Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Sengo walked up behind Areli, standing confidently behind her. He buffed out a little, as a warning sign to the male. "Unless he's Kito I won't let him touch you." he whispered into her ear, nuzzling her cheek sweetly.

"I am positive. He's the living image of Mojo. Oh...... Sengo. Hold me....." She felt her legs crumbling from the shock.

Kito looked at the lioness that was fainting, to her left and behind stood a handsome male, and then looked at Aziza quickly. "I feel as though I know that lioness. The one up ahead that just fainted." Aziza looked at him, "I don't know, but I trust your feelings."

Sengo lifted her up, holding her in his paws and blowing on her face gently, trying to wake her. He kissed her muzzle, hoping that might wake her. "Areli, it'll be alright, please wake up my dear..." he whispered.

"Is she alright?" Kito asked with concern, Areli woke up when she heard his voice, and dreamily said, "Mojo, you came back to me...." Before she fainted again. "Mojo???? I heard that name said while I was just a tiny cub. But never knew what it meant. Excuse me. My name is Kito. I am searching for my parents. This is Aziza my mate." Kito nodded to Sengo politely while Aziza tried to make conversation with Alina.

Sengo turned around, knowing she might want to be alone with her family. He trotted back towards the den.

Alina looked at Aziza, not really wanting to talk but she obligied to making a conversation with the lioness. "I see you are expecting?" she asked politely, forcing a smile on her face. My face was very blank, besides the fake smile on her face.

Areli sighed, she had finally stopped feeling faint, and took a deep breath. "Alina. There is something I've been meaning to tell you for a few days. You weren't the only cub I had by your father. There were 2 other cubs, your little sister Aja was a still born, causing you, and your brother Kito to be born early. I had nursed you both, fallen asleep, and then when I woke up; your grandfather had taken you away and I never thought I see either of you again. But, now here you are. Both my cubs standing before me!!!" Kito jumped, for she had said his name, but didn't know whether is was a coincidence, or a fact. Aziza quickly looked at her mate and at the lioness. They both had the same bright blue eyes, but that was where the similarities ended, as he was way lighter than the lioness, and she wondered.

Alina's breathing practically stopped, the news of her dead cub and now news that she has a brother. It was too much for Alina, she raced off, straight towards Nomad's Land, which was mostly burnt to the ground except for one small area. Alina went to that area, knowing full well that a rouge might be there.

"ALINA!!!!! Come back!!!! STAR!!!! SENGO!!!!" Alina screamed, trying to catch her daughter, but when she raced into the Nomad's Land, Areli stopped, and screamed for her mate and son-in-law. Kito and Aziza raced up, "No, you must go back to my den. I won't lose both of my cubs now." Areli growled to Kito, who told Aziza to go back, who quickly listened, but he refused her order. "That is my sister out there mother. I won't let something happen to her." "Alright." Areli said, taking a deep breath, and getting ready to race after Alina.

A rogue left the oasis he had taken shelter at during the fire and headed back to his home to see if it had been burnt up by the flames. He found that it was the only place that wasn't consumed by the flames, noticed several other rogues in the area were heading towards it, and ran fast to claim it back before they could reach it. When he crossed the area about 20 ft. from the bushes, he stepped in water, groaned, and shook his head as in his panic forgot that area was surrounded by a shallow pond. He entered the bushes roaring territoriality and the other rogues growled as they backed off to find shelter somewhere else; for he was one of the strongest rogues in the Nomad's Land and no one dared to tangle with him. Half way through the bushes, he smelled a lioness, and smiled cunningly. "This is my lucky day." He said to himself, quickly got himself looking nicer, and sauntered to the middle of the bushes where the lioness was.

(BTW - Same rogue who tried to take advantage of Areli)

Alina thought she smelled a rouge but pushed the thought away, laying down on a rock and finally letting the tears flow down her cheeks. The sun hit her just right, emphasizing how beautiful she was, her silky white coat with some black markings here and there. Her crying wasn't loud enough for a person to hear 10 feet away, but loud enough for anyone closer. Right now she didn't care what happened to her, the only pain she was feeling was the pain of the loss of her cub.


(Oh boy, this will be interesting! )

"Well hello gorgeous. My, you are looking lovely today." The rogue grinned and sauntered up to her cautiously.

"Please....I already feel dead, don't make it worse for me." she cried, not even looking at him as she continued to cry. Alina shook her head slightly, burying her face as much as she could into the rock. It felt like her heart had been shattered to millions of pieces and nothing could fix it. The only comfort she felt was from the kicking of her cubs, but that was little to none.

"Oh...... playing hard to get eh?" The rogue got on the rock behind her to take advantage of her but never had a chance; as Areli leaped at him, knocking him down, and landed just in front of his crumbled body on the ground. He moaned in pain, getting up, shaking his head slowly, and looked into the eyes of the furious lioness he tried to take advantage of a few weeks before. "YOU!!!!! I will kill you!!!!" Areli spat at him, but before she could, Kito pounced on him, and forced a nasty fight. "Alina, if you want to cry, please go cry in the Forest, Jungle, or Savanna, but NOT here!!!! It's too dangerous!!!" Areli gently nuzzled her daughter, "Also, I do understand your feelings. I did lose a cub too. Please. I do truly understand." The two males kept fighting, shaking the grounds, trampling the bushes, and slashing, clawing, biting, everything at each other.

"Don't hurt him!" the unexpected words blurted out in a yell, for whatever reason she didn't know but she didn't want him dead. His flirtatious words hadn't gotten to her, she just felt that he should be alive. Alina stood up weakly, holding back her tears since she was in the presence of her mother. Gently she pushed away her mother's nuzzles, looking at Kito and the rouge fight.

The two males stopped fighting immediately and stared at Alina. "What???? Uh okay.... but you better not ever let me see your face around again." Kito growled, backing off, while the rogue looked at the three Savanna lions with narrowed eyes. "Just leave me alone. Go on! Get out of my home." He growled while Areli and Kito gently escorted Alina back home. There were several other males waiting on the banks of the pond, grinning, but ran away in fright when the big rogue came out, and roared. "Leave them!!!" He returned the favor of Kito not killing him, by not letting the other rogues kill him.

Alina turned her head as they walked away, her eyes looking back at the rouge. She gave him a nod of thanks, turning back her head and looking ahead. I just wanted to be away from everyone, even my mother. Alina wanted to have her cubs then leave, but she knew that would not happen.
