Greek Mythology Roleplay

Bobby
Bobby opened one side of his jacket and pulled his flute from one of the inside pockets. He put his fingers on various holes, as if he was playing. "Sure," he said with a shrug.

James
 James smiled at Katie.
 "Y-yeah, I'll come. I don't really like it here, anyways. I mean... it's nice and all, but this-" he motioned to the entire camp, "-isn't my style. I'm used to traveling. Maybe being on the road constantly isn't a good style, but it's mine, and I like to keep what's mine."
 He noticed Bobby smile at them, and didn't quite know what to think about it. He knew good and well that the satyr was addressing the group as a whole, but... Why does he have to look right at me? Doesn't he know that I'm already super confused just being near him?
 He was aware that Bobby most likely wasn't actually looking in his direction whatsoever, and that he was probably just being way too on edge, but he decided to turn back to Katie so that he didn't have to find out.

Kahlen 
Kahlen took a deep breath. "Is it very common for demigods to have weird dreams? Like... nightmares.... or messages?" She hoped she wasn't the only one.

Bobby
He slipped the flute back into his pocket. "Yeah. Demigods have weird dreams all the time. A lot of times they just have nightmares, but sometimes they're visions or messages from the gods. I've heard some see glimpses of the future or what's going on somewhere else at that moment." 

Kahlen 
"Oh. That's... great. Thanks." Kahlen hoped her tone wasn't giving away anything. She didn't think she was ready to tell anyone about what she'd seen yet.

James
 "Uh, one time I dreamed that I had the head of a bird. Then some people started saying stuff about me being the wrong person or something. Not sure what that was about," James admitted, brushing it off as a joke.

Katie 
Katie grinned, relieved. "Understandably so." She turned to look up at the dark sky, knowing she should probably try and get some sleep. "We leave tomorrow, I think, so we should probably get some sleep."

Bobby
He looked at James. "Are you coming, too?" The way Katie had said 'we' implied everyone there, including James. "I didn't know you had been chosen for the quest." He pulled a soda can from one of his pockets and bit off one end. "And I think we do leave tomorrow," he added after swallowing, nodding to Katie. "We have a meeting around dawn with Chiron." 

Jade
She stood outside the Poseidon cabin. "Well," she said, looking at Alex, "good night, I guess." She gave him a slanted smile. "I'll see you tomorrow." She stepped into her cabin and headed to the bed she had decided as hers. The salty sea air smelled amazing. 

James
 "Yeah, I'm coming. I figured I might as well," he responded, cautiously looking at Bobby. Don't make it obvious that you're freaking out right now. Why am I even freaking out?
 That last though stopped him cold. Why was he freaking out about Bobby? That doesn't matter right now. Stick to the program.
 He took a deep breath and tried his best to appear relaxed.

Bobby
He shrugged. "Okay." He turned and addressed the whole group. "Katie's right, we should all get some sleep. Quests tend to involve lots of moving, and you'll be tired quickly." Not that I've been on any. That didn't matter, though, because he had taken a special class on questing with demigods. He was super excited but also nervous about his very first quest. "I'll see you all tomorrow at the meeting, then." He turned and trotted away.

James
 "Goodnight guys," James said, waving goodbye as he left the pavilion. He wasn't thinking about the quest as much as he was thinking about his emotions. I've never gotten close to anyone before. I have no idea about what I'm feeling. Maybe I can talk to Katie about it sometime. She seems cool.

Kahlen 
Kahlen snuck back to the Apollo cabin. Try as she might, she couldn't fall asleep. Her mind kept reminding her of the dreams she'd had.

Alex 
Alex gently toed open the door to the Hecate cabin, hushing a dog bark from inside with a grumbled "Shut up."

"I can't believe she gave you that stupid dog." Alex groaned, flopping down onto a spare bed. "My mother didn't "give" me anything." Ava scoffed, as the former queen of Troy, now black dog returned to lying on Ava's bed sulkily. "Hecuba is a companion, and an intelligent one at that, thank you very much." "Yeah yeah, whatever." Alex muttered, voice muffled by the pillow he was lying on. "So, you going to follow your pretty girlfriend and what she thinks will be her death defying quest group?" Ava asked over the book in her hands and the mug on her lap. "First of all, she's not my girlfriend, but she is pretty, right? That's not just me?" "She is pretty." Ava confirmed, not looking up, and Alex continued. "Second of all, I'm not going to be following them. I know the prophecy now, and I'll get to our family before they do. Third, Jade can hold her own. And the others won't go down without a good fight." Ava nodded, flicking her fingers absently and the gaslamp on the desk beside her became just a little brighter. "Alright. Well, get some rest."

Kahlen 
Kahlen had gotten up early, before the sun rose. She was sitting on a rock next to the Big House, watching the sunrise. Today she'd worn a Camp Halfblood hoodie and a pair of dark blue jeans, with her hair down again, because hey, it was great at hiding her face.
