Charity thought about it for a moment. "Let's go to town first."

Ahanu 
"Alright. Bring your gun, please. You forgot it this morning."

Charity
Charity nodded, standing up and grabbing the weapon.

Ahanu
He crossed to his bed to give the rats a parting pat and make sure he had everything that he wanted to take. That accomplished, he turned to Charity. "Ready?"

Jade
The food was just about done. Jade poked her head into the cabin. "Hey, guys, breakfast is ready." 

Charity
Charity nodded. "Ready when you are."

Ahanu
"Alright. Let's go, then." Ahanu decided to take his rats along last second, and they eagerly obliged. Andie sat on his shoulder and Bambi curled into one of his pockets with just her head sticking out. Ahanu turned and left the hut, going out onto the deck. Auberon was still sitting there. 

Charity
Charity followed Ahanu, glancing over at Auberon for a minute before going and throwing the ladder down. She climbed down it eagerly, hoping to avoid conversing with her brother.

Ahanu
He sighed and followed her, tossing the ladder back onto the deck. "Auberon said town was this way. There's more likelihood of zombies in town, so be careful."

Charity
"I'll try," she mumbled, looking out over the forest.

Bryan
 Jade's voice stirred him awake, and he crawled down from his bunk, his footsteps echoing on the wood floor as he made his way over to the doorway. He peeked out, eyes coming to rest on the fire that he assumed Jade was responsible for. "Cool."

Jade
"There should be utensils and stuff in my bag over there. Help yourself and eat whatever you want. I can make more." She entered the cabin, propping the door open with a rock, and crossed over to Alex's bed. "Alex, time to wake up." 

Ahanu
He kept an eye and ear out for zombies as they walked through the forest. He noticed when the trees started to thin out, and then they were standing on the edge of the forest. He glanced at Charity. "Anywhere in particular you want to go?"

Charity
"No," Charity replied, looking up and glancing around when she heard a small crackling noise. It was so faint and alnost unreal however, that she doubted Ahanu had heard it. The thought made her feel a bit insane.

Bryan
 Bry nodded, going over to the fire and sitting down a short distance from it. He made no effort to get any food yet; he just sat and observed the flames. "It's like camping. Back when things were simple, and there weren't zombies everywhere." He leaned back, his hands supporting his weight. "Then it shut its doors, and companies rushed to build on the land. Kinda like the zombies are taking over the world... or at least the state. It's all gone," he murmured to himself, gaze still on the fire.

Jade
She shook him gently in an attempt to wake him up. "Alex, wake up. It's time to eat."

Ahanu
He noticed Charity looking around, but hadn't picked up on anything yet. He made sure that his knife was available if he needed it quickly. Andie had gotten bored of his shoulder and scrambled up onto his head. Bambi was asleep. Ahanu reached over and gently took Charity's hand, trying not to blush, and then fully exited the forest and entered the town.

Charity
Charity followed Ahanu, then stopped abruptly. "Wait- hold on," she whispered, although she didn't mean for it to come out as a whisper. She looked around again, shifting her weight uncomfortably.
