Charity listened to him, then thought about his question. "I've never realy tried anything."

Ahanu
"Hm... What do you think might help? Maybe we can figure out what works."

Charity
My brother, my parents, my home... Charity stayed pretty quiet for a moment. "Everything that could help aint here so..."

Outlaw 
She was to focused on making herself coffee to immediately realize what Auberon said. When she realized she almost dropped the cup of coffee, then held it carefully as though it was a precious gem, staring at him over it. “She’s back?” She demanded. 

Auberon
"Well, in ghost form," Auberon replied, shrugging and looking at the ground curiously.

Ahanu
"I'm sorry. Are you sure there isn't anything I could do?" Ahanu didn't like feeling so useless and unhelpful. 

Charity
"No..." Charity murmured. "I guess you can overcome a lot of things- you just can't overcome too much guilt..." And that's exactly what I have. Charity had said it so quietly, she wasn't even entirely sure Ahanu could make out what she was saying.

Ahanu
He winced, and held her just a little tighter. "You can overcome guilt. It just might take a while. You can't forget what happened, but it is possible to not feel guilty." Ahanu felt a bit like a hypocrite, but he'd been working on his own issues for the past year, so he wasn't where he'd been a year ago guilt-wise. "Why do you feel guilty?" 

Charity
"I dunno..." Charity would've explained, but her mind was still partially convinced he didn't want to hear.

Ahanu
He sighed. "Charity, I know that you know why you're feeling guilt. You don't have to tell me why."

Charity
Charity winced as pain throbbed in her tongue for a moment, then stay quiet. She debated with herself for a long time, which was relatively normal for her, but she hated doing it. "It's- I... I don't know what I did wrong to make my family abandon me... I guess part of me assumed they believed I was a terrible child, and because I believed they thought that, I wanted to become that... I don't know why, I just did. And now, I've done a lot of things to hurt people to show them the pain I was in, and I guess that paid off quick..."

Ahanu
He thought quietly for a moment. "I'm not sure about your family or the people, so I can't comment on that - but I do know that how people think of you doesn't, and shouldn't, define who you are. If you feel guilt for acting in that way, then it's never too late to stop. And you don't know for certain that that's what they thought of you." He shrugged. I'm probably just making everything worse.

Charity
"Almost all of them told me, or went to a teacher and I got detention or suspension..." she mumbled.

Outlaw 
“Huh. Well to be honest she’s not the worst of all lot.” She decided with a shrug, taking a sip of coffee and almost burning her mouth but not caring. 

Auberon
"Oh no, not for you, I just have three people trying to be my sister now, that's all," Auberon muttered, too quietly for anyone to hear. He flopped down on his bed and stared at the ceiling.
