Jimmy
"...Point made," he replied in defeat, flinching instinctively when the piece of popcorn bounced off his cheek. "But you've still got pretty good aim."
James
He jogged up the front steps of the Artemis cabin, coming to a stop once on the porch, where he greeted Outlaw with a smile (by logic, he should've had to look down at her, since she was sitting, but alas, she was tall; he was... not). "Hey! Are you, um, ready for the quest? I'm James by the way. Not sure if you, uh... You probably don't know me."

"It's hard to miss when you're being so loud." Freddie chewed the last few pieces she had left, following it up with some soda. "I just wasted all my popcorn," she complained under her breath.

She turned her gaze to the boy. "Hey James. Yah I'm ready." She replied, forcing her lips into what she hoped was a friendly grin.

Jimmy
Jimmy rolled his eyes, finally reinstating his attention on the movie and slipping into a peaceful silence.
Once it was over, Jimmy had one of their siblings take Freddie back to their cabin with the responsibility of putting the movie and DVD player away. He himself ended up wandering over to the lava wall, chatting with one of his friends for a minute before strapping on one of the safety harnesses (a newly-added feature) and beginning to scale the rocks.
James
"Alright then! Then let's go," he replied, turning and semi-hopping down the steps, nearly tripping and falling on his face in the process; he caught himself on the porch railing, shooting Outlaw a crooked grin and a thumbs up before continuing on his way.
Once they found Auberon, the trio exited the camp; the familiar trees along the magic border took James back in time to what felt like a lifetime ago, though in reality it had been less than a week since he'd stumbled through the force field and found himself in the middle of a field surgery. Let's not think about that right now, he told himself, mentally pushing away his thoughts and trekking onward. That is, until an eerie hissing echoing through the pines caused him to stop in his tracks. Oh god not again-
Ethel
Ethel coughed into her hand as the bus pulled up to the station that she and her two comrades and been standing at for the past several minutes. She crossly waved the thick dust away from her face, turning to Ollie. "Well, I'll give you one thing: You've been paying pretty dam { ;) } good attention to the bus schedules during your time here." She turned back to the bus after speaking, gazing up at it before she began ascending the steps. "Welp, here we go."
Mason
As the seconds dragged on with no reply from Kaylee, Mason got continually more restless, until he finally let out a sigh that indicated the conversation was over and got to his feet. "Well, there's my two cents. Don't know what else to say. Are you gonna come outside with me or no?"

Kahlen
Kahlen sat crosslegged at the top of the lava wall, which as of the last ten minutes had become her favorite perch, trying to completely ignore her handy-dandy sixth sense. It wasn't going so well, but she wasn't a quitter. And besides, it gave her something to do besides dwelling on the fact that the two people who provided probably her only stability were gone. Good times.

Columbina
Ollie didn't reply - how could she just blatantly state that, "Yeah thanks, I had to memorise them to know when it was safe to flee from my rage fuelled brother! Gotta love family." - She gripped the short railing as she climbed the stairs, ignoring the twinge in her gut. She would hide just about anything to keep from making Ethel feel even more guilty, and to ease some of Denver's worry for the accident prone girl. Plus, it was fine. Just a little stab to the stomach. She'd cried more getting needles, so this couldn't even be half as bad.

Outlaw
She trailed silently behind the two boys, stopping behind James before she ran him over. She listened to the sound of hissing, going through different things it could be. "Snake, some weird mystical creature I don't know of" she muttered under her breath as she mentally sorted through the files in her brain.

Freddie
She wasn't sure what the big fuss was about. It was a bit of a myth, it was haunted and creepy, but all it really was was a teddy bear. What harm could it do? So Freddie continued to poke the thing with the stick in her hand, trying to bat it out of the way. She could feel the white-knuckled grip her sister had on her chair, and the siblings trapped inside the cabin continued to shout in protest of her actions. Maybe she wasn't as scared of it because she couldn't see it. "You're going to make it mad!" someone yelled at her, and Freddie stuck her tongue out in their general direction. She finally succeeded in slapping it out of the doorway. Someone gasped and her sister behind her informed her it had disappeared into thin air. "Great! Now it's not in our way. Let's go inside."
Noah
Noah tossed a soda to his bodyguard and then returned to the library, hands curled around a can of his own carbonated drink. He'd unearthed more information on what he wanted to do - return to the mortal world for a visit someday - and knew he'd have to build up his magical strength. His time under Hecate's spell had, admittedly, taught him quite a bit on magic and techniques. A passage he'd read in a dusty, ancient tome hours ago had caught his eye and he'd been practicing ever since. It allowed him glimpses of what was happening at camp, and once he got good at it, he would be able to watch the real world easily, in HD. Maybe he'd be able to create a pseudo-television and cast the image onto it. He cracked the soda open and took a sip, positioning himself once more in the corner of the large library. A moment later, there was a flicker of a picture. He caught a glimpse of green grass, strawberries, an abandoned checkers game, satyrs playing on their instruments - he could hear them this time - and then it disappeared. He'd sustained it for about ten seconds. Noah raked his fingers through his hair. He wasn't making progress fast at all, and these split-second teasers were taunting him. But he had to keep it up.
Andro
He'd ordered a pizza, giving into his hunger. Andro had made a quick run to the lobby at the bottom of the building to grab drinks from the vending machines after asking Eudora over the intercom what she wanted. A knock on the door had him on his feet. The pizza delivery guy handed over the food and Andro handed over the money. After a short exchange of words, the man left. Andro snagged the drinks from his desk and retreated down the hallway, rapping lightly on Eudora's door. "Food's here."
Beau
Mildred eased his door open and poked her head inside. Beau was sitting on the bed, absently fondling Rhyme's floppy ear. "Why don't you take your dog on a walk? There are some daffodils in the forest, if you see any pick a few for in the house." Beau nodded and stood. Rhyme jumped off the bed and bumped his hand with her nose. He gave her a pat and exited his room. Rhyme followed, somewhat reluctantly, and Beau's brow furrowed at the way she tucked her tail in and scurried past Mildred. Beau left the house and entered the woods, not bothering to put a leash on the pup. Rhyme wandered a little bit, but didn't stray far from his side. He wondered who trained her - had it been him, or someone else?
Nikkol
She walked aimlessly through the camp, not sure where she was going. She felt uncomfortable in the modern clothes, but received far less of the odd looks she'd noticed earlier. Nikkol was just glad she was able to keep her spear with her. While she had to give up the clothes from her time, the spear was a reminder of what she'd lost, but more importantly, of home.
Jade
She reentered the cabin. "Okay, you ready? I said goodbye to James, is there anyone you want to talk to before we go?"

Denver
Denver followed the girls onto the bus, not missing how Ollie stiffened a little when she moved. Going to have to fix that soon, but a public bus is NOT sanitary.

Jimmy
When he was almost to the top, he looked up, spotting Kahlen and shooting her a grin through labored breaths from his rapid ascent. "Don't think you're supposed to just sit there, hun. It's a lava climbing wall, not a lava sitting wall, after all," he remarked, resuming climbing and attempting to avoid the rocks that were significantly hotter than the others.
Ethel
Ethel took a seat, scooting all the way in until she was nearly pressed against the window to leaver room for the others. She turned to look out of it as the bus began moving, not really thinking about anything, though appearing as if she was.
James
A large creature with far more dragonlike heads than necessary emerged from the woods, hissing and spitting what looked like fiery venom. James unsheathed his bronze knife, instinctively taking a step back, though Outlaw being behind him prevented him from taking any more. "Any ideas?," he questioned quietly, eyeing the creature warily, watching as it lowered most of its heads and took a good long look at the kids.

Kahlen glared at Jimmy from the corner of her eye. "Noted and ignored," she muttered darkly.

Auberon
"I dunno kid, what do you normally do with a monster? Dance with it?" Auberon chided irritably, taking off his backpack and flinging it to a somewhat not-so-safe spot. He took out Chicken Slayer, looking at the monster thoughtfully, though the only thought that really went through his brain was Let's kill it! It'll be fun! "Next time you come to get me, don't do it when I'm playing checkers, got it?"

She calmly stepped forward, switching smoothly to the creature's own language. "Easy now. And what might your problem be?" She questioned it. It looked at her with all of its heads, obviously startled that she could talk it's language.

Jimmy
Jimmy finally reached the top, pulling himself up next to Kahlen with a strained huff. "Aw, why are you ignoring it? It was a good bit of info! I figured I should try and help out a newbie like yourself better experience Camp activities like they were meant to be experienced," he replied, faking being hurt, though his grin kind of destroyed his act. "Really, dude, consider it."
James
"Says the guy who's talking to it as if it honestly cares about your game of checkers," James shot back pointedly, turning to look at Outlaw to ask her what she thought, freezing with his mouth slightly open as she began communicating with the monster in what he assumed was some kind of... language. Animal magic? Or is she actually just... talking to it? Huh. I've really seen it all now, haven't I?
