Kahlen 
Kahlen shook her head, making eye contact with Ezhno. It gave her a peculiar feeling, which she shoved behind her wall like usual. Hmmm...

Ezhno 
Kahlen made eye contact, and he hastily stifled his emotions. He glanced away. "Don't do that," Ezhno hissed. "Next time I might not be fast enough to minimize the effects."

Auberon
"Oh, you're not dead-dead. You're only mostly dead," Auberon said, smiling at himself for making a movie reference. "Anyway. Shall I procceed with surgery?"

Kahlen 
Kahlen's expression turned to something between curiosity and analysing. "I don't think it would make much of a difference anyway."

Ezhno 
"No!" he snapped, a little harsher than intended. "Don't touch me." He didn't reply to Kahlen, knowing it very well did make a difference.

Auberon
"I don't have to," Auberon said, snorting like it was obvious. "If there's pain, just say so..." Auberon concentrated on Ehnzo, trying to get some sort of a beat from his heart.

Ezhno 
Pain laced its way around where his heart was and squeezed. Enzho managed to keep his expression neutral, but the pain grew as his body fought against something foreign. "Whatever you're doing, stop," he growled. 

Auberon
Auberon finally submitted to Ehnzo's wish and stopped. "Well, I got some effort out of it. Still no life- but it did function."

Ezhno 
He waited until the pain subsided and his breathing returned to normal before saying anything. When he did, it was in an icy, polite tone. "Please never do anything like that ever again." 

Auberon
Auberon sighed. "Sorry... you're heart has seemingly been innactive for a very long time. Almost all of the ability of it to beat came from me."

Ezhno 
"I never gave you permission to do that." Ironically, he felt like his heart was racing. Pull yourself together. His instincts were saying the same thing, and he finally said it aloud. "That could have killed me." His body was in full panic mode. Something about that had him freaking out, and he didn't know why. Stop before everything spirals out of control. "You could have killed me."

Auberon looked at Ezhno, concern lacing his eyes. "Calm down, I know what I'm doing. You're perfectly safe," he assured, though he doubted the kid would take it.

Ezhno 
"You don't know what you're doing. Not with this. And I don't know how I know this, but I do know that that could and would have killed me if continued for too long." Honestly he was impressed at the fact his voice had maintained its icy politeness despite the ongoing internal panic. Breathe. The pain is gone it's fine don't let the panic get ahold of you.

Auberon
Auberon sighed. "I already said I was sorry. What more do you want?"

Ezhno 
"Stop talking." Ezhno was forcefully shoving away the panic and it required concentration. Finally having calmed himself down considerably, he allowed his eyes to look at the front of the class again. "Sorry about that. Minor malfunction. Last time I shut down, it didn't end well. I was trying to stop that from happening again." He glanced over without making eye contact, asking the two bluntly, "What is going on?"
