Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Kito and Aziza waited until she was done burying the cub before either one of them spoke. "Hello, my name is Kito, and I and my mate have journeyed for a long time to find this place. I just feel like I'm from around here and am looking for my family." He smiled at the lioness while Aziza gave her a sweet smile. "I'm sorry about the loss of your cub. Please accept our condolences."

(Remember, Alina does NOT know that she was born with two other siblings.)

Kacy breathed deeply, trembling, as Areli gently rubbed her buttocks, encouraging the cubs to come out. Within several minutes, the first cub came, a boy, who looked like someone precious to the entire pride, and he was quickly handed to Cali who washed him with the warm water, then rubbed oil, and salt onto the spot where the umbilical cord had been broken off before putting him on a soft bed by the fire. Twenty minutes later, three cubs nursed from Kacy's side, her gasping and crying, as they all stared at them all. There were two boys and a lovely little girl. "You shall be my little Koyo, my beautiful little girl." Kacy purred and then looked at the two boys; one of which was smaller than the other. "This little male, he is smaller than the others, but he reminds me of my beloved father, so his name shall be Munar. And this one, my firstborn, his name shall be Mos....... WHAT?!" She stopped naming her son when a bright light suddenly shone in the den and a bright lion stood in their midst. "WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!?" Areli and Cali cried out, growling, and standing in between the new mother and the mysterious lion. "Peace. I am King Herex of Africa. I have come to see my new great great grandcubs. Kacy, you are good Queen, but the eldest cub you have, his name shall NOT be Mosi. He shall be named Herex Jr., for he shall be the best King the Savanna has ever seen, like his grandfather and mother before him. He shall be betrothed to the daughter of Queen Cali and Prince Valido and together, peace shall reign over the Savanna for as long as they both shall live, for he shall have the power and might of Kunar in his paw!!!!" Herex's ghost disappeared after he finished talking, leaving the lionesses all speechless, until Kacy looked at her son with wide eyes, and whispered, "Your name shall be..... Herex Jr."

Malka showed up at Areli's door with the plump Lulie leaning against his side. "Areli! I..I need help!!" He helped bring his heavy mate inside, who was wheezing. "She's been in labor for a couple hours, and she can't get the Cubs out." Malka glanced at her swollen belly, for he was scared.

"Oh my!!!! Here, you will have to make do on the floor Julie. Kacy has the bed as she just gave birth to her own cubs." Areli's voice rang out from the room, she jumped away from the bed, grabbed several soft furs from her storage closet, came out into the main room, turned the furry part to the floor, so the leathery side was upright, as it would not soak up the water from the womb, and gently helped Julie lay down. "Heat up more water Malka!!! You need to do this, I will be standing by to help you. Get used to this, for if you are going to be a healer, you need to know how to help a female give birth. Rub her buttocks and talk to the cubs. I'll talk to Julie." Areli ordered him, laying by Julie's head, and speaking encouragement to her.

As Julie's body contracted, Malka boiled some water. He passed back to Julie and sat behind her, massaging just behind her flank. "Come on my babies," he whispered, "Come see your momma and daddy." After a few minutes for contractions, a cub plopped out and landed in between his legs. He immediately groomed the cub with the hot water, and rubbed it with the oil and salt. He carefully laid it by the for and returned to Julie. An hour went by and there were four lain by Julie's side, three girls and a boy. The male was a light cyan, with small, underdeveloped wings. Julie gazed at Malka, "His name is Jumba." Malka smiled. One of the females was a light cream (no wings) , and her coat seemed to be dusted with light blue snow. "Her name will be Alisha." Julie grinned. "Wonderful." The last two females, (both with wings) were dark golden, with faded blue spots. "Malia" Julie told one, "and Nalia," Malka told the last. "It's perfect," Julie smiled, tears in her eyes.

(Would you like to be Malia?)

(Sure!)

Areli smiled with delight at the lovely little cubs and nodded. "Good job Malka. You will make a wonderful Healer. Now, I'll give you two some privacy." She got up and trotted to see Kacy with her little ones. Cali and Kacy were cooing over them. "Wait, did you hear our great grandfather? He said that my daughter would be betrothed to your eldest son, Herex Jr. But, how??? I mean, Valido, and Moyo are full brothers!!! Aren't they??"

(Are they? We shall soon see....... ;))

Marrana watched as her Cubs wrestled. They were now about two months old, and had opened their eyes. They often played with Shawari's Cubs, Maua and Cobar, though they were shy. Bahari laid atop her brother Marzipan and tugged on his tail, while Kifo crept up on her from behind.

(You're Marzipan. :3)

Marzipan growled and swatted awkwardly at Bahari; missing her completely, hitting his paw on a sharp rock, and grimacing in pain. He then got up, walked towards his strong father, and staring at the mark on his shoulder. He wanted to be part of the Lion Guard, roar like his dad, and be the most feared lion in the Savanna.

Bahari rolled off her brother, and then got tackled by Kifo. She growled and tugged on his long fur, making him squeal and run to Marrana's side. "Wuss!" Bahari squealed.

Tarzan glanced over at Marzipan. "Hello, son." He smiled. "Would you like to hear the story of how I became leader of the Guard?"

"Ooooooo yes dad please!!!!" Marzipan squealed with excitement and parked himself right in front of his dad; ears pricked and eyes sparkling.

It was getting towards sunset and with the help of Cali; Kacy brought her and Moyo's cubs back to the Great Rock. Moyo met her, eyes shining at the sight of his cubs, and looked at her with such a soft look that Cali gently handed him Munar and went to join with Valido. "Awww.... I like seeing my baby brother with his own cubs. Soon, we too will have our own cubs bae." He nuzzled Cali as she purred under his chin.

"Alright," Tarzan told his son. "The sky was turning to night, and Kali was about to go on one of her nightly walks, and I decided to follow." Tarzan smiled, remembering his young self," A evil lion and a band of rogues wanted to take advantage of Kali, and no one knew, so when she was attacked, I yelled at them, and then I roared!" He beamed. "It felt like a electric charge in my belly, and then an antelope herd stampeding up my throat. And then the roar! It sounded of a thousand prides roaring in unison." Tarzan smiled, his eyes twinkling. "It was amazing. The rouges went flying."

"Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you think I could have the ROAR????????" Marzipan stared with fascination at his dad, turned around, faced the Savanna, took a deep breath, made the meanest face he could, and roared!!!! But, all that came out of his mouth was a tiny squeak!!!!! "What in the Savanna?!" He looked puzzled and felt so disappointed. "Guess I'm not the future leader of the Lion Guard. I guess it's not passed down like the monarchy is." He sighed with defeat and sat down with his shoulders slumped.

Tarzan chuckled. "I don't know, but all of you show signs of being part of the Guard." Tarzan gazed out onto the Savannah. "We'll have to see."

(I'm thinking Bahari is it, and the two boys will somehow be part of it. And maybe another position will be added?)

(Maybe have at least two per position, to double the number of the Guard, and to give more a chance to be apart of the elite group).

"I'd like that, but want to lead the Lion Guard just like you!!!!" Marzipan whimpered, still sulking, and wishing he could be more than was at the moment.

Tarzan laid beside him. "That's all that I wanted as a cub, and so did your uncle Malka, and now look at us. " He exclaimed. "I'm leader of the Lion Guard and he's about to become healer!" Tarzan gave his cub a little lick on the head. "You just have to wait, ok?"

(I understand that, but what about leader? Would there be two in that also??)

"How long??? Will I ever be as big as you???? You have got to be the biggest lion in the world!!!!" He stared with wonder at his huge father, his paws bigger than a serving plate, and about 5 ft. tall at the shoulders.

(No, that wouldn't work, as the leaders could disagree about something, and someone could get hurt).
