Jade
She laughed. "I'll be fine. I don't think moving over a little will do anymore damage than has already been done. I tried to sit up earlier, remember?" She closed her eyes a moment, leaning her head into his hand, then she opened them again. "Have you ever not had a mop on your head?" she asked, teasing. She honestly couldn't imagine him without the messy hair. 

Denver 
Denver had redone Jade's bandages and was now looking over the three kids. "Y'all got to stop injuring yourselves," he told everyone. "There's only one of me." He shook his head. "Who does that kid think he is? He's gonna be organizing the infirmary for a month."

Alex
Alex scoffed, rolling over a little to fully face Jade. "I take everything I just said back."

Katie
Katie pretended to keep busy, listening to the two boys talking. Maybe James would just forget that Ethel had mentioned the pact? Hopefully.

Kahlen  (Because later is like 5 seconds later)
Kahlen was still a little shaky from her little vision. "Hey, uh... not to be the bearer of bad news, but... I had a vision."

Jade
She grinned. "You're just self-conscious." She looked up at Denver. "When can we get this arrow out? The, uh, proper way, please." Jade hoped that the right way wouldn't hurt as much as Noah's way. She glanced at Alex, not willing to admit that while she didn't like having an arrow sticking out of her, she was a bit terrified to have it pulled out after that experience earlier. She turned her eyes to Kahlen. "Oh?" Visions usually were important, especially with Kahlen.

James
 "They weren't," James responded bluntly, holding the blade up to his face and staring at his reflection in it. His mirror image stared back at him: a dusty, freckled face topped with a mess of blonde hair. He gave the knife a lopsided grin before putting it back into its sheath.

(WAIT where is Kahlen atm i forgot)
Alex
Alex winced. "We're gonna have to cut you open a bit, love. Just to get the arrowhead out without damaging anything else."

Auberon
"Um... Okay. I guess we'll have to wait and see if anyone dies. That Eudora girl seemed pretty injured... and in a lot of pain." he winced at the though of her.

Jade
Her stomach churned, which she wasn't sure how that worked with an arrow in it. "Oh. Fun." 

Katie
"We're all in a lot of pain, and you two standing there talking isn't helping anyone." Katie snapped, standing up with Ethel draped comfortably over her back. This wasn't too bad - Katie could easily keep her balance, and a good grip on Ethel.

Alex
Alex gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. "You're gonna be fine. Denver knows what he's doing." At least, Alex hoped so.

 "Sorry! Sorry," he yelped, spinning around and jogging up to Katie.
 "Um... is there anything I can do to help?"

Auberon
Auberon walked up to them. "Should I help in any way?"

Katie
"Can you find Eudora and see if she's okay? Ethel could probably do with seeing her alive and well." Katie watched the ground carefully ro make sure she wouldn't go face first with Ethel on her back.

James
 "Yeah, I can do that," James replied, sprinting towards where Eudora and the other injured people were. She didn't look like she should be moved, so he instead decided to ask Denver about her condition and relay the information to Katie.
 "So, Denver... about Eudora... is she alright?"
