Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Star blushed. "Um, thank you." He spread them and brought them in. "Both my parents have wings. And they're both lion and leopard hybrids. My father's parents were Ace the lion and Ginger the leopard. Ace was a good friend of Herex. Ginger... Not so much." Star took a piece of meat and chewed it.

"Ahh, I see. So you really do believe no one else loves you like your siblings? I find that unbelievable, you're such a likable lion." she argued with his logic, laying down on the cold floor. Alina couldn't say she loved him, but she did find him sweet.

Star shrugged. "No one talks to me." He glanced outside. "Ever really." He took another bite of food. "Kunar ignores me. No one really notices me...." Star glanced into Alina's eyes. "Except you." He smiled.

"Have you tried to engage a conversation with a another lion, perhaps a lioness? Except me of course. You have to get to know a person before you can say they love you or you love them." she told him while standing up and walking a little bit away from him. Alina looked outside the den, wondering who might like Star.

Star looked at his paws. "Um, kinda?" He looked at her. "Oh, don't go!" He told her. "Im so lonely." He groaned and flopped on his side.

Jewl nodded quickly running to where her other cub was hidden in the tall grass taking it back to the king as she dropped her daughter. Running again she felt a body slam into her and start biting her and clawing. Taking a paw she batted it back as she fought the older lion.

Sulu and Julu the twin cubs cried on the ground underneath the king and whimpered for there mom.

Syrup got up from her sleep and yawned going to the entrance as she exited and began her morning routine. First she picked up into a lope as she began her exercise for the day.

Alina looked back at him, feeling pity for the poor lion. She strolled over to him, leaning down and giving him a comforting nuzzle on the cheek. "I won't leave you, I promise." she assured him sincerely.

Star blushes madly. He sat up. "R..really??" Does she like me?! Do I like her?? Star bowed his head. "I..i, I kinda like you..." He whispered.

"You already told me." she giggled, lifting up her head as he sat up. Alina backed up slowly, sitting down a few feet away from him. "Really. I can't let you cry all day, it's not what a friend does. So I'll stay with you." I promised again, lifting up my head slightly.

"Oh, yeah..." Star murmured, chuckling. "Thank you." He blushed more. He tore off a piece of the meat. "Would you like some?" He passed it to her.

"Thank you." she replied after eating the piece of meat he gave her. Alina nuzzled his cheek again, as a payment for the meat. "Feeling better?" I asked him as I pulled away my head again, not wanting to be too close. Alina would keep her promise, she would stay with him as long as he needed her. He could put up an act and she'd still comfort him.

"Yes, thank you," Star replied after finishing his meal. A small burp slipped out. "Sorry," he giggled, lifting a law over his mouth. He sat up straighter and shuffled his paws, wanting something to fill the awkward silence.

Alina decided to ask him about his siblings whilst she eased closer, "So how many siblings do you have?" She stepped a little closer, looking up at him and laying a gentle nuzzle on his cheek to comfort him. Alina stepped back again, sitting down a couple of inches away from him.

"I have three," Star answered, whilst blushing. "Orbit lives in the clouds." He looked at her. "He's not dead or anything! He's King of the Universe, but doesn't rule over the spirits he lives with." He smiled at her. "Then there's Assassin and Julie. They live here."

"I see, and they don't visit you?" she asked with a raised brow. "You poor, poor lion." she cooed, nuzzling his cheek again. "I can understand how you might feel, the only person I have is my mother, Areli. Before I reunited with her...let's just say it wasn't a pleasant life. The worst part of it had to either be the loneliness or the constant pester of the rouges." Alina sighed, looking down at the floor.
