 She stopped in her tracks, spinning around to face the shorter girl. "You're not denying it. You did do it on purpose, you vile excuse of a human," she hissed accusingly.

Mason
 "What are we even arguing about at this point?," he countered, his tone full of exasperation, completely ignoring Kahlen.

Outlaw 
She shot to her feet and whirled around at a slight noise, hands flying to her hips. A slight look of confusion crossed her face when her hands didn’t meet her gun holsters, and she looked down “what the, where are. Oh right” she muttered under her breath. She didn’t wear em anymore sadly. She looked around again uneasily. She coulda swore she’d heard someone or something, but there was nothing that she could see, hear, or detect. She headed towards the mansion. Maybe she just needed some coffee or somethin. 

Nikkol
She listened to the conversation and arguments a tad sheepishly, though she wasn't sure why she felt that way. Oh, right, if she hadn't had that thought, Kronos wouldn't have spoken, and maybe all of this wouldn't be happening. She waited a while before stepping out of the shadows fully and giving the young girl a small wave. "Hello. Yes, I'm new." That sounded... absolutely awful.

Auberon
He followed Kahlen and waited until they were out of earshot, maybe even eyesight but he wasn't going to look, to speak. "I don't like him either, but maybe we should take a breather before we go see Chiron?" Auberon suggested. 

Lilly
"I'm not sleeping until you are," she responded after a moment in which she suppressed a yawn. 

Beau
"What should I do, Rhyme?" Beau murmured, gently picking up the large puppy and cradling her against his chest. She squirmed until he sighed and set her on his lap. The wolf dog flopped across his legs with a happy sigh and glanced up at him, tail thumping the bed. Beau shook his head, the ghost of a smile passing over his features but soon gone, making you wonder if you had imagined it. "Do I leave, try to find my way back... wherever I'm from? Or do I stay and wait?" Beau's soft words didn't slip through the door, and Mildred, walking past, heard nothing. Beau ran his hand through his hair before settling it on Rhyme's thick coat. 

Outlaw 
She continued to make her way, but couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. But she didn’t know by what. 

Boaz
He woke up at the sound of voices outside the cabin and glanced around. Of course, Outlaw wouldn’t be here. He sighed and got out of the bed, heading for the door. 

Columbina
Ollie drew back, "He didn't-" She cut herself off quickly, face dropping into a scowl as she grabbed at her stomach wound. "I didn't mean to. I would never."

Kaylee
"I don't know!" Kaylee burst out in giggles halfway through her sentence, covering her mouth politely. "I'm Kaylee." She said, turning back to the new girl. "Nice to meet you!"

Nikkol
The phrase was foreign to her, but she understood what it meant. At least, she was pretty sure she did. "Nikkol." She paused, unsure of proper etiquette around the phrase. "I am glad to make your acquaintance, as well," she ended up replying, trying not to wince at the awkwardness of it. She felt like a crippled bird in an ocean, desperately trying to swim with a broken wing while an ominous, unknown evil lurked beneath. 

Kahlen 
He's right. You're not thinking. Just take a second and breathe. Kahlen stopped, and ran her fingers through her hair with a sigh. "You're right. I just- I need to get a grip- but I... I just can't. There's so much I need to do and figure out and there's some unknown world-jeapordizing deadline and I- I need time that I don't have. Not just for that either- for my siblings and my family and- and you- but I can't turn around without some person or other breathing down my neck and it's just- I don't know anymore." 

Denver 
"Okay then." Yeah Denver you both need sleep and she's been BLEEDING INTERNALLY go to bed for her if for nothing else idiot

Auberon pulled to a stop next to her and listened. "Hey, it's going to be alright, and you're doing great. Don't worry about me, I'm fine, and if you need more space I can leave."

Lilly
Her hand probed behind her for the pillow at her back. When she finally got a grip she yanked it loose and settled it in its proper spot. She looked up at Denver, her gaze settling on his. Her voice was quiet as she spoke. "I know it can be hard to get to sleep. At least try, okay? You work really hard and are always trying to help others, but you need to take care of yourself, too. I know it's not easy but I -" she cut herself off, blushing slightly and eyes shifting back to the pillow. Lilly began carefully fluffing it up, trying to hide her reddening complexion with her hair. I rambled. While maintaining eye contact. This is a disaster.

"No! It's okay. I-" Kahlen sighed. "Remember when I said there's three things that are ultimately important?" You're one of them... and to be perfectly honest, you're the one thing keeping me from going completely crazy and killing someone." Wow. Just... wow.

Denver 
"I will. I promise... on my giraffe collection." The last part was said with a grin. "I'm gonna go grab something from my cabin and I'll be back, okay?"

"Alright." Lilly glanced up with a smile, face still pink with slight embarrassment. 

Auberon
"I'm honored," he said with a grin. "Want to find somewhere to sit down?"

Kahlen 
"I'm all for it."

Denver 
Denver headed over to his cabin, stepping inside and finding his bunk. He saw the emergency chocolate missing and sighed. Rough day, I guess, he thought. You wouldn't know, 'cause you've been holed up in the infirmary tent for forever and three quarters, an accusatory voice of his hissed. He ignored it and grabbed what he needed, fitting it neatly and in typical Denver fashion, in a backpack before heading back to the tent.

Outlaw 
She reached the mansion and entered it, banging mud off her boots before entering the kitchen. “Well, what now?” Clarice demanded. “Is there any chance you could russle up a cup of coffee?” She questioned politely. “Oh fine. Cowboy strong if I remember correctly, no sugar or cream, so on and so fourth” she grumbled as she bustled about the kitchen while Outlaw carefully seated herself at the table. 

Boaz
He stepped out onto the Artemis cabin porch and squinted in the darkness, trying to make out the several figures around the cabin.

She yawned after he left. Lilly knew if she laid down she would fall asleep, so she forced herself to stay upright. Her eyelids were drooping when Denver returned, but Lilly saw him walk in and woke up a little. "Did you get what you needed?" 

Ethel
 "Oh, so you had a partner? Figures," she growled, turning back around and resuming walking. "And you can't hold what I did to you against me-," Yes she can, "-it was the dagger."

Mason
 He unsuccessfully tried to hold back a laugh, having been listening to the two girls' conversation. "'I am glad to make your acquaintance'. Oh my god," he snickered. "This is too good."

Nikkol
Her face turned red with embarrassment and she turned an angry glare at Mason. "I'm sorry I don't understand things yet," she snapped, fingers tightening on her spear. I hate this place.
