Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Tarzan laughed, "My brother Kunar was much larger, but he passed a few days after your birth." He gazed at the placed where he was buried, along side their parents. "He was one of the best Kings ever known."

(That's what I was thinking)

"Uncle Kunar was even BIGGER?! Wow!!!! Oh look dad, newborn cubs!!!" Marzipan couldn't believe his dad wasn't the biggest lion ever, but then noticed that Queen Kacy and Prince Moyo were carrying 3 newborn cubs up to the main den. Princess Toki heard the lionesses talking, knew that she was a grandmother at last, but didn't come out, for it was her time. She was breathing deeply and still didn't want anyone to know that she was pregnant for it would take the spotlight away from her beloved daughter. However, she could not get up to get to Areli as planned, and wondered what to do. Though it didn't matter, for the birth was easy, and soon three little cubs were nursing from Toki's aged nipples. She purred, nuzzling them, and decided that soon as they were finished nursing; she would cover them with a small fur and go see her grandcubs for the first and last time.

Tarzan looked up, seeing his niece and her mate. "Oh!" He stood, "Come, let's go meet your cousins," He smiled. He padded up to Kali, "They're beautiful, what are their names?" Marrana met him at his side with Bahari and Kifo. "Oh wow! We have cousins!" Kifo exclaimed. "That's awesome!! More playmates!"

"This is Munar and this is Koyo. The little male Kacy is holding is our heir and his name is Herex Jr." Moyo proudly told Tarzan, while Kacy purred, and smiled through a mouthful of fur. "Oh my darling, they are lovely!!!!" Toki purred, as she sidled up, and nuzzled her daughter. "Mom!" Kacy gently put Herex Jr. down and nuzzled her mom. "I had to come see them and little Munar looks like the younger version of your dear father." Toki sighed with happiness and then yawned. "Excuse me. I am feeling tired. Time for me to go rest." "But mom!!! You've been in your den for the past three months!!! Hardly joining us for anything!!! Are you sure you are okay?" Kacy asked with concern, for Toki hadn't been the same since Kunar died. "I.... I'm fine darling. Please come see me in the morning." Toki hesitated but then asked. She walked away stiffly, limping slightly from the old water buffalo injury, and disappeared back into her den. "What was that all about?" Kacy and Moyo asked each other, concerned, but the cubs began to meow, hungry, and so they settled them onto their soft bed on the ledge that sat above the main floor where the pride slept.

Toki laid back down with her newborns, sighing, and then fell asleep. A short time later, she began to purr, for someone was nuzzling her, opened her eyes, saw Kunar smiling at her, and nodded. Her spirit left her body, both nuzzled their cubs, who were full from their recent meal, and then she walked out with Kunar to join the other Kings and Queens in the sky.

(Why not??? I had no idea what else to post about her since I let Kunar die and it helps to let her go join her beloved mate D:)

(First, let's pretend that the sun is just rising, and Kacy gets up with Tarzan or one of your characters. She has this feeling that she needs to check on her mom NOW and finds the cubs.)

The cold night with its cold shining stars were finally beginning to grow dimmer. The bright moon was fading, oh it was fading fast, while along the eastern border, the light began to shine, growing stronger every second, until the orange sun poked its head over the top of the jungle, beaming sun rays in every direction, giving the land a feeling of it being covered in a rainbow, the sky an array of pink, purple, orange, a splash of red here and there, a sure sign of rain later on, and the blue growing ever stronger. With the sunrise, also rose Kacy. She was worried about her mother and decided to wake up one of her Uncles.

Tarzan woke to Kacy's prodding. "Huh?" He moaned. He looked up at her and saw the look on her face, so he stood, carefully plopping Kifo by his siblings. Tarzan stood, and shook out his fluff. "What's wrong??"

"I just have this feeling that something was wrong with my mom. Toki hasn't been herself since we lost Kunar and she's basically been an hermit!!! Please come with me to see what is wrong. I'm a little scared." Kacy looked at her uncle with a troubled look on her face. She turned before he answered, determined to find out what was wrong with her mom, and started up the path to the den where she and her brothers were born.

Three little cubs were meowing, crawling towards their mother, and their source of food; but when their little mouths clamped on, nothing came out, and the cubs began to protest really loud.

"Ok, I'll, come," Tarzan replied, and followed her up. As they padded up he paused. "Wait, do you hear that?" Tarzan flicked his ears towards the den. "It sounds like.... Cubs!" Tarzan raced past Kacy to find three newborn cubs trying to suckle from Toki's still body. He gasped and looked back at Kacy.

"CUBS?!?!?! These are my parents last cubs!!!!!!" Kacy stared at the cubs and then fell down sobbing. "Oh, now both my parents are dead, and we are orphans. I.... I shall raise them. Or perhaps Malka and Julie can. Someone has too!!! These little ones are hungry and I won't let my baby siblings die from starvation." Kacy gasped, staring at the three little ones, two girls, and a boy, who were crying pitifully, and continuing trying to get milk from their dead mother.

"Sh.. Shawari could," Tarzan suggested. "She has two Cubs, and her milk is now flowing. She would love it." Tarzan picked up the two girls. "Come on."
