Lena


Lena was sitting at the Apollo table watching Kahlen. Her half sister was so different from her, but also the same. Turning to Kahlen's brother, she thinks about how he seems a bit more like their father. "Kahlen, whats your mother like?" She smiles

Kahlen 
Kahlen laughed coldly. "My mother?" She shook her head. "We... never got along. I've always been told I'm like my mom- everyone used to tell me we had extremely similar personalities. Both determined, strong-willed, intense, unpredictable, et cetera. She looks a bit like me, I guess- same hair color, same eye color. Her name's-" Kahlen almost choked on the word. "Her name's Valentine. Valentine Winter. She didn't really care much about us in the end. She's moved to somewhere in South America. I don't really care where, at this point. Part of me is... kind of glad she's gone, I guess."

As Jade approached Kahlen saw the worried expression on her face. When the girl told Kahlen Alex had left, a tiny corner of her mind shouted, I KNEW IT! 
Instead, she said "Oh no..." she closed her eyes. Where could he have gone this time. "Did he... tell you where?" She sounded slightly panicked. Mentally, Kahlen groaned. She knew he'd try to pull something like this. Why didn't she corner Alex when he had the chance?

Lena


"I understand, when I was little my aunt left and it really hurt my mom. They had been raising me together and then she took off." Lena watched Jade come up and tell Kahlen about Alex. "Did you know him?" She asked Kahlen.

Kahlen 
"Oh yes, I knew him. Only shortly, but I knew him." Sneaky little trickster, she thought. 

Lena

Lena nodded, "Have you ever met our dad?"

Kahlen 
"Dad?!" Kahlen wanted to find the blond, teenage-looking god and slap him repeatedly. "Only in dreams. Why?"

Lena

"I feel the same about him, and yes, I have only seen him in dreams. I was just wondering whether all of us see our parents in our dreams."

Kahlen 
"Well, I wish he'd stop with the vague comments and actually finish sentences," she muttered under her breath. 

Lena


"So do I, in my dreams, he puts me in movies. It isn't very fun - since I often die- and he never gives a straight answer" she rolled her eyes at the thought of the dreams

Kahlen 
Kahlen ran a hand through her dark chocolate colored hair. She'd left it down today and was starting to regret it. Her headache had intensified and was making it hard to think straight. Alex was gone. Kahlen didn't know how long ago he'd left, which direction he'd gone, but something was nagging at the the back of her mind... why did he leave? Kahlen shook her head. "I thought he'd try something like this," she muttered.

Katie
"Thought who?" Katie asked, plopping herself down beside Kahlen. At this point, Katie really couldn't care less about the rules - her friend seemed angry and she wanted to know how she could help.

Ethel
 Ethel's hair was a windblown mess from the ride. She attempted to brush it back with her hand, to no avail. She huffed and slid off of the pegasus. Kili took to snuffling at some strawberry plants, heading away from Ethel and Bobby.
 "Yeah, uh, thanks. But about that..." she trailed off, opting to pull the stone out of her pocket rather than finishing the sentence.

Kahlen 
"Alex," Kahlen murmered. "He's gone. But where?" she muttered half to herself.

Jade
She shook her head slowly. "No, I don't know where he went." She thought back to the beach the night before and her stomach twisted. Why would he just... leave? She suspected he had left the camp, but she didn't know why, and she especially didn't know where he may have gone. She blinked, and suddenly the scene changed. She was standing on a hill under the sea, overlooking a palace. In front of her stood a man, and she realized with a start that it was her father. He turned and smiled at her. "Jade, my daughter, it is good to see you." She thought it would probably be smart to close her gaping mouth, and so she did. "Zeus is trying to keep us from contacting our demigod children, as he suspects us all - especially me - so we don't have much time." He glared up toward the surface, then turned back to her. "I chose you for the quest, Jade, because I have hope that you can stop this... vagabond, and bring peace back to Olympus. I'm counting on you, and I know you can do it. I wanted you to know -" and Jade was back at the pavilion. Nothing had changed. It had happened in the space of a blink. She cursed Zeus in ancient Greek under her breath, then felt bad about it. She looked out over the camp and set her jaw, green eyes flashing. She wouldn't let her father down.

Bobby
He shifted on his hooves, trying to push back the thoughts about how her windblown hair suited her and looked kind of... well... cute. He glanced at the opal, which caught the sunlight, the myriad of colors inside the indigo stone seeming to sparkle. His brow crinkled in confusion, and he turned his deep brown eyes back up to Ethel. "Is something wrong with it?" he asked cautiously, worried he had messed up with his gift.

Kahlen 
"Jade, did he... say anything about... any voices?" Kahlen felt it was a good time to ask. She'd felt that there was something off about him, and it was the same feeling she had earlier, when the voice had possessed Jade.
