Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Kacy took up her little brother, who protested fiercely, and tried to claw her with his tiny claws. "I think you shall be called Kunar Jr., for you are fierce like our father, little brother." She named him through her mouthful of squirming bundle of fur as she followed Tarzan.

Tarzan carried the Cuba up to Shawari, who had just woken. Her eyes went wide as the two cubs swung from Tarzan's jaws. She came and took them from him and laid them by her belly. "Whose are these? What happened?" She then saw Kacy with another, "Oh!"

Kacy put little KJ down, who immediately pushed the other four cubs aside to get to the warm milk he could smell, and nursed super eagerly. "These are my little brother and sisters. The last cubs of King Kunar and Princess Toki. Toki is dead. She must've died last night after giving birth and nursing the cubs. Please take good care of them. The little male is Kunar Jr. and I haven't named the girls yet. Please think of good names for these two." Kacy sighed, sitting down, and feeling super sad. Then, she got up, and shook herself. "I'd better go bury mom next to dad." She walked off with her head down and sighed as she disappeared around the bend.

Shawari gazed at one of the girls, the smallest. "Her name is Talia. And the other?" She looked up at Tarzan. "She'll be..."he thought for a moment, "Kiburi."

Kifo and Bahari had finally found Tarzan, and peeked around him. "Woah!" Kifo squeaked. "Even more Cubs!!" Bahari smiled. "They're really small!"

(May I be Talia?)

(Sure!!! I just want to be KJ, as he looks, and acts just like Kunar. Which can or cannot be a good thing. ;))

Kacy carried her mother's dead body out of the den on her back, walked down, and gently placed her into the grave that she had already dug for her. Covered her body with flowers and sweet herbs that Areli had brought to her; like she knew that it was going to happen and came prepared. Kacy looked at her aunt with a frown, "You knew that she was pregnant and never told me? Why?" Areli sighed and looked at her Queen. "Because it was her wish for you nor anybody else to know. She didn't want you to worry nor for the spotlight to be on her; when you deserved it more. She did well, I worked with her hard to keep her healthy, so the cubs would have the best chance possible to survive. When she didn't show up last night for our nightly appointment, I got worried, quickly got the flowers and herbs together, and figured that she had passed away after nursing the cubs. She was due last night, which is why she was so tired, ready to go after feeding the cubs, asking you to come see her this morning, so the cubs would have a nursing mother. Basically, it was her time. You know how much she missed Kunar." Kacy nodded, understanding, and both proceeded to smooth out the dirt that they had used to fill in the grave while they were talking.

Talia had crawled up beside her brother and sister snd began to nurse. Cobar and Maua looked up at their mother, they decided they had liked these cubs, as long as KJ wouldn't hog the food anymore!! The two light colored Cubs nursed along side them, happily.

Kifo and Bahari came up underneath Tarzan's front legs. "Look it em squirm!" Kifo exclaimed. Bahari tackled him. "You used to squirm like that stupid!" He tugged at her paw. "And you!" Tarzan scooped Bahari up with his large paw and placed her upright. "You two quit, come." He stood and the cubs trailed. "Go wake up Marzipan." Kifo grinned and ran, plopping on his look alike brother. "Got you nasty rouge!!" He laughed.

Kacy was laying on her bed, beside her still sleeping mate, while her own three cubs were happily eating their breakfast. She was thinking about that morning's activities, still shocked about finding her baby siblings, and saddened about her mother's death.

"Leave me alone Kifo!!!!! I am trying to get my beauty sleep." Marzipan growled, shoving his brother away, and curling up into an even tighter ball.

"Beauty sleep??" Kifo laughed. "You wanna be a princess??!" He mocked him, "Ohh, I'm Princess Marzipan. And I'm leader of the Lion Guard, roar roar roar!!" He flicked his tail, laughing, as he padded to his mother.

(So they are probably around 3 months old now. :))

Marzipan growled deeply, slowly got up, sneaked up on Kifo, and then pounced!!!! "You take that back you.........." He snarled, standing on top of him, and glared at his brother.

(One last question before I post, how much role play time has passed?)

"Never!" Kifo squealed, shoving his brother off of him. He stood, and tackled Marzipan, and they rolled, straight into Yurcombie, who was now a year old. She craned her neck and looked at her flailing cousins. "You two are silly," she told them, standing. Her crippled paw surprised Kifo. "What happened?"

(Hmm, maybe about two months?)

(About 12 hours, just a few hours after sunrise. :))

The word spread throughout the pride fast and soon a procession of lions walked around the Great Rock singing their mournful song once more.

Madi ao [Spilled blood]

Then the pride began to chant along with her:

The pride then began to wail, grieving for their lost King, and his mate.

"Wait, what's that sound, and why is the pride wailing????" Marzipan stood up, ears pricked, and staring at the pride. For Tarzan's and Marrana's cubs were too young to remember the pride singing this song after Kunar died.

"Our Aunt Toki has passed," Yurcombie told them, before joining in. Kifo just watched as the pride swayed along with the wailing. Somehow, Kifo had begun the chant, following along with Yurcombie's voice.

Marzipan began to cry, for he had liked Aunt Toki, and had often sneaked into her den to spend time with her. Though, he was far to young to know that she was pregnant, he tried to figure out why she was growing fatter each day. Toki had welcomed his presence and looked forward to his daily visits. He would miss her always. :(

(Gotta go do some things, get a job application for a daycare center, and then go to the fair grounds to get my price tags for the Country Store. :) Be back later!!)

Koki laid down beside his weeping brother, and wrapped a paw around his shoulders. "Come on, let's find mama and daddy." He helped his brother up and began walking with him to where they slept. "Bye Yurcombie!!"
