John
"They're turning my sisters life support off in less than an hour, and I would like my niece to somewhat remember her. Besides, if she was that important to you, you would have come looking for her sooner." John spat, pushing past him to quickly pay at the counter, pack their stuff into their bag and leave the supermarket, taking a couple deep breaths to calm himself. They stopped outside the flower shop and Cosette grinned with anticipation, wriggling furiously until she was put down and could enter the shop, taking great care to gently touch the petals on a small red flower, sneezing a little at the pollen now on her hands.

Nyla
The green beans had the best price for the quantity, so she took a small can and added it to her basket. The fruits were right next to the vegetables, so she scanned them. An apple would work. Nyla picked the reddest one and placed it by the beans. Now she was done. She went to the counter to pay, watching as two people walked out and then headed for the flower shop. She could actually buy a flower today, and she was excited. She would be thirsty, but it wasn't the first time. She carefully counted out the money so she would be ready when it was her turn to pay.

Skye
So far so good, Skye thought as she explored the area that was off limits- that is, until an alarm went off. She muttered under her breath, pulling her hood farther down to hide her face as she sprinted away from the crime scene.

Jackie
Jackie payed for her food and headed out, stopping in front of the flower shop to check the price tag on a check pot of violets. They weren't the best  looking flowers in the world, but Jackie still had some change left and decided to buy them to brighten up her home. She picked up the flowers and entered the store to pay, almost running into a man.

Mason
 Mason bit back an angry retort, taking a few minutes to compose himself before running after them, not caring whether or not anyone knew that he'd stolen two food products.
 "Wait, I-," he started, shoving past a red-haired girl as he finally caught up to... whatever his name was, grabbing his sleeve to prevent him from walking away. "You said she has an hour? I can get her that. Just... please. Let me see her," he pleaded.

Perry
 "Welcome!," he greeted with more enthusiasm than necessary. "Take your time looking around; we have plenty to choose from, mostly because hardly anyone ever comes here. But, ah, I'm here if you have any questions."

Desiree
Desiree snapped awake as an alert flashed across one of the screens. Someone had tripped an alarm in one the restricted areas! Desiree sent out a security alert to all of the on-duty patrols, watching the area on her monitor intently.

Skye 
Skye knew patrols would be here any second, so she stuffed her jacket in the bag at her side- better that no one would know what she had been wearing when the alarm went off. Skye sprinted past several buildings, looking for one to duck into. The flower shop that was usually empty was full of people, so that was a no-go.

John
John paused, gritting his teeth as he made his decision. "Fine." He sighed, patting Mason's hand as a signal to let him go. "I'm John, by the way." He grinned over at the shop owner as an acknowledgement.

Mason
 "Mason, though I think I already told you that. Whatever," he responded, lowering his hand but remaining fairly close to John's side in case slowing down the time caused him to stumble or pass out or something. "I love how you haven't even brought up the fact that I am currently causing almost every clock in this area to slow down, as well as time itself a bit, though I'm trying to keep that fairly stable since that's not a very wise thing to do."

John
He shrugged, ruffling Cosette's hair as she wandered past. "I can literally see cigarette smoke inside you from about half an hour ago, so I'm in no position to judge whatsoever." He turned when he felt a pat on his leg, glancing down at the soft, cream coloured potted flower being held up to him. "That one's pretty."

Skye 
Skye sighed. The flower shop would have to do- the patrols would come in both directions any minute now. Skye strode in purposefully, not bothering to make eye contact with anyone, finding an interesting display in a corner of the store.

Ashwin
His transmitter blurted loudly and he unclipped it from his belt, listening to the message. The description given to him of the person reminded him instantly of the girl he had spotted early. Fool! Ashwin took off in a sprint toward Main Street when voices started pouring on top of each other from the transmitter. Updates on glimpses, reports that it was a false alarm, etc. He pressed the button and asked the surveillance what general direction he needed to go, as their last input had been cut off by a false sighting. A range of streets was given to him, and that was followed by patrolmen informing which ones they were checking. Everyone was working inward, but a few streets were still unmanned. Ash picked the closest and hurried there, unclipping his taser and holding it ready in his hand just in case. They had said the girl was possibly armed and dangerous, but there was no confirmation on that. 

Nyla
She handed the money to the clerk and accepted the bag, bagging her items and walking out. Now to the flower shop. She skipped over and took time to view the flowers outside before entering. She went directly to the kid behind the counter. "Hi, I'd like one flower please. What would you suggest?"

Mason
 "That's... creepy," he muttered. He glanced down at the little girl who looked so much like Kaylee (well, maybe with a bit more childish innocence than Kaylee) before asking John a question. "Well, when are we going, or do you want me to stop time altogether?," he asked, his semi-lighthearted tone a stark contrast to the somber, haunted look in his eyes.

Perry
 "Petunias are always a nice choice. My favorites are the kind that spread and often hang from the sides of their basket. We have a few of those along the back wall," he replied, smiling down at her. "Or you can get a couple of those seed packets right there. We've got flowering plants, nonflowering plants, even some cactus seeds."

Jackie stumbled a bit as she was pushed out of the way, nearly dropping her flower. She glared at the man who had pushed her, but he was already busy talking with someone else. She turned away from them and headed toward the cashier.

John
John huffed, but the corners of his mouth curled up in a signature grin. "We can leave after we've paid." He shot Mason a knowing look, picking up the girl and scrounging in his pocket for the money, setting it and an extra tip on the counter, goving a friendly wave to the kid behind the counter, heading for the door and making sure Mason was keeping pace.

Jackie waited patiently for another woman to finish talking with the cashier. She thought of offering her input into the conversation, but decided against it.
