 "Sounds good," she replied. "Just tell me when to go and I'll start moving. I've never had to deal with a situation like this before... unless a creature like this was responsible for that explosion..." she added, trailing off. She shook her head to clear it before continuing. "Is everyone else okay?"

Katie
Henry and Brian had returned by the time a kid almost rolled over the top of Brian, and as Henry realized that this kid of probably only twelve of thirteen had run past the chimera, Katie had already grabbed his hand that had been extended to the kid. "Don't mother him." She said with a sigh, giving a quick smile to the boy. "He can look after himself." Henry gave Katie a sad look, and she knew in that moment that this kid reminded him of his own brother. She turned to the boy, still careful not to bump Harley. "No, you're alright. Did you run all the way past the chimera on your own?"

James
 "I- I guess," he answered, gazing at the girl with confusion. "What- why- how? Do any of you know what's happening? This isn't normal, is it? What kind of zoo keeps stuff like that?"
 James stopped himself before he could ask any more questions. "Is... is she okay?" he asked, peering around the girl at another girl who appeared to be badly injured. "Did that thing do that to her?"

Katie
Katie looked over to Henry and Brian with an unreadable expression on her face. "We have no idea either, do you're not the only one. And...." She paused glancing down at Harley. "And no, it isn't normal." Katie sighed wearily, sitting back on her heels a little, running a hand through her hair. "I don't know what happened to her..... I wasn't watching her, we were all running."

Alex
After climbing up the hill to see what was going on like everyone else, Alex saw two girls hiding halfway down the hill, unable to reach the top because the monster was stalking right around the edges of some border. "Hey! Cat!" He called, throwing a couple of rocks and standing right at the edge of the protective dome. "Here kitty, kitty, kitty!" He grinned when the lion thing had turned towards him, and he led it further away from everyone from behind the barrier.

Kahlen
Kahlen waved in acknowlgement as a boy distracted the monster. "Now's our chance," she hissed. "Make sure to stay hidden. Kahlen ghosted along the bushes, occasionally peeking over at the chimera. She glanced back once, making sure that Ethel was following.

Denver
Denver sighed. "I wish I could do more," he said to himself. He looked up as his twin crossed the border, a new girl following her. "I hope my sister wasn't too scary," he said jokingly to the girl as he stood up. Kahlen punched him in the arm playfully, a little annoyed. "Hello to you too, dear brother. Miss me?"

James
 James nodded absently, squinting his eyes as he tried to get a good look at the camp in the distance. It seemed to be quite large, with a bunch of buildings in different locations. Something in the sky caught his attention and he looked up. Circling the camp was what appeared to be a flying horse.
 "Would ya look at that..." he mused, trailing off as he stared.

Ethel
 She scrambled after Kahlen. She kept herself low to the ground until she felt some kind of invisible barrier resist her. Pushing against it, she emerged on the other side, stood up, and looked around.
 She was greeted by a boy with dusky brown hair. Shooting him a lopsided grin, she responded with, "Eh, I've seen scarier things."
 That comment became a reality when she saw an injured person laying on the ground nearby. Drawing in a shaky breath, the only words that she could muster were, "Oh my god... what... what happened?"
 Ethel had seen someone die before, and it wasn't a memory that she liked being reminded of. Her best friend in fifth grade had been killed by a group of kids at recess one day, and Ethel was still haunted with the guilt of not being able to save the poor girl. Two of the suspects had been arrested, though no one knew what had happened to the rest.

Katie
Katie was holding Harley's hand, resting her head on their entwined hands and murmuring quietly to herself. Henry was patting her back reassuringly, and Brian was pacing, anger almost visibly radiating off of him. "We're not sure." Henry replied, to the girl who asked after Harley. "When we came through the forest, she was running behind us with her...." He paused as Katie stiffened under his hand. "With Anita." He decided on, looking up and giving the girl a sad smile.

Ethel
 "I'm really sorry," Ethel murmured, catching the boy's gaze before looking down at the girl. Who knows what would happen, or if she would even survive. Ethel's eyes darkened. The girl might not get to live to adulthood, or to accomplish all that she wanted to in life... all because of some stupid fantasy monster.

Denver 
Denver laughed at the girl's comment. He checked on the girl- Harley- and silently cursed. Her bandages had almost soaked through, albeit slowly. He took more supplies out of his backpack and began to work again. 

Kahlen
Kahlen took a deep breath and took a few paces away before her stomach turned rebellious. She sat down and started braiding her hair to distract herself.

Katie
"Sorry isn't going to save Harley, now is it?" Katie snapped, standing up and heading over to where Brian was pacing, muttering to Brian angrily as he growled a response back. "I'm sorry about her." Henry said apologetically to the girl, glancing anxiously between Harley and the other two. "We just lost Anita, and now with the possibility of losing Harley as well....." He trailed off, sighing. 

Ethel
 "I understand her reaction. I didn't know what else to say and I didn't wanna just not respond," she told him. She still found it hard to shake the mental image of her deceased friend from her mind whenever she so much as glanced at Harley.
 "We'll... I'll avenge her one day. I promise," Ethel vowed. What are you, some kind of movie character?, she asked herself sarcastically.

Kahlen
Kahlen thought about the proceedings of the last few hours. Then her mind wandered to the other kids. Her instincts told her that she shouldn't trust them and she and her brother should try to leave as soon as possible. Kahlen tried to convince herself that they weren't that bad. Give them a chance, she thought. Kahlen saw somebody waving from the bottom of the hill. She glanced back at her brother, saw he was still busy, and decided she'd go see what was going on.

Katie
"Katie would appreciate that." Henry said genuinely, giving her a smile. "By the way, my name is Henry. This is Harley," He paused, nodding down at the bleeding girl. "And that's Katie and Brian." Henry took Harley's hand and squeezed, letting out a noise of relief when he felt a light squeeze in response. 

Denver
Denver breathed a sigh of relief. Harley was better- minimally, to tell the truth- but better nonetheless. His twin had disappeared. Probably off to brood by berself, he reasoned. She'd be back soon.

Jade
She didn't get a reply, but then again, there was a girl that appeared to be seriously injured. She spotted two girls down on the hill, trying to get up here. A boy distracted the chimera, and they crossed the border. She felt... almost left out, but she was relieved she hadn't become cat chow, and her heart was still racing. She wished she could help more, but she was a bit lost and not sure what she could even do anyways. She turned around and inhaled. Wow. There were strawberry fields, a big ranch house, several odd-looking cabins, and more. This camp looked awesome. She walked over to the boy who had distracted the chimera. The chimera angrily paced nearby, and her presence seemed to agitate it even more. "Aw, what'd I ever do to you?" she asked it. She turned to the boy. "One ugly-looking cat, don't you think?"
