Nyla
There were more choices than she had counted on. Sheepishly, she asked, "Which one is the least expensive?" She glanced around the shop, mentally admiring all the pretty colors. She doubted she would be able to choose one single flower on her own, anyway. 

Skye 
Skye moved along the displays, progressively farther away from the shop window. Breathe. Stay calm. Don't attract attention.

Perry
 "Hold on," he muttered, turning to thank the guy who'd left him a tip. Upon realizing that he'd already left, he turned to the next girl in line. "That's, uh, six dollars, I believe."

Mason
 Mason nodded, following John up to the counter and then out of the shop.
 "Is she... is she really incurable?"

John
"I just..." He stared blankly at the ground as they walked. "I don't know what's wrong with her. I mean- I do know what's wrong, but it's healed and she's only getting worse..."

Mason
 "I guess she can only die and somehow respawn so many times," he mused quietly. "It's just hard to believe that...," ...-That she might die for real this time. That she'll really be gone. She would've found a way to save herself before it got this bad, so the chances of her really dying are... high. Very high.

John
"We're here." John lead Mason through the foyer to an elevator, pressing for the third floor and scanning his ID with a beep, and the elevator opened. "Anyone can come into the elevator, but if you don't show ID or a citizen's tag, it won't let you out." He explained, turning to the right and counting the rooms. "....Four, Five, Six..." He pushed open the seventh door, grinning at the scowling girl. (Well, as best as she could restrained with a breathing mask on.) "Hey, Gremlin." He said, stepping aside and letting Mason in. "Got someone here to see you."

Nyla
She nodded and stepped aside, opening the purse and counting what remained inside. There was enough for a flower as long as it wasn't too expensive. She wandered to the nearest display and looked up at the flowers. 

Skye 
Skye ducked behind the display she was pretending to browse as someone passed the nearest window. Clearly, they hadn't yet realized that she could be in a building.

Ashwin
His transmitter crackled to life again. "What are you idiots doing? Search the buildings!" "There's too many, we won't get anywhere!" "We're sending out emergency patrols." Ash turned the sound down a little bit on his as communication continued. He backtracked to the start of his street and this time stopped in the buildings, most of which were shops. He described who he was looking for to the working employees. So far, nobody had seen her. He continued to the next shop, a little card-maker. There was nobody inside save for a single employee. He sighed, repeated the description, already knowing the answer. He thanked the lady and left, heading into the baker across the street.

Skye 
Skye furtively glanced around the small shop for any exits. Front exit, which is not ideal... ah. Side door. 

Perry
 Perry glanced through the window, confusion evident on his face as he watched people rush past on nearby streets. That's... odd, he thought, shaking his head and returning his gaze to the girl with the violets as he waited for payment.

Mason
 His concerns with possibly getting stuck in the elevator were erased when he saw Kaylee. He gave her a small, weak wave in greeting, glancing up at John momentarily before slowly making his way over to the girl.
 "Hey, kid... It's been a while," he commented, attempting to appear less distraught than he really was.

Kaylee for now 
Her brow furrowed in confusion, staring up at Mason blankly before something must have clicked, and she grinned weakly. "Hey, Mase." She croaked, voice strained enough as is. "Long time, no see, huh?"

Mason
 Mason laughed softly. "Yeah," he replied quietly, placing his hand on her small shoulder. "Listen... I-... I know we complain about each other a lot and often claim that we hate each other, but... you mean a lot to me, and I want you to know that, alright? I mean, yeah, not being able to go a hundred years without somehow finding you again - well, a hundred years until now, I guess - got slightly frustrating, I won't lie, but I never regretted it, because sometimes it's good to know that... That no matter what, you were always there," he rambled in the same uncharacteristically quiet tone.

Skye 
Skye followed the shop owner's gaze outside and winced. She quickly strode up to the counter and placed some money on it, muttering "sorry in advance" as she walked back to her display. Wait for it...

Kaylee
"Hey." Kaylee cut him off firmly, shifting to try and sit up, only able to do so when John loosened her restraints. "I'll still be there. I always will, it just happens. We know it does." She turned her attention to the little girl clambering up to her, carefully avoiding her limbs as she navigated the bed, and smiling down at the flower pot she placed in her lap. "Thanks, Coco."
