Quincy
He was about to sit back down when he spotted some familiar figures under a tree. This could be fun. Quinn headed that direction, but stuck to the shadows, looping behind the tree. He came around and leaned on the trunk, looking down at the two figures. He was just a little behind Shane. "Hi, strangers."

Mari 
Mari jumped a little, but turned to the voice with a smile. "'Morning!"

Shane
Shane jumped up, grabbing something out of his pocket and pointing it at Quinn, that object now in full bow and arrow form. The smallest smile tugged at Shane's mouth, and he turned the bow back quickly after. "Hi."

Quincy
He glanced at the sky and noted that it was, in fact, morning, though of course he already knew this fact. "It is morning, yes," Quinn confirmed with a smirk. He knew it was a shortened version of "good morning" but he couldn't help himself. Quinn turned that same smirk to Shane. "If I were you I would try not to get arrested."

"Oh really? I was under the impression you all lived in eternal night in this ice cube," Mari replied jokingly. She glanced at Shane with a raised brow.

Shane
"I won't get arrested," Shane replied, putting the object back into his pocket.

Quincy
He shrugged. "Alaska isn't that cold. Not as cold as my heart, anyway." The smirk transformed into a wicked grin and Quinn glanced from one sitting figure to the other from where he towered over them.

Shane
"Oh-my mo-" Shane cut himself off, stiffling a laugh. "Actually I won't say that."

Quincy
"No, go on. We're all dying to hear it now," Quinn said with mild sarcasm laced into the words. 

Shane
"I was just gonna say that..." Shane started, trailing off as he thought about it. "My mom probably has a colder heart than you do- you know what, shut up." Shane glared at Quinn.

Quincy
A low chuckle slipped through. "I don't know her, so I couldn't say." Quinn stooped and picked up the feline that had wandered close to him. It seemed relatively friendly and he scratched it under the chin while glancing around for somebody looking for their pet. "Anyway, I stop talking when I like to." 

Mari 
Mari laughed. "I'm sure your mum is an amazing person, cold heart or not."

Shane
"Don't kill my cat," Shane said, eyeing Quinn. He glanced at Mari. "That one depends on a point of view."

"Oh, it's yours." Quinn looked at the cat and gave it a final scratch behind the ear before plopping it on Shane's head. He listened to the two a moment as he absently glanced around the park again, not sure what he was looking - ah, yes, memories of happy days, just you know, the basic stab-myself-in-the-gut stuff.

Shane
Teddy fell down onto Shane's shoulders, laying there in slight confusion. Shane shook his head and rubbed the cat's head. "His name's Teddy if you want to hold him some more," Shane mumbled.
