This is so unfair. He gets to be the future king and what I am? Nothing! I never even had a chance!!!" He snarled under his breath that not even his mother could hear him. HJ was standing on a small ledge, Moyo in front of him, and encouraging him to roar as loud as he could; which sounded like a squeaky roar.

"Like I said..one of the cubs died in my womb, which caused me to go into labor. Her name was Utala, I buried her." she spoke stiffly, edging slightly away from him. Alina felt the cubs kicking, she sighed, leaning her head back.

Munar couldn't take this anymore and stalked away. Also, even though his father spend a lot of time with him, Munar felt like it wasn't enough, and stalked deep into the grass to his "secret" spot; which was a opening in a huge pile of rocks that led into a decently sized cave flooded with light from several holes in the ceiling. He laid down on the two furs he had stolen from the storage den and sulked.

Bahari and Kifo shook with excitement. "I can't wait!" She whispered to her brothers. Cobar and Maua stood a short distance away, staring at Kali, flicking their tails. "What are we going to hunt?" The pale cub called out, he was too excited to keep it in.

Cinna sat and watched as Shawari groomed KJ, Talia, and Kaburi. Talia gazed up at Cinna, she liked her. "Hi."

"Mice. There are lots of mice living in the tall grass behind me. I want to see you hunt. One at a time!!!!" She quickly stopped Stormfly and Whisper from leaping in at the same time. So, the two sisters backed off, and Kali looked at Maua. "Go Maua. Catch at least one mouse."

The delicate cub walked out in front of the group, and she looked back at Cobar, who nodded. Maua smirked and crouched, sniffing. As she caught scent of one, she carefully crept towards it, holding her tail still with her ears pricked. Suddenly she dove to the left, and popped back up clutching a dead mouse by his tail.

Star wrapped his wings around her, hugging her, and buried his face in her fur. When he looked up at her, his face was streaked with tears. "I still love you, and put Cubs to come." He told her. "Please don't run off again. Let's go home."

"Good job!!! Put the mouse down in front of you and sit down. Now, it's your turn Cobar." Kali smiled, pleased at his success.

Maua set the mouse down, and smiled. Cobar bounced up, and ran out into the field. He then crouched, and picked his way forwards, before leaping. Squeals were heard before him trotting back, with not one, but two mice dangling from his pale jaws.

Kali smiled with glee and then looked at Marzipan; who was distracted once again. She rolled her eyes, looked at Whisper, who swiftly responded, sneaking through the tall grass, could see the little brown mice scattering in all directions. They were hiding in their holes, she growled, and pounced on one hole; digging her paw in, using her claws, could feel the mice moving inside, hooked something big with her claws, and pulled out; a cobra!!!!! "Eeeeeeeee!!!!" Whisper screamed, throwing the cobra out of the grass, landing right next to Kali, who jumped away when it hissed, opening up its hood, tried to bite her, but thankfully missed, and hissed menacingly at her and the cubs. Whisper poked her head out of the grass to see where the cobra had gone, eyes widened in horror, and she ran to get Tarzan. "Cubs, don't move......" Kali whispered.

"If I have to stay, please let me stay here." she whimpered, letting him wrap himself around her. Alina pressed her face against his face, closing her eyes as their tears mixed. "Why must we suffer?" Alina cried, rubbing her face against him.
