Greek Mythology Roleplay

Ethel
 Ethel jumped back from Katie's touch. Once she realized what was going on, she groaned and slumped backwards, basically falling into James' arms.

James
 James caught the unconscious girl by her shoulders and gave Katie a plaintive glance before dragging Ethel out of the bushes where they had been sitting. He grunted, heaving her out of the little sandy hollow and into the bloodstained clearing and promptly dropping her once she was clear of the scraggly branches.
 "It's worse than I thought... and by 'it' I mean literally everything relating to this situation," he murmured.

Alex
"Hmm?" Alex and Kaylee looked up. "Oh. Sure." He set Kaylee on the ground and watched as she scrambled over and curled up next to Floyd, and he scooted over, laying down next to her so she wouldn't have to look up at him. He took her hand gently, giving it a squeeze. "What's up?"

Katie
"James!" Katie gasped, scrambling to catch Ethel before she hit the ground. "But yeah, I've gotta agree with you here. This has been terrible for everybody."

Auberon
Auberon ran through the woods and stopped in a clearing to get a breath. There were a few people there. He looked over at James. "Who are you?" he said not really thinking about the situation.

Jade
She smiled when he took her hand, then looked across into his eyes. "Well, you were saying something earlier, before the game." She shrugged. "I don't know if it's important. If not, I'm sorry I dragged you away from your friends." She smiled a little again, forcing away the pain for the moment, though she didn't know how her green eyes swam with it. 

James
 Before he could reply to what Katie had said, he was distracted by a newcomer. Despite the dire circumstances of the moment, a smile lit up his face and he held out his hand to the red-haired kid.
 "I'm James!" he practically shouted.

Auberon
Auberon was a little take back by this fellow's -James- enthusiasm, but honestly it was so friendly Auberon couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. "Hi James. I'm Auberon." he said shaking his hand. 

James
 "That's an interesting name. Where'd you come from? Did you just get here, or..?" James asked the  boy, cocking his head sideways. He glanced back at Ethel, feeling slightly bad for dropping her.

Auberon
"Ya, I just got here." Auberon said, looking past James to Ethel and Katie. "Is she okay?" he asked motioning to Ethel. "I feel like I've seen a bunch of people either injured, unconscious, or trying to tear each other apart today."

Alex
"Hey, it's no problem." Alex bit the inside of his lip. "I was just wondering... if we want to make this," he raised their entwined hands in a gesture of sorts. "Us. A thing?" Too forwards too forwards too forwards too forwards - His mind screamed, but he ignored it.

Katie
"She would be better if she hadn't been dropped." Katie grumbled, checking over her friend. Ethel has some little cuts, and a possible broken finger from when she had been gripping her dagger, but she seemed to br alright.

James
 He laughed lightly, though not in a joking way.
 "Yeah. Capture-the-flag gone horribly wrong. She's in shock because she almost killed someone, or something like that."

Auberon
"Oh, I see. I could be completely wrong, but does it have anything to do with that wounded, unconscious girl laying out there?" he asked looking James in the eye. 

Jade
She grinned at Alex, grounding her teeth through the pain as she scooted closer and gave him a short kiss. "Yeah, doofus." Problem with that plan: Now she couldn't move back. She was less than an inch from his face. "Um," she said, "I can't move back." She giggled.

 "Yeah, actually. That's Eudora," he replied, realizing that he'd never touched any of his weapons during the game. He grabbed one of them - the one that he'd called Hamilton - by its hilt and turned it in his hand, trying to figure out how to use it properly. Obviously however Ethel did it, since she injured Eudora really badly, he muttered silently, but chose to keep that statement to himself.

Alex laughed, cupping her face with his palm. "Good, because that would have been awkward otherwise." He frowned a little, shaking his head. "Well, sorry, but I don't know if I can help you there. You might have to just stay where you are."

"Oh, ouch." Auberon said. "I thought they weren't supposed to kill each other in Capture the Flag?" he said to James, watching him play with his dagger.
