Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

(Can Teferi and Sengo have a short history together but then something happened that split them apart, they got into a fight, which is another reason why Sengo was injured besides his old injuries from Dollu's parents?)

"He used to be my friend. We were rogues together, plotting our takeover as the new rulers of the Savanna, but then he suddenly changed his mind, said that it wasn't right, I grew angry at him, and we got into a nasty fight. After that, we've been bitter enemies, and top it off; I had to choose his mate to be mine and he attacked me!!! That is why my face is completely scarred with one powerful paw swipe, causing me to be blind in my right eye, and fueling my hatred for Sengo. Oh..... do I hate him...... you are not the only one Doll." Teferi spat this out with such hatred and menace that it was clear he wanted revenge on Sengo but didn't know how to do it without Areli there to give him support.

(Sure! Dollu still plans on going to the forest....he could follow her, secretly?)

Dollu didn't say anything more, she ran off to the forest, her feet moving swiftly along the land. She found a cave once she reached the forest, walking into it and laying down in the corner of the tight cave. The room was very small, a little smaller than a horse stall.

Teferi followed, for he didn't want to let her out of his sight, but didn't go into the den to lay with her. Rather, he climbed up in a tree to lay on a large branch where he could see her, and she could see him; but gave her space.

Dollu couldn't fall asleep, even the relaxing sound of rain hitting against the cave could not help her. She slipped out of the cave, going under the tree Teferi was in. "Teferi, could you come down for a moment?" she called out, looking up into the tree and at him.

"Okay." He jumped down and shook the wetness out of his fur. "Yuck, now I wish we were still at my den, at least there was a small cave big enough for us both!!!" He groaned, trying to get his mane to stop frizzing everywhere.

(Think of Diego from Ice Age, the newest one, when they get static electricity in their fur. ;))

Dollu couldn't help but giggle at his hair, gently she nudged him towards the cave. "There is enough room for both of us." she spoke, trusting him that he wouldn't try anything besides maybe a nuzzle. She needed to know he was there, she couldn't bear the thought of being alone.

"Oh okay...." He hesitantly walked in and curled up tightly in the corner; giving Dollu the bulk of room. He felt different, not like when he tried to force his attentions on someone, but rather, respectful, and letting them decide.

Meanwhile....

"Can we please go see the Golden City at least????" Kopa asked again, but Kacy rolled her eyes. "In the rain Kopa? It's hard enough to see the Golden City in the sunlight, but it'd be impossible now, what with this heavy rain causing lots of fog to develop. Besides, I don't even know where the Golden City is!!!! Only Zala does." "But, Zala is old...... How much longer can that old lion live???" Kopa protested, but Kali sighed, "Simple Kopa. He has been granted long life, until the power has been restored to the Throne, which is after the Cheetah dies, and the throneless King of Africa takes his place in the Circle of Life. However, it most likely won't be you. Your son Kuby will most likely be the one to rule after the Cheetah, who has been revealed by Princess Jarkia to be Kane of the Lion Guard. You need to remain patient, otherwise you won't be the King you need to be." Kopa tried to retort but couldn't get any words out of his mouth when the words hit home. "You're right Kali. I need to patient. That's the one thing that I'm not good at." Kali rolled her eyes, "That's your mother's trait. Your father was the most patient lion I had ever seen but your mother? Whew!!! She was super impatient." Kopa nodded in agreement, for it was true.

Dollu followed him into the cave, leaving a sweet nuzzle on his cheek before she moved a little past him, but only by at max one foot. Carefully she laid down onto the cold floor, laying down her head in her paws and closing her eyes slowly. She still could not sleep but pretended to sleep for his sake.

(I got to do some work today. Shower, finish my field experience today, and finish typing that paper. RP with yah later!!!)

Teferi really was tired, fell asleep fast, and as the rains poured down; all the lions in the area curled up tightly, ignoring the lightening and thunder, the howling winds, and the hail that fell down from the dark gray, almost black sky.

Quietly she stood up, walked over to him and laid down in front of him, resting her head against his but that was all. Finally she managed to sleep, delighted to feel his warmth against her fur. "Goodnight.." she purred before going into a light sleep.

Teferi smiled slightly, enjoying her closeness, but decided right then and there that Dollu wasn't one to trifle with, and vowed to wait until she said yes before he did anything.

Overnight she scooted closer and closer to him in her sleep, till she was laying right beside him. She awoke in the morning, the rain still heavy and lightning striking everywhere. Frightened she pressed closer to Teferi, burying her face into his mane.
