"How did you know?" Shane asked, feeling a bit cornered by all this knowledge this girl seemed to have.

Outlaw 
“Was a good friend of your father’s once upon a time. Knew your Mom and uncle too” she replied. And now will come the question of how I’m still so young then. 

Shane
"Yeah... okay..." Shane mumbled, still thoroughly confused.

Outlaw 
Oh wow. Actually hasn’t asked that yet. 

Shane
"How... interesting?" Shane muttered. "How close- I mean, uh... How close were you with my dad?" 
It hurt mentally to ask that question, but he couldn't help but be a bit curious.

Outlaw 
She thought a moment. “Kinda a sibling relationship I spose you coulda called it” she replied. 

Shane
Shane nodded. "He never mentioned you."

Outlaw 
“Didn’t expect him too” she mumbled back. She had been a dark part of his past from her point of view. She had darkened even more now. Time did that a soul. 

Shane
"Why not?" He asked quietly.

Outlaw 
“I was part of his past I reckon.” She offered as answer. 

Shane
"He never really talked about his past," Shane replied with a shrug. "And if he was ever going to, he never got the chance."

Outlaw 
“How’d he die, if you don’t mind telling?” She asked quietly. She hoped peacefully. He’d deserved as much. 

Shane
Shane looked down at the floor, blinking a few times. "Well, he was murdered... my mom said he died in peace but..."

Outlaw 
She winced slightly. Golly. She sighed then changed the subject. “What’s our answer?” 

Shane
"I dunno, you decide," Shane muttered, keeping his eyes at the ground.
